My son (SGU med student) and his wife are living in that house right now. And by coincidence, I lived in that same house 40 years ago as an SGU student.

Beautiful outside views from your apt!
There are apts in the USA where some
landlords do not provide the following:
    1. Beautiful views
    2. Central Air
    3. AC in the kitchen or bedroom. (Only in the living room).
    3. Dishwasher
    4. Refrigerator
    5. TV
    6. Furniture
    7. Etc
Therefore, apts in Grenada are not 100% different.
Remember Grenada is a tropical island with lots of wind/breeze. As a result, apts can be kept cool by nature and clothes can be dried by nature.

Luxurious apts in Grenada with all the amenities are more expensive. (Similar to the USA).

True they could not afford a house with all the things they don’t have in this one in Grenada. There are very beautiful luxury homes in Grenada. Your husbands a student so the home you are living in makes sense as that’s what is affordable to you.

Why do you ppl always complain about your items not the same as in America? That country is call Grenada not America. Only Americans have large fridges…. In Italy you go to the market to buy your food each day.

Hey! I am married with 4 kids. How do you think your kid(s) do with the island life? My daughter is T1D and has insulin requirements. Does the power stay on pretty consistently (her insulin has to stay cold). Thank you!

Hi, our daughter loved living on the island (we’re from Missouri). She still talks about missing the beach. There are lots of families that come down and many do activities together. It is a challenge, but I’m sure things are easier now that COVID isn’t as prevalent. The biggest thing to realize is that its not the US and just learn to go with the flow. We didn’t have any issues with the power from what I remember. It may have went out a couple times but it was back on pretty quickly.

@@everydayeasterdays Thank you so much. It is my intention to take my wife and four kids with me during my time on the island and I am just worried about having what they need and keeping them safe. Your videos have helped me so much!

No, you can't. You won't be living in the Caribbean for that cheap unless you're in a tent.

If you're American, just don't. A simple google search, or reading the SDN or Reddit premed forums, will tell you exactly why.
