Samantha kissing the statue made my day. I'm a gardening mom who always has our boys helping. These are the special moments that turn into the memories we hold onto. 💛
I’m about to plant 10 Butterfly bushes on my property and I’m so excited! And may I say Samantha Grace’s take on life is everything…always dress in style, take time to stop and smell the flowers and kiss the statues…and sing your way through the day! ❤
I love being a member! My husband is now watching the videos with me. He enjoys them so much. We are both retired so it gives us something to do together that's special.
What a blessing to see Samantha and Benjamin just hanging around you and Aaron as you guys are outside working. The time that you have with them is so precious and a joy. Just think of the videos that you can refer back to as the kids grow older. ❤😊
please bottle your energy and add it to your store!! i could sure use it... 😍love seeing the kids helping and Samantha talking and kissing that little statue, just precious!!! 🥰❤thanks for the video (an afternoon surprise!!) 🥰❤
😂😂 Your greeting tone when seeing Douglas “hello Douglas” reminded me of Seinfeld … ‘Hello Neuman’ 😂😂, wondering what trouble is ahead!!😂 Samantha kissing the statue… priceless ❤️❤️
Love your boundless energy and vision for your garden. The way you take us through and show us the things that catch your eye and amaze you every day speaks to my heart. At 66 years old, my energy has dissipated to the point that a lot of gardening doesn’t get done anymore. I am at the point where I am resting on my laurels of gardening wins. Thank you for sharing your garden with us. ❤️😊
Yes, i do mostly container gardening at age 65. My next challenge is my grass. Its filled with violets, which some find pretty, but i love lush grass. I did have an above ground pool in the back yard that is now gone as is the wonderful deck that was built around it. My sons worked and worked and got it out but under the pool was a large (15x30) layer of sand that needs some soil on top to grow nice grass. Im just taking it in stages. This year while planting my pots, i noticed a large number of carpenter bees but haven't found a nest. In previous years they put a hole in my picnic bench. I dont want them attacking my deck. In the next few weeks i have a new shed, a new fence, and a retaining wall going in so right now theres alot on my plate. I planted plants around my shed last year without thinking that would make the rotting worse so maybe next year ill build boxes. Anyway, thats my simple gardening. Im 4 blocks from the water in Maryland. It used to be a lovely yard but years of no time from working, raising 4 kids, spending weekends at sporting events or dance events let the yard get out of hand. Im trying to get it back. Last year I planted mini skirt hostas, lilys of the valley, and peonies. They all came back this year along with 3 other plants I didnt keep the labels for. I have one gardenia bush and another hydrangea to put in the ground but this weekend and next i really hope to assemble my greenstalk and plant strawberries, mint, and jalapeños. My son is growing tomatoes but not in. The greenstalk. i also Have bee balm seeds, wild flower seeds, and cleome seeds. And finally, i nipped trumpet flower pods from the lady I care fors neighbor and im going to see if i can grow them. Thats it from Annapolis Maryland⚘️🏵🌸
Me too! When I hear a lawnmower I go back to when I was growing up - lawns in my neighborhood being mowed Saturday morning and the scent of fresh cut grass everywhere. 😌
My goodness. The whole area with the Heebee statue is soooo beautiful. That Russian Hawthorn is gorgeous. All the creeping Veronica is amazing. I remember in videos 3yrs ago I remember you saying Laura, your planting on Mars. Again looking at the whole area is just breath taking. The kiddos are sooo cuuuute. I love how you accidentally cut the drip, and you are just, oh well I will get a cup link and repair it. I can't wait to see what you have in store for us all next. Many blessings. Be blessed everyone.💙💙🌿🌿🌿🪴🪴🪴🪴
Oh how I love it when you say "probably not today" that's when I perk up and really pay attention because I know it definitely will be today! I learn sooooo much from you when your cleaning up an area. I planted a good bit of the varigated iris that bloom purple and I have one bloom this year and it really does smell like grapes!🍇 Thank you!
Oh my goodness. Samantha was the hit of the video today. ♥️♥️♥️. I was drinking my morning coffee, watching your video and the mailman delivered my kneeling pad. It is amazing. I immediately kneeled down on it with my 70 year old knees and it is amazing. I can’t wait to get out in my garden with it. Thank you so much.
Lovely video. That weeping Willow takes me back to my childhood (80 years ago) when I used to hide beneath the canopy shielded from the world. Magical. ❤
I only started gardening during Lock Down and searched for videos to learn and found You. Been watching ever since. It’s still a life lesson of patience for me. I have a vision in my mind but plants take time to grow and fill out and bloom. 😏 I have killed many plants over the years but I am determined to get green thumbs. 👍🏽💚 Thank you for sharing your knowledge
Same here! I found gardening videos, and then the gardening itself, to be a calming element during the stress of lockdowns/early COVID time. I have NO patience though haha! But it’s a fun process 😊
So wonderful to see the cats getting alone, & Samantha comforting the lonely girl statue. What a beautiful, fun, entertaining & as always productive video. Always amazed at how inspired I am.
Samantha is the cutest!!! Love her giving love and kisses to the sweet statue! This is the statue Aaron gave Laura when they were first married or dating, if I remember correctly. ❤ LOVE the singing too! Great job on the editing on this video!!! So much joy!!!❤❤❤
I love videos like this when you just talk to us as if we're in the garden working side by side. It's a special gift you have to make us feel part of your life. Thanks so much for keeping company with us.
Hi Laura, Aaron and kiddos, Everything is looking so beautiful! You teach me a lot everyday! Lots of new fun changes going on at your place! Cannot wait for the addition of extended pond area. It will be so beautiful! Thanks for all you do!🌺
That grass drop behind as you say,'the cooling green gives you something to rest your eyes on' is so lush and so green. I love this time of year when the green color pigment in all plants looks so vibrant and peaceful. Or as you mentioned,'cool and at rest.' ❤
While I LOVE to see what your planting, when your planting and where your planting, I thank you very kindly that you are showing us what you planted and where you planted it. ❤️💐💚🙃
Oh my heart! Sweet Samantha talking with and kissing the little girl statue! Is this the one Aaron gave you years ago? When you don't have a sister, you find one on the lawn! Even before clean up, your gardens are amazing. Phoebe is stepping out!
So happy to see Samantha Grace and Benjamin so grown up I having seen them for a while since I had a problem with my computer Lots of hugs 🤗 🤗 Laura love all of your Vlogs and your tips 👍🏻…thank you for sharing 🤗 “GOD BLESSE”🙏🏻😇 “Happy Mother’s Day” For You,Your Mom, & Your Sister 💐💐💐🤗🤗🤗
That Creeping Veronica is going to look so INCREDIBLE when they're all filed in, I can't wait to see them in full creeping mode! Samantha kissing the statue was just so adorable! 😘 I miss Russell following you around. I just can't warm up to Douglas the way I did with Russell. I'm reminder of how fast time is flying every time I see your garden. My has it grown! Your property OBVIOUSLY makes the surrounding properties more valuable.
Love how Benjamin and Samatha love helping you in garden. They learn so much about your garden and retain all the knowledge you are teaching them. I remember babysitting my twin grandsons and every summer as soon as I’d start digging in the garden they’d have their little noses in the holes I was digging looking for worms or the rolly roly polys. They called worms squirmy wormies and announced each find they made. It kept them busy for hours, and we all had lots of fun. 😍 😍
Kid's play area is going to look amazing. How about decorating the play house with flower boxes? Maybe add a small covered picnic area, cute benches for the kids and their own little gardening area where they can grow their own plants? Lots of peonies and hydrangeas and canopy trees and flower planters. And of course a sandbox with a lid so that the cats can't into them. A path around the play area so they can bicycle and have fun. Love what you do for your kids. ps. don't forget the hopscotch 🤩
Laura, your videos inspire me every day! Just when i think I’m gonna take a break from planting, you give me ideas and inspiration to get back out there and make my garden even more lovely! Thank you!
Love love love these videos, new gardner here and you and hubby are the absolute best. I’ve learned so much so thank you. Beautiful gardens you guys have. ❤
Laura, your channel is a breath of fresh air for me. I look forward to your videos everyday! Been a follower for a couple of years now and must I say I am loving EVERYTHING you’re doing on your property!
I love my MM Penstemon! It is definitely a favorite in my perennial garden! I love seeing the sweet little souls in your babies! What a blessing to grow up surrounded by so much love and beauty!
Samantha what a sweet heart kissing the statue, so adorable 😊 you did a beautiful job with a weeping willow as usual. I love your garden, can’t wait to see the next tour. Thanks for sharing with us your gorgeous garden😀
I loved seeing you in one the the “original” flower beds.. I always loved when you would plant that space up & honestly, I miss it a bit! lol.. kind of like the chicken coop flower bed. However, I love, love all the new spaces too! Samantha Grace giving her little statue friend a kiss and hug was the sweetest thing ever 🥹😊♥️
For some reason, this is one of my favorite videos and I don’t know why, except that it’s just like an every day in the life of. seeing the kids come and go Samantha kissing the girls to you push me right over the edge but Leah get Miss Molly, Leah oh my God I have to find a space in my yard for that that is just unbelievable. I love how you talk and how you get things and get it taken care of, I think of your plans to get to have you get so excited over plants that are popping up. I feel like I have a sister I get the same way when something is starting to bloom at my house. Thank you so much for sharing your love, gardening and your family. I hope you have a wonderful day.
I love that he is turning all the orcs to stone! The children are so beautiful and angelic! I learn so much from these videos Thank you for posting them. But I had to laugh out loud when he said that!❤
Oh my gosh, same! I had a “fort” under our willow & would spend hours there. The rest of my family would be enjoying our swimming pool and doing other activities, but I preferred to be under the willow tree by myself. 😊
Your hair looks beautiful Laura! As does your garden! God bless you all and ☦️ many prayers 🙏🏻 Nurse Judi in Scottsdale AZ and Eucharistic Minister ☦️ 🙏🏻 💙 ❤️
I enjoyed the editing and music on this video so much! The details in the editing and all of the different angles when shooting are much appreciated and enjoyed!
Wow I can’t believe I’ve been watching for you about 8 years now. Give or take.. I started watching your channel while you lived on this house. That’s wild to me. How has time gone by like this?
Loving this video a bit more than usual. I really appreciate when you highlight the amazing plants in the background. Samantha and the statue was the icing on the cake.
You make it all look so easy., when we know hoe much work is entailed. Days just fly by, don't they! Love seeing more of the kiddos with you. They're so involved which is great. Love Samantha kissing the statue...lol. And the happy girl just singin' away, while Benjamin is being the protector...lol.
The best part of this video was Samantha kissing the statue. ❤ She is just the most precious child. Love how you dress her and fix her hair with bows. Too cute! Of course I always learn something new with your videos l. You are so talented and explain what you are doing so well. Love the Weeping Willow has a mullet!😂 Have a great day! ❤
Samantha Grace is so adorable. Kissing the statue brought a smile to my face. Love watching your videos no matter what the content. But...when Benjamin and Samantha Grace are in them, that is icing on the cake. ❤
Wow! Miss Molly is gorgeous. I love butterfly bushes and gerber daisies oh and roses of course. Daffodils I love to see in spring to start the season with a bright smile.
Lovely! Laura could you do a video for those of us who are budget conscious. How do we get the most bang for our buck when there aren't as many bucks to go around this year...???
I cant believe how the prices in our nursery here went up this year!! Shrubs that were 35.00 and 40.00 last year are 50. and 60.00.this year! I am SO glad I filled my beds several years ago !!😮
😐 Seen a landscape designer use a raised bed area to develop a source for shrub plantings....so u assume she let them get to a certain height, pull to where want them and replant the nursery bed. 🌱🌲 Wonder if wildfires affected any companies
Samantha kissing the statue made my day. I'm a gardening mom who always has our boys helping. These are the special moments that turn into the memories we hold onto. 💛
I noticed that too so sweet!
So sweet!
I was going to say the same!! Such a sweet moment!

I’ve never grown out of that…and I am 66! lol. I have also never grown out of enjoying making a mess and attracting dirt….
I love being a member! My husband is now watching the videos with me. He enjoys them so much. We are both retired so it gives us something to do together that's special.
Laura telling us she gave her willow a mullet made my day. Truly, funnest most quirky way to describe the type of tree 'haircut' given. LOVE!
Business in the front, party in the back 😂
Cut my hair anyday!
It's stupid the way she cuts it

Nice to see Russell and Douglas so close to each other.
Anyone seen Cheddar lately?
@@DH-ku6qgwas just wondering where cheddar was too
Someone commented in the tour video that they killed him and that they knew the family. I don’t know if it’s true or not.
@@fancypinkg Not true. Who said it and when, since we just saw Cheddar recently in the greenhouse.

Samantha kissing the statue… priceless ❤️❤️
Hilarious. That’s exactly what it’s like. Douglas gets a very different greeting.
Who remembers the year Aaron trimmed the willow tree and Laura's shock when she saw his handy work? It was hilarious.
Link the video below please.
Samantha kissing the statue stole the show .. and what looks like pulling flower petals and planting them both children are so precious!! 🥰🙌
Do you ever just look around and go This is where I live!!!!❤😊

😐 Seen a landscape designer use a raised bed area to develop a source for shrub plantings....so u assume she let them get to a certain height, pull to where want them and replant the nursery bed. 🌱🌲 Wonder if wildfires affected any companies
The veronica under the birch is lovely.
You are joy! ❤
God bless you sweetheart❤
You and your family have been such a blessing to me for many years.
