As talented as you are, you fail to remember, (in my case) I am proper crap at doing what you do!!!

I can smash all kinds of things out the park, but what you guys do is like you're direct descendants of Jesus!; I was expecting to get a loaf, a fish and a glass of wine delivery the moment the video finished! By a beardy mailman!!!
I have a question for you regarding my kit tho... I've bought a maple flame leaf veneer (0.69mm) - I misread mm for cm.
Please pass on any advice. I've got 2 20x60 veneer sheets, uneven btw, that I want to attempt to use as a top on my very first diy build.
Any help would be so appreciated. Or even a link where you have shown how to do what I'm looking at

This is such a marmite guitar for me. There are things that are utterly beautiful and things that utterly detract from this guitar. It's not fair to say which things are which. Same can be said about the builder. What is undeniable is that it has been a thought provoking exhibition of luthiery, for which I am grateful.

I absolutely love the ideas you've put together for the guitar build. The gorgeous main body's lacquer is quite mesmerising. The ivory looking skeletal frame is a fantastic idea. As I watched, it sparked an idea of my own. I thought to have a; piano black main-body with an ivory skeletal frame actually embedded into the main-body. Giving the impression of the frame rising from within the body of the guitar. You sir are an inspirational artisan. Thank you for your video.

I showed my wife the outer "skeleton" and she then understood why I sit and watch you build guitars. She then said "I'm surprised you don't do full builds" lol then said " you are a perfectionist " ..lolol. I love my wife because our house is cluttered with guitar's , part's and amplifier's along with motorcycle part's . I don't think I have the amount of wood working skills I need to do what is being done here. Mad Respect by the way!!! I'll stick to repair and set up work and leave it up to the professionals to do to guide myself and other's.. And yes, I have an awesome wife that let's me build motorcycles in the dining room and living room.. I always end up binge watching Crimson Guitar videos and I appreciate the love of tools as well. The craftmanship is second to none!! What an honour it was to watch that build. I was wondering all along how the "wooden web" would take shape and form part of the guitar - I must admit, it detracts for me, massively in fact. I thought it was going to be inlayed somehow. That wouldn't last two weeks in a guitarist hands. But dear me, what skill.
