its awesome how they are taking note and making regular changes and upgrades..the gravity tool is something i have wanted for a long time, so i can drop a car or object onto a sloped ground and it will attach correctly - massive time saver!..thanks for the updates fella!
@@TheRenderingEssentials sorry i have just instal twinmotion butni cant use path tracer. I have a gtx 1060 3 gb and it is out of the minimum sistem requirement. Is there anything I can do to re-introduce path motion or at least make it more realistic?
I do like the studio backdrops. But you are right - if you add a simple studio model floor and back wall cyclorama to hide the HDRI image from your render, any backlight in the HDRI is masked by your backwall. We will have to wait for the official twinmotion webinar to see what they say.
Justin, hi! Thanks a lot for your brilliant work and content! I was wondering if you ever planned to use cloud rendering/ render farm services? I would gladly have some guidance there, cause I cannot have enough gpu/cpu power on my machine, sadly(
I was dreading to start learning to use a render for it adds extra complexity with lighting compared with exteriors and environments. I am very pleased with the idea of the out-of-box studio solution that this version is promising. Surely they must make it customizable with lighting and backdrop???? I was debating which software to go towards, but the price of Twinmotion seems very reasonable, especially with the new library contents and hopefully more decals.... I am definitely up for a new demo scene with a studio setup...
Heyy! Whenever I try to import animated character models from sketchfab in twinmotion, it is importing as still model posed as T...why is that? Is there any other option to import animated models inside twinmotion?
Well, gravity tool is great, but what I would like to see the most in Twinmotion, is any kind of hierarchy or bones animation. You can use only one movement or rotation per object folder but you can't use second movement or rotation on parts or objects in subfolders of that object. I already created a big base of primitives so I can quickly model anything without modelling software, but if they do that for animation, I would not need any other programs.
very well explained Justin.. i really need to get into realtime rendering.. How does this compare to the latest Enscape or Lumion? I am usually doing interior design. Is this the best software for this kind of work?
Are they ever going add the ability to export render passes for post processing? If you could export MaterialID and ObjectID passes, this software would dominate for architectural rendering and concept art. Should have been a Day One feature.
Yes that's pretty normal for SketchFab - since anyone can upload, the models aren't always modeled to scale. Just use the scale function to scale them down and you should be fine
@@ChukaOnoh With the new features they have-Yes at least in my opinion. My workflow is much better/easier with Twinmotion over Lumion. Twinmotion is insane and cheap to buy. I hope that never changes.
Hi, I just got my MacBook Pro M1 max with top specs. Only to discover that the Mac users can’t benefit from the one of the most important features in the newest version which is the “path tracing” .. it hit me like a train .. what a blowout and disappointment .. any thoughts in that regard ?!!!!
I mean...they're pretty open and clear that M1 is not fully supported both on the download page and the release notes - I even highlighted it at 12:38 in the video - I don't have any thoughts other than "it's not working right now"
I don't know what is the problem, but the sketchfab models take forever to load. I have 250 mbps fiber... I think I downloaded twinmotion itself faster than some Sketchfab models
Great update QUESTION: twinmotion do not allow me to run pathtracer since I dont have alot of GPU memory , can I override this?? I know my laptop can run it because Enscape runs smoothly. Thanks 😃
We are having the same issue with our Revit workflow, the previous TM update allowed you to paint objects with discreet materials no matter if they came in as the same material. Now we need to make sure every material in Revit is different so we can work the way we did before. Really annoying!!
Thank you The Rendering Essentials for your videos and thank you for letting people share some ideas here , it has helped me reach over $240,000 in trading by age 24! . Keep the videos coming. 👍🏽
They're leaving everyone else for dead! How can Lumion justify their charges when for less than 20% of the cost for the first year you can get Twinmotion?

Because of you I’ve been using Twinmotion since 2019. An absolute game changer in my workflow! Thank you Justin.
Glad I've been able to help!
Thank YOU! Great video as always!

Love your videos, always watch after there's a new twin update. Find even more useful info on here than their official release videos XD
Thanks!
So glad i just bought a New GFX card + have on order a new monitor . looking forward to testing this new version
caustic for water in path tracing did they update it yet?
wow 😱😱😱 more please
Great job. The hdri backdrop is a really big deal. I shared your video. Thanks.
Hello, is it possible to get rid of the background image on the HDRI and only use the lighting parameters?
Any thoughts about Twinmotion vs D5 Render?
This is beginning to be jaw dropping....
It's looking pretty good :)

Fantastic upgrades as usual. A 3gb file has converted to 760mb which is a massive help.
Ooh nice - I hadn't tested this, but this is a big improvement!

just jump in its very easy and worth while to learn
Would be amazing if there would be a life link between TM and SketchUp.
Yes! Great idea, let's ask for a studio scene!!!
It would be a great addition!
@@TheRenderingEssentials are you work with ng with PC or Mac?
I have a new Mac and Pathtracer is still not working.
Awesome! Is twinmotion free? or how it works?
I can’t open my sketchup file in lumion …. It shows fatal out of memory…. But there is enough graphics ….. please help me🙏🏻

If it's not on this list, you should add it - portal.productboard.com/epicgames/3-twinmotion-public-roadmap/tabs/4-under-consideration
@@TheRenderingEssentials It is under consideration, but I agree: I don't understand why they did not included this from day one.
@@michaelroberts2832 absolutely criminal this option isnt in there

@@TheRenderingEssentials Good to know I'm not alone in experiencing this issue. Thanks for your response!!
Is it now possible to use external ies files for lights?
YES
Bro with our Direct link in which format can I save file in archicad 25 , for twinmotion ,. Because there is lo fbx format to save
I don't know as I don't really use Archicad
Purchased this in late 2021 and this has been the BEST 3D software investment…period.
Awesome!
Better than Lumion? Your opinion?
@@ChukaOnoh With the new features they have-Yes at least in my opinion. My workflow is much better/easier with Twinmotion over Lumion. Twinmotion is insane and cheap to buy. I hope that never changes.
I only see big problem with so far, path tracing being incompatible with decals and water
yes they need to fix that
Does a GTX 1200m with 32go ram works with it ?
Sure

Great update

No you cannot
We can't make any surface unique in twinmotion to apply a different material only on that surface.
Yes you can!

...what?
They're leaving everyone else for dead! How can Lumion justify their charges when for less than 20% of the cost for the first year you can get Twinmotion?
Lumion can charge whatever they want to. They've got a great product too. People can also choose not to pay it if they don't like the features
