Watching Dave Simpson play this guitar 2 plus years on...what a beast, it surely has to be one of Ben's finest to date simply a stunning looking guitar.
I’ve watched this about six times since it was first completed. I still don’t know of any other guitar on earth Id rather have just for looking at. Once again sir I say to you, amazing. This thing could hang as art beside the Mona Lisa and not be out of place.
Gold hardware is a little polarising, I've often mixed it up with black to minimise the effect but, well.. this one I had to go all out and I am glad I did! Thank you for your support Michael! B
I'm not a guitar player, I'm a drummer for literally 45 years, but if i ever hit the lottery here in the states I'd have a room full of guitars I love and I would have this one in the collection for sure. It is simply amazing.
That build is extremely beautiful. I have to say that my favorite feature is the carve of the guitar. It is extremely elegant. I would also like to praise the young man that has done the finish. It really takes the hands of an artist to make that black and gold river shine. Awesome !
@@Phoenix_cataclysm_in_2040 Ya think so do you? The cheek of the pair of you when you know it is sitting next to me at home as we share a bottle of wine.

Hey Ryan, thank you, and thank you for showing your friends, though I wonder how you gain friends outside of the guitar world!? We're always going to do super edits from now on.. they are easy enough to do and worth the time imo. Thanks for watching! B
That guitar will end up in a museum one day cause it is a work of art well done....... the thing that gives me the chills is the wood..... it waited 3000 years to be appreciated......
Wow that is a stunning creation. Has to be the absolute best guitar I've ever seen as far as being appealing to the eye I literally wouldn't change a thing about it.
I don’t always agree with some of your builds, but this one is a grand slam. This is what I call a custom guitar. It’s unique, artistic, elegant and beautiful. Custom shop Les Paul? Pfff, A guitar like this blows them away everyday of the week and twice on Sunday.
Yes, I just finished watching all 5 videos of this build. Yes, I am also compelled to watch this 20 minute fast edit version. No, I am not obsessed. I can stop any time I want! Just beautiful!
Not only beautiful in it's own right, having all the bling melded into the curvaceous (yes, I know) contours and arches of the classic Les Paul outline, but also inspirational as well. I have just purchased an experimental amount of clear resin from an Amazon supplier and was looking for ideas. And here we are!
Incredible. I've seen epoxy and wood in coffee tables and the such, but not in a guitar. This piece is absolutely stunning. Out of curiosity, what would a guitar like this sell for, Ben?
Possibly the most beautiful guitar I have ever seen. I am an aspiring guitar builder and your next level creations are always a huge inspiration. Thanks Ben... keep up the great work. Merry Christmas.
Congrats Ben! Stunning job , loved it. I always hated golden hardware BUT fits so graceful in this piece of art. Million thanks for your dedication and care. I was born between ancient ruins and seeing your creative vein here has been like getting eternal a moment in time.
I have to say. I have been critical of previous videos in the past because of to much talking. But I couldn’t stop watching this build. It’s absolutely stunning. Perfect amount of talk and video. Really loved it. Well done! I am a fan once more!
*****FAVORITE build of yours... Ever. PLEASE do one with silver leaf in a similar way (same type of wood and resin). Maybe add some blue to the resin in places, see through blue if its possible. Crazy silver tuners like you got in gold. Maybe a super strat style or an SG shape or maybe like a PRS or EVH shape. You could change things up enough for peoole to be super interested yet they know the quality and style will be the same as your previous build. I would probably make a third one in the series with black hardware and emerald leaf. That would be AMAZING.... Cheers mate. PS: maybe you could add glow in the dark powder to all the resin stuff. Would be amazing when played live.

Also the small touches add so much, like you I'm not a fan of plastic humbucker surrounds (or even metal ones for that matter) but just dulling them off like you did looks so classy. For me (and I don't know why) but when you decided on the trapeze tailpiece and fitted it the whole guitar just looked fantastic, soooo glad you didn't go for the standard stop tailpiece they're look so bloody agricultural. I think this guitar is a nice balance between being different but not too outlandish, I think the gold leaf is the "star of the show" rather than the resin...
