Just speculation but I believe the Typhoon car needs that tune checked. It should be pulling harder than that.

smoke is from heavy braking after a pull. bad pcv or needs a catch can.

Could be a PCV issue. They do that when off throttle when PCV is blown.

The IS38 version you had in before got toasted, so you spend more on a Vortex. Some people live for cars and others own property.

You can see in that first roll he was hanging back and then getting on the anchor's to brake boost on the honk , wouldn't have made any difference you're car is clearly has more power and torque.
I saw a lot of blue smoke trailing his car after each of the races,
he might have an issue with compression or turbo seals.

Same build we all do. FBO, MPI, RS3 pump, hybrid turbo (XL in this case), upgraded clutch, custom tune on E85 Same ol same ol. not rocket science

Typhoon is the bigger Vortex XL, built by EQT. So it actually has more headroom and top end.
Mamba GTX3071R is equivalent, but with ball bearings.

Probably oil in intake through the PCV, happens with the EA888 engines when tuned.
Happens with badly managed EA888 when tuned. Did you see Jewel's ripping smoke off throttle? No.

I dont understand why get a EQT turbo and have someone other than the people who have designed and created the turbo to tune it lol. Not bias by any means, I’ve been EQT is20/is38 e85 and Sneeky for my hybrid. Both great companies. But you would think the people who made the turbo would know what’s best tho
All is38 hybrids are kind designed the same, the only difference is the tuner choice. Eqt is that much better compared to others.. no matter the turbo choice , eqt tunes are great

I have a 19 R that only has Stage 1 APR ECU & TCU Tune, CTS Intake and Lowering Springs - I am starting to feel like it is too slow - Any suggestions to what step next?
Downpipe intercooler, turbo inlet. Mod the stock air box for now and ride that out with a eqt or gls tune

It’s all relative. You should be 4.1 0-60 still , 12 in the 1/4. DP & stage 2 flash will give u another 30 hp , but upgraded turbo and fueling + better tires will put you into m3 comp range of performance from a roll
Intercooler should be first mod. You went in the wrong order.
