- I had Andy and his friends out for a full day trip off Islamorada in August. We started out swordfishing and caught one in the late morning, and then all of a sudden a pack of mahi mahi swam up! We hooked them on every rod we had and it was chaotic 10 minutes! After catching those we swordfished a little while longer and then moved onto some deep drop bottom fishing. The barrelfish bite was hot and after a handful of them it was time to call it a day. Back at home our Friend Jocelyn came over and shared her favorite mahi taco recipe! Mahi Street Taco's!

Well said TakkiMann-the real USA is filled with people that are nothing like what media tropes and politicians portray. I'm sorry to hear about your state. It sucks to lose a few mph on your fastball but it will happen to all of us. A huge amount of the joy of fishing is the prep, selecting gear, learning the lingua franca, and as you say, reliving experiences in your mind made more vivid through the superb content that folks like Nick, Matt Watson (got to get a plug in for a kiwi), and countless others put out there. I hope your health is such that you can still get to a pond, a dock or a seawall and bend a rod. The satisfaction of executing on a plan applies for a bluegill, a jack or a sheepshead just as much as for the blue water glamor fish (with way less filleting).

Quick tip for an appetizer. I like to lightly grease the pan on med. Heat. Take a slice of cheese(queso Fresco) bout 1/2 inch thick and brown it directly on the pan. Do the tortilla the same way and fill it with the cheese and toast it a little.... Next level quesadilla!!
She has a very good quality for UA-cam well she has two good quality for UA-cam first she now's how to cook and second and most important she likes to cook plus she can fancy UP a taco so she should give UA-cam a try.

Props to Bean. A lot of those mahi were marginal gaffers and the anglers were not really helping much controlling the fish. I don’t know a mate out there that wouldn’t have had a few misses. Great job and great video.

Good deal actually saw some guys reeling in their own fish.Just not getting that reel that reels itself. Just never seen that before it must be a tourist thing.its not sport fishing. Just heard you say nobody wants to crank something out of 1000 feet.Understand that.I bet you know the feel of that fighting chair.its been awhile since we have done offshore fishing I guess alot has changed. My husband been looking at all t he new rods and reels online.
