The symbiotes grant their hosts all the memories, powers, and abilities of their previous hosts. That’s why Venom has all of Spider-Man’s powers. As for the tongue I believe the reason Spider-Man didn’t have all that is because Spider-Man’s more in control whereas Brock just embraces it.

@@Silver-Ball_Z I didn’t know that part but at least Venom is immune to spider sense but in spectacular Spider-Man that’s only because Peter spent so much time with the suit that his spider sense doesn’t recognize Venom as a threat.
@@michaelrandolph6373 the comic reason is the Symbiote tried to emulate that one too, but failed. Its knowledge about the Spider-Sense, though, allowed to develop a counter to it, becoming "invisible to the Danger Radar"
And Eddie's hatred towards Peter further corrupted the symbiote, which is why it sounded more evil and looked more venomous and bloodthirsty.

If you notice, the black suit's design changes throughout these episodes. It starts off as a recolor and very slight redesign of the red and blue, but starts to progressively look more and more like the classic black suit.

this episode takes me back to the good old days seeing his memories and how he overcomes the symbiote. the end of this arc and start of venom was just a beautiful episode really made me tear up at times seeing bens unfortunate death. childhood me will still miss this show always love spiderman stay safe and ciao!

ive gotta say, Venom remind me here of the native american nelusa flaya ("long black being"), and the norse shamanic-origined revenant, the Draugor.
the nelusa can slide with his gangly body like snake and melt into the shadows, and curropt the mind of children from under their beds or of hunters that he find in the forest.
the Draugor can leave his physical body (can be pale, or "necro- blue, blaoted to a size of an oxe") that reside in his burial mound, in a form of "black smoke" (similiar to the parasitic suntle-body of the slavic obour-krvoijac), can cause poltergeist and night hag in a form of cat that keep grow beiiger and heavier everey night (mara), devour and mutilatte cattle and people, might turn others through his horrible stench/supernatural presence/or its from the trauma he cause them, cause madness to animals who get close to his grave, change his size to became heavier in id moved from his grave.

The symbiote is actually an alien from the planet Klyntar. The actual name of the symbiote isn't Venom. Venom is the name Eddie Brock and the symbiote (who is just called the symbiote and doesn't have an actual name on its own) named themselves when they bonded in the comics once Spider-Man had rejected the Symbiote because the symbyiote had secretly been using Peter's body when he was asleep without him knowing to fight crime along with many other things Peter didn't know about. Eddie and the symbiote decided to call themselves Venom because when Eddie worked as a reporter he had been "spewing Venom in the news" and so they would call themselves that. Yes it's a bit goofy but Venom is actually a bit goofy in the comics (in a funny way). Another reason is because together when they combined they were poison for Peter Parker and Spider-Man, They were Venom. Eddie and the Symbiote also always refer to themselves as "we" because they have such a strong bond. Their villainous days didn't last long as Venom became an antihero not too long afterwards. Venom has honestly been depicted kind of terribly and very inaccurately in all of his live-action adaptations.
Honestly I would love to see a proper live action anti venom but we’d most likely only get that in one of the venom movies where venom is already an anti hero type character. The whole point of anti venom is taking all the benefits of Venom with fewer draw backs and the addition of a healing ability.

@@leonardolonghi3472 nah it sounds pretty accurate. Anti Venom is Venom but less monstrous and Brock is 100% in control and he can cure people of illness and cancer. I don’t know if he’s as strong because he looks pretty skinny compared to the Schwarzeneggian Venom but he undeniably has a lot of the same powers.

That's horribly over-simplified!
Anti-Venom is way more complex and with a huger powerset and personality than just being "Venom but white"
The fact that when you tried to go beyond your "White Venom" point you were already admitting "I don't know about this or this..." is pretty much a confirmation of a very basic and superficial knowledge of the character, not to mention half of your points are straight-up WRONG🤣🤣
And the fact that you have to compare him with "Schwarzeneggian Venom" in order to theorize his strength also proves you have no whatsoever knowledge about any Marvel character at all, given the "more muscular = stronger" mentality you expressed

Yeah we're getting to the real nitty gritty of it, also I do like how they got into the lesser abilities of the symbiote for this show, The Symbiote allowed Peter to wear almost anything he wanted while wearing it which explains the black shirt, although they didn't do his whole outfit that is cool
Funny tidbit but if you notice with each passing episode with the symbiote the symbol on his chest bigger and bigger showing that the symbiote is influencing him more

Now see, the symbiote gave Eddy visions of Peter's memories, revealing he's Spider-man right? Now you'd think learning this and seeing things through his perspective would make Eddie understand Peter better for all that's happened right? Nope, he still chooses to hate Peter. Only proving Eddie was just a jerk who needs some to lash out at for his misfortunes
I always imagined in this instance it's the symbiote manipulating Eddie with selecting what it wants to show him, Eddie is furious at both Peter and Spider-Man and the symbiote wants revenge on Spider-Man for his rejection of it. Seems like angry Eddie is being played by this thing.

Yeah that always did confuse me but nowadays I just think it was because the suit was encouraging a blind rage in Eddie which is exactly how it wants its hosts. We hear the symbiote talking in Peter’s head trying to change the way he thinks so it’s probably doing the same thing with Eddie.
