I'm 62 and remember him well.. My cousin and my brother and I loved him.. We loved all things Evil.. He was great.. What a time to live.. The 70's were great man.. When men were men!
Even if it’s only three times a year this is the best podcast period!! Love you guys and all other podcasts go on hold when a new university of badassery drops!
@@MetalMotivation Fan for life buddy I love what you guys are doing. As soon as I make it past this crazy time in my life I am going to be a squad member.
I still remember the getting Evel "amf" bicycle as a birthday gift, then destroying it on homemade ramps in the driveway :-) you all brought back some childhood memories! *CHEERS*
Man I’m glad I’ve gotten to know C.J. & Mac through the Squad over the last year and a half. You guys continue to produce amazing content, perpetuating Badassery, and being good people. I look forward to hanging out with y’all soon!
Do an episode in Hugh Glass from the movie the Revenant. So much more to that mans life than the movie showed! He spent a lifetime almost at sea and became a pirate prisoner! Great story.
Went as Evel for Halloween. Probably 7-8 years old. My Dad had a motorcycle helmet with Stars and Stripes. I wore that bobble head snd a sheet with red white and blue stripes. #70’s
Jeremy, the booted me off FB for the fourth time. A large portion of my involvement with the squad was through FB. It's severely limited without that. Also, I moved out to a large ranch with very limited cell service. That hinders my online interactions as well.
Honestly it's such a good idea to do a podcast on the other badasses in history. Definitely different. But also it's ok for pat to be vain for an episode and tell us some more cold war stories.
So personally Evel was a douchebag and just full of himself. I don’t think he was driven by the reasons Mac was. I respect the heck out what drove Mac. The only thing I will say positive for him was he was willing to take responsibility for his actions. Not a badass IMHO. for what it’s worth.

This brought back a lot of good memories, thanks

"Three times a year" LOL. Oh man, we are guilty as charged! Thanks for sticking with us.

Sounds like we had a similar childhood.

Every person in the 70's watched him every time he jumped on his motorcycle.
Great podcast gentlemen. Thanks very much.
Saw that you awesome DUDES were talking about one of my childhood favorites and... well... had to listen/watch...

In the 60's and 70's we were all Evel Knievel on our banana seat Stingray bikes.

Great....now I gotta change my routine....I love my routine.

EVH poster - That gives you cred in my eyes. Maybe do an episode on the Gracie family, or Bruce Lee.
Missing all you cats on the squad! Great to see a new UoB podcast!
Come back!

If there's someone in the squad that knows how to get a hold of FB and how to deal with those sorts of issues, I'd probably come back real soon.
@@joningram4187 make a account just for the squad

That towed jumper story gives me the willys every time I hear it.
THEY'RE BACK
Right?! I can't believe it's been this long.
You guys should do a podcast at least 1 a week.
.
One cinder block
One sheet of plywood
One bike
Endless possabilities.
Endless fun.
Can you guys please talk about John Paul Jones!!

I agree. He's a great storyteller.
Good vibes today Dudes 🤘👍
Right on, brother
You can have Rebecca sit at the kit behind you and furnish rim shots whenever you crack jokes.
LOL good one
I would love to hear Mac tell the story of Roy Benivides or Charlie Beckwith.
Mike Join the tier 1 squad on Patreon. Mac will answer all those questions.
Awesome.
Was his jump ever successfull?
I love that line. George Hamilton, very very famous 70's actor but.. you don't want to watch a George Hamilton movie. Roger that. Concur.
Pat’s WWF faces rock! 🤘
Kit Carson would be a good one to do some research on and talk about... he was a true wilderness BADASS!!!

We discuss that thoroughly in this episode.
