City Power tariff increases: Nqobani Mzizi

There's been lots of reaction to the decision by City Power to implement R200 prepaid charge. The Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse has called for the scrapping of the new fixed charge. OUTA says this charge will have significant financial repercussions on our communities, especially those who are most vulnerable.

They don’t have the IT infrastructure to give refunds. However the legal tender for service was in Rands so the refund should also be in rands.
