Very surreal! Yeah he’s a great guy, so good to chat with and just hang around. To be fair, even we didn’t expect to go see them all and even go out in the car, was a shock 😮

@@MrElijah20221 No BMW will compare to the M5 CS, the M8 will be a huge downgrade, too big and boaty! The M5 CS has a big V8, the next from BMW will be a CS or CSL variant for sure!

@@wam_barn im the same watched chris harris for years before he was even noticed. he is epic as a driver. yes please more videos like this. love how you want to enjoy the cars for what they are designed to do. obviously i appreciate they cost a lot of money to buy and up keep but this is one thing that makes you guys stand out from the crowd. loving the channel.

I was actually down there, when you guys were there and too see not only the beauty that is the gt3rs but the BMW’s aswell was just surreal !! And even speaking to Chris and him saying how good the Porsches Aero is for a road car he’s not wrong is a beast of a car

So, this is "the car"...until the 992 GT2 RS comes out. I own the new 992 GT3 RS, and a manual 992 GT3, and a GT4 RS. They are all "the car", depending on what's important to you.

He was speaking from the perspective of straight line speed and acceleration. The 991 2RS is quicker than the 992 3RS in a straight line and slightly slower at the Nordschleife, where most owners won't be driving all the time!
@amarjit_singh_ Don't make stuff up and put words in his mouth...stick to the facts. You don't know what he was referring to because he wasn't specific when he made that comment. However, it appears he was talking about track prowess, not straight line performance, because he mentioned how the aero makes up for the lack of power. That wouldn't be a comment he would make if he was talking about straight line. Finally, they have both been tested at 2.7s 0 to 60...but, again, that's besides the point.
@@damachine3When he says that's the car what else would you think he might be implying? Let's face it, the 2RS is equally good in a straight line and on the track! Also he was talking about how the aero is there to make the 3RS a capable car for the track even with just 500 odd horses!

Agreed, it’s all very subjective too to the driver… some people will love it and some people won’t like it as much! Also depends where and when you drive it too I’d say 🤔
Still think the 3RS is disappointing in a straight line. Not sure your 2RS with MR would stay with it around most circuits? Enjoy when you get your hands on yours, I’ve had mine since July ❤
Yeah agreed, we did a video at Piston Heads (the Ferrari thumbnail video on our channel) and we were chatting about the 3RS vs 2RS. Much prefer the 2RS due to the straight line factor, 3RS may be ahead behind around the bends, but straights it wouldn’t leave much of a gap in front of the 2RS I don’t think. Oh very nice, have you been on track much with it, also what spec did you go with?😁
@@wam_barn yep, manage to get to Donington a couple of times, Castle Combe and more recently Bedford Aerodrome. Car is amazing. I kept it safe, Launch Spec, Pyro wheels etc, PCCB, Weissach Package, I have a 991.2 RS Lizard Green plus WP, said I’d never ever sell it, but the 992 is so much better, I’ve put it at Porsche Centre West London on a sale or return

There's no way I'd ever buy a press car. They rev the balls of them and take years off the engine life. Great car though 👍
Press cars are properly looked after servicing wise. Yes they do get driven hard but maintenance by Porsche will be done after each drive out, and they’re used… much better than one that’s been sat unused (I’d still not buy a press though haha) 😅

They should have thrown a small turbo but then again people are spending 50-100 grand over sticker lol so why put more money into a car that influencers already are throwing money at ??
