I have one of these and I love it. The only thing I can say about the cruise control on mine is I that I think I hugs the left side of the lane a bit too closely for my driving comfort. Also, over a long 600+ mile trip I only averaged 25.4mpg. Not what I was hoping for especially with the price of the required premium fuel. Other than that, I agree with all you’ve said. Thanks.
I barely use pilot assist. I find it is fine if there is light traffic, straight roads. But as soon as the road is curvy it requires so much intervention that it’s more work than ....just driving. The selector for the transmission also SUX ! You need to pull on it like you’re trying to free Excalibur from a stone. My experience is with the V90 so could be a bit different.
Three optional packs available on the 21 XC60 down under; Climate pack: heated front seats, headlamp cleaners heated steering wheel. Lifestyle pack: panoramic sunroof, tinted rear windows and choice of Harman/Kardon sound or Bowers and Wilkins. Other than that, metallic paint, air suspension and I think a few seat options like ventilation, Napa leather, extra cushion extensions.

Nice review. I'm not sure about comparing it to the V60 however as the XC60 has optional air suspension which beats the wagon's ground clearance by nearly an inch but I have to agree, I prefer the looks of the V60 as well.
They all have a perforated screen below it. Anyway wait for 2022 when Volvo converts all their models to the Google infotainment system. I tried it on the xc40 P8 fully electric and it is worth waiting for, won't age like typical car systems. (People say it's better that what tesla/Audi offers as well.) It should improve with time instead.
I have pilot assist and adaptive cruise on a 2021 XC60. It works amazing on UK motorways. I've not had to intervene once to avoid a collision aside from prodding it every 15s. It drives almost perfectly between the lines and even on quite strong bends. Far better system than my 2016 GLC which was only fine on straight roads.
PHEV VERSION. The singular most disappointing aspect of the charge system is it inability to set a charge timer either through the car or app. So unless you have a smart home charger people like me on an economy 7 tariff need to be nocturnal to benefit from off peak charging. Volvo UK offer no solution. A retrograde step from earlier models and spoiling my enjoyment of a brand new car!
I have a 2019 T6R - it is my 2nd one - love it but won’t buy another. After just 650 miles the drivers side front wheel departed the car. Insurance fixed everything - no one was hurt (although the wheel came off on a freeway - the problem is San Diego Volvo and Volvo itself did nothing for me. They claimed the vehicle must have been vandalized. Total nonsense as I have ring floodlight and camera over my driveway - absolutely disappointed with the dealer lack of support and the manufacturer’s BS claims.
I have a cx60 t5 and I can't stand it I have a car for about 17 months less than 2,000 miles on it it don't even have the power of a like ecosystem for three cylinder Ford very slow

so many equipment but no engine temperature indicator, voltage and levers for gearbox manual mode as a standard.
