Thanks for these very useful instructional videos. I’m from the UK and just starting to use soft plastics so I’m sure your instructions are just as relevant here too. Thanks again.

a tried and true pattern for sure that many bait brands utilize. In America there is a brand called bass assassin/salt assassin. A bait brand with all different pattern baits but for whatever reason I have had a lot of success catching “speckled trout” in Galveston with a silver glitter/gray/black curly tail of there making.

My only complaint is they melt easily. Other than that they caught me lots of fish

I haven't seen any doubletails in a long time, and yet there was a time they were considered great lures. Have they just gone out of fashion, or is there some reason people don't seem to be using them anymore?

Great informative video I'm just a bit surprised you change hands to wind in a lot easier to use your left.

Hey Syekroy, hope all's well and you're getting stuck into a few. I grew up fishing that way from a very young age, so it is built into me now... especially after years of high speed spinning with my right hand from the beach. It is all automatic now, so I don't even notice that I am changing hands to cast. It's interesting how in different parts of the world it varies also. All the best with the fishing. Cheers, Justin

exactly. muscle memory. that is all it is. One is not “easier” than the other, per se. I switch hands too. But if I decided to practice casting and reeling with the same hand for a thousand casts, it too, would became muscle memory and second nature. It is all about the muscle memory that you practice. It does not matter if a person switches hands or stays on the same hand. Just choose a preference and practice practice. And it becomes muscle memory.

I'd rather use bait and chillax... 😁👍🏻
