I did not think the suit was that bad I'd give it a 7/10 but the other superman suits are way better though

I have a theory on why the Superman suit is so baggy, I believe its a callback to his mom making him the suit, maybe she made it a little too baggy kinda like in the Christmas episode of Justice League where it was with Martian Manhunter, and in that episode he said, I'll grow into it. Also this movie has a young inexperienced Superman, and maybe in the future, he'll grow into suit to where it fits perfectly, essentially growing into the hero we all know and love

It’s only baggy because they haven’t put cgi on the suit. Gunn took a big swing by putting the on set suit up instead of in the film suit.
I thought it was an experienced Superman, hence the Legacy title.
I think it's great. It literally has the best aspect of every suit. Cavill's cape, Reeve's trunks, new 52's textures in some areas, and the kingdom come symbol. i LOVE this suit

I love the colours, I love that his hair has the curl and most importantly I LOVE that he has the trunks. One element I don't like is the collar inspired by the New 52 suit (which I've never liked). I also could do without the texture on the blue.

I think the “baggy-ness” you’re seeing is just the fabric crumpling together in the front due to leaning forward. Try doing this pose in spandex and unless is ridiculously tight, it will probably look something like this.

I think the bag and material are perfect because Superman is the type of person you want to hug. He’s like a teddy bear and if it’s too skin tight or too metallic, you can’t get a good hug. He looks soft and that’s the way it should be imo

What I love about this suit, is the fact it looks like it’s made on earth. The Man Of Steel suit was a Kryptonian made suit. That’s why they’re so different. But I REALLY like this suit. It’s very different and it sets it apart from the others. Plus those lines make it New 52 inspired.

It looks so nice in opinion, im so excited for this movie.
I am pretty sure the reason it is baggy is because of his position, when he is standing up it is going to look nice and tight. I also love the trunks, and the yellow belt and the general vibrancy of the suit. Honestly if this was a picture of him just standing straight I think a lot more people would be onboard with this design, but I understand why James Gunn chose this picture, it just captures so much of the essence of Superman.

Usually, when they release an official photo, they're planning on doing an outside shoot where there's paparazzis. I wouldn't be surprised this week or next week. We get leaked set photos.

I had to do a double take cause I didn’t think this was officially posted but I definitely like it. Aside from the baggier look and the lighting, I really like the suit especially with the trunks!
In my humble opinion, I'm digging all the elements of the suit.
It's taken elements from the New 52 (pipelines and collar), the classic suit (red undies and belt), and the Kingdom Come emblem.
I know everyone is shitting on it for the pipelines, but it's always been a thing with the New 52 it was never an invention of the MCU. In the comics of the New 52, it was a nanotech suit, but obviously, they're not going with that concept, probably closer to how Man of Steel described the suit.
Really mixed on this reveal as a whole but im not putting much judgement or weight into this. This isnt official color corrected footage, he's bent over, the suit is scrunched, its battle damaged... they couldve shown the suit a lot better so i dont really have a definitive opinion on it as of right now. Hoping what I see though, grows on me! SUPERMAN IS HERE FOLKS!

I really like this suit. The wrinkles in it make it look more realistic, and I like that. They also make the suit feel more comfortable and not so tight. I really liked Bale's Dark Knight suit, and this suit really close to Bale's suit by rank. It looks badass.
It's Guardians of the Galaxy material. Looks homemade, but also looks like a mix between the New 52 and Kingdom Come suits!!! I love it! I would rather not judge the suit off of one image. I wanna see it in action. The lines on the suit are similar to the New 52 suit.

Plus, guys he's wearing this suit fr shoot. James Gunn clearly wrote this is a real photo. And the background is perhaps LED volume. Now surely they'll further refine it in post production. It'll probably look more skin tight
Really happy about the trunks, Superman suits just look plain wrong without them, the suit needs those red trunks to really break up all the blue, not just a tiny red or yellow belt.
I love the suit I never understood why people hate when someone does something different on and popular character when that’s the point of a reboot to do something so different and unique and plus this is the suit not in the movie with proper lighting and cgi and effects and cinematography

Even though I didn’t have high expectations for the suit I still expected something better than this. It really looks like CW quality. I hate making that typical comment but it really looks like that. While I didn’t like the Snyderverse I loved that suit because it didn’t have the silly trunks and it looked like it was of alien origin with the texture and detail it had.
the padding and lines on the superman suit make it look armored. I hope he gets a more traditional suit by the end of the movie keeping the red trunks.

Maybe. Nothing confirmed. I personally theorize Solaris but I could see it being Brainiac since James Gunn did tease him last year, and one of the comics the movie is based on is Superman:Brainiac.
I quite like the way it looks but I feel like it will look better when in motion.
I think this is his father's suit that he found in the ship he came in on, hence why it is ill-fitting. Never made sense that a suit was ready made for him for when he was grown up. He's putting on the suit for the first time as it looks like he's made a decision to go face whatever it is behind him. If it is the first time, then the battle damage/dirt means that it was worn by someone else before.

Superman(78) is one of my favorite movies of all time, and that’s still my favorite Superman suit; that said, this new suit feels like a downgrade from the MoS suit with the brighter coloring being the only improvement for me. It low key reminds me of a new 52 cosplay of Superman you might see at Comic Con.
Looks like a cw suit tbh I expected something a bit simpler and not as busy of a design with the piping/textures. I definitely dont hate it but cant say I love it either. Gotta see it in action in a trailer to make a full judgement.

So I just checked the comics and this is heavily inspired from new 52. Although it doesn't have the high collar neck.
But the colour and lines and boots are spot on.
