LOL I know right. If no expense was spared why did they even keep the 3.6? They would have put the 6.4L V8 in there instead. Would have been better than throwing it away on a turbo.
Dan Soderholm I agree with an off-road vehicle a supercharger I think would be a better option but that's not an off-road vehicle , the closest it will see to off road is a gravel driveway and it won't exceed 5 miles an hour because they might put a chip in that sweet little paint job
Why would they off-road it? That jeep has at least 50-60k into it all together. I wouldent even touch gravel in something that nice and expensive. Turbo kits are a bit cheaper than superchargers, and i believe that turbos dont require as much engine work to run as a turbo does.
Superchargers are great. But on the downside they take power from the crankshaft. I ran an Avenger Autorotor w/ intercooler on my 99 with 5:13s on 37" tires. With the all the mods, the jeep ran like a stock 4.0 on the highway with the help of the supercharger. Seems like a turbo would be the way to go for highway use.
I just paid 56k on jl rubicon and been offroad with it 3 times so far and it has dings and chips and its fine to dropp that kinda money on it and offroad it beacuse its an offroad truck and all the stuff add on it is for offroad why buy an offroad machine and not take it offroad they shouldve bought an convertible corvet or some like that not jeep the insane thing is making a truck thay capable lift axles shocks winch mud tires all premum shit and be oh i cant take it off the road it’s expensive well the whole purpose and why it’s expensive is because its for offroad and this shit makes the jeeps community look bad it’s becoming like fast and furious community who can fit bigger rims and more lights and bigger speakers get some for that for god sake utleast buy a sahara not a rubicon with all the offroad shit on it to not take it offroad People always say oh u never gon a take ur new rubicon off the pavement all cuz of people like those live in LA or something and think that jeep is a luxury car its gonna make me sell my jeep and buy a 4runner
If you have the desire to wheel your 50k jeep, then cool. Just me personally, i would never off road my daily, or anything worth decent money because i would be afraid to break something. Now paint chips and shit is all fun and games, but wheel too hard on accident and end up breaking your axle on your 50k daily driver, and that wont be fun.
131LennoxAve when off roading your tire's sidewalls flex, sometimes a lot depending on what kind off off roading you're doing, this actually helps with traction as the tires go around obsticalls. This happens in mud bogs, more so in rock crawling. A 37 with a 17 inch wheel (the largest diameter wheel I'd go with) allows for more tire compliance than a 37 with a 22 inch wheel. You're also at more risk of damaging a 22 than a 17 because of the reduced sidewall.
@@ForOdin Ehh. People act like if you have 22s it's absolutely impossible to off road. I used to have deep dish TISs mounted on 37s on my two door JK before I sold it, I live in Colorado and it handled all of the trails I've ever taken it on. From Lost Canyon pass to Medano pass and everything in between. Did they get scratch and beat up? Sure, but it worked and I like they way they looked.
That absolutely makes no sense to me why would somebody spend thousands of dollars for off-road stuff and you'll never go off road with that thing trailer Queen
Bryan Rothe, this featured Jeep is the NFI Empire company show piece to demonstrate the many options NFI offers for your custom built Jeep needs. Same as every truck builder who has their sparkly clean jacked up diesel at every truck meet. NFI has an entire fleet of Jeeps & trucks that get down right dirty!!
If NFI has a whole Fleet that can get down and dirty I think most of us viewers would much rather see you blasting through a mud hole then running around on the street with a trailer Queen won't you please show us some of the down and dirty vehicles you got and I look forward to see some of them on next time 😁
You save about $25,000..... whoa whoa whoa hit the freaking breaks what the hell are we building here? Any joe schmoe can pull a good hemi out of a junkyard and put it in for a small fraction of $25,000. Its been done thousands of times there's plenty of write ups there's absolutely no reason and able bodied man can't learn how to do this themselves.
So, I cannot comment on the future but so far does not look like it has even seen dirt. Typical of every Jeep around my area. Tons of off road money spent but all to pose.
Jordan Hilman, this featured Jeep is the company show piece to demonstrate the many options NFI offers for your custom built Jeep needs. Same as every truck builder who has their jacked up diesel at every truck meet. NFI has an entire fleet of Jeeps & trucks that get down right dirty!!
Nice jeep , I am going to pop the bottle and going straight to the turbo and the breaks and leaving it stocked out . That's the deep end of the pool I can be at because its never ending to hooking the Rubicon. + the Breakout Harley I have money is money
Awesome build! Coming from a cammed vette with full bolt- ons I'm new to the Jeep community with a 2020 Gladiator. I'm surprised by how judgemental this crowd is. No one ever said, "That vette is pretty quick. Too bad it's a 'mall race car." Some people build their vehicles to make their commute to work more interesting because between that and spending time with family and kids that's all they have time to do. Lol It's sad to see how closed minded some can be in 2020. I digress. Keep up the awesome builds! Curious about the reliability of these kits given the high compression of the 3.6.
Nice build done right all those jeep owners doing 40s a lift all the extra weight and nothing to the engine thinking gears will solve the problem sorry people gears alone won't do it extra hp & torque from engine upgrades is what's needed
The way a simple brain works: big wheels/tires and hosepower. No upgraded differentials to deal big the bigger tires, cheap on the breaks "upgrade" and the dumb ass ridding without seat belt with no doors. The passenger was smart to wear his. When I ride without doors you feel like the jeep wants to throw you out when turning. You need bigger disc and calipers to deal with the lift and size of tires. Going cheap all around but claiming no expense spared. Birth control please.
jimmy jk332, thanks for watching! This particular Jeep is their company show piece meant to demonstrate how far you can take your Jeep build with their company. They have several Jeeps in their fleet specifically for rock climbing and off-road use. We just decided to feature this one because of the recent turbo upgrade.
In what world does a Hemi swap cost $25,000 on top of what a turbo kit installed by a shop costs? A Hemi is $1500 at a junk yard. That turbo kit is easily $6-9k. So you could have a shop install a Hemi or LS for the same as just the purchase price of the turbo kit.
A turn key Hemi or LS3 is about 30k. That is if you want to keep all your factory functionality as far as electronics go. If you dont care about any of that then, yes 9k might be in the realm of possibility but none of your gauges/cruise/etc will work.
Dude, you have no idea what it cost to run a Hemi or LS in a Jeep. Find me a shop that will LS my Jeep for 9k and post the link here. RPM Extreme, Bruisers and Motech are both well over 20k for a turn key swap.
abortioncritical Novak does a lot of TJs, but still expensive. If you can live without AC/Heat, you can do a Hot Rod swap. Less electronics to deal with. I’m leaning that way for my TJ build. But my JKU, I’m looking at a 6.0 LS kit, so it’s factory. I’ll do it myself and hopefully come in under 15k. Future plan...subject to change...lol
Too each his on.However with the size of the wheels and tires and turbo kit you should put on a 6pot calipers for the brakes the setup your running really isn’t good if you pack in some passenger you are going to get some serious brake fade.one more thing never take that Jeep off-road
If you want to see your truck on Truck Central, send us an email! Info: ua-cam.com/video/HMkOZvHVx90/v-deo.html
Where's the off road video.
I do!!! #JTRSPARTACUS
"No expense spared" first mod is a turbo charger and first reason is "the cost savings." Ironic.
Chris Sharp 😂😂😂😂
LOL I know right. If no expense was spared why did they even keep the 3.6? They would have put the 6.4L V8 in there instead. Would have been better than throwing it away on a turbo.
Or the Smitty Built rear bumper lol
Exactly what I was thinking.. how about a hemi plus a turbo hmmm
dude I was just gana comment that! inexpensive exhaust? saves ya 25 gs... like wtf with the title haha
Hey Joe we have the same last name. Fallon!
Awesome!! Why not a supercharger? just wondeing
Dan Soderholm I agree with an off-road vehicle a supercharger I think would be a better option but that's not an off-road vehicle , the closest it will see to off road is a gravel driveway and it won't exceed 5 miles an hour because they might put a chip in that sweet little paint job

People always say oh u never gon a take ur new rubicon off the pavement all cuz of people like those live in LA or something and think that jeep is a luxury car its gonna make me sell my jeep and buy a 4runner

Whats the whole exhaust set up?
huwarhhh😭😭 serius aku nak sebiji😷
My question is, why start with buying a Rubicon when you are rebuilding everything anyway? Why not just get bare bones Wrangler?
Some expense was spared. Still rolling on stock axles.
You dont need upgraded axles at the mall.
Lol
Not to mention the turbo instead of a hemi
Expense was spared on the stock ass axles. 40s and a turbo on stock axles lol. Just another show Jeep. Suspension is decent though.
I can't take any lifted vehicle with 22 inch wheels seriously, they're just not usable off road!
131LennoxAve when off roading your tire's sidewalls flex, sometimes a lot depending on what kind off off roading you're doing, this actually helps with traction as the tires go around obsticalls. I cant either to small😂😂😂

Seth Wilcox I’m guessing you drive a ford
Car is awesome, but that grille is just not right...
ZeroFLM it looks like a sxs front end.
I'm sure it does wonders for cooling.....
What (car)?
I didnt see a car
It’s a grumper! Grill and a bumper especially good for zombie apocalypse
Hes so cool he doesnt even need to wear his seatbelt...

Bryan Rothe, thank you for the feedback! We will have to shoot another video. I was going to try to attend some of the events they travel to.
MALL CRAWLER! Just another poser ride... sad.
I love it. So what it has 22's? Do what you want with what is yours. All these Customization police, defeats the purpose of custom doesn't it?
No expense spared lol V6, Stock axles, no coilovers, no hydro assist, Smittybuilt bumper, stock type seats.
So many hate comments about it not being taken off road. Guaranteed most of those people dont have a nice jeep like that. Hahaha jealously is poison.

rather have the orange thing in the background
It's for sale!
lol, how much?
Whats it to ya. Not your money and you probably couldn't afford it anyway. Its not my cup of tea either but who tf really cares
That Jeep is on point 🔥🔥
Nice jeep , I am going to pop the bottle and going straight to the turbo and the breaks and leaving it stocked out . That's the deep end of the pool I can be at because its never ending to hooking the Rubicon. + the Breakout Harley I have money is money
No one can tell you what your Jeep is for, it’s YOUR JEEP!!! Nice work on the video and the Jeep.
Amen
Stupid mall crawlers
Named it no expense spared build. But still on coil springs and stock dana 44s. Just to name the few.
Lost me at Fab-fours
Preppy people would just drive those jeep like they know how to rock crawl! But in the end they will just cry and run to their mommy and daddy!

Damn that thing is sweet? Just out of curiosity. How much did the whole build cost? That thing is insane.
Nice build done right all those jeep owners doing 40s a lift all the extra weight and nothing to the engine thinking gears will solve the problem sorry people gears alone won't do it extra hp & torque from engine upgrades is what's needed
That is a nice Jeep
No mirrors?
U don't have to have mirrors st least not in some states.
Very nice seriously
It’s disappointing to see so many haters in the comments
That’s UA-cam... have to take the good with the bad
whats the cost for a turbo and can I put this on my 2017 jk 3.6
Beautiful jeep...
22" Wheels belong in Donks NOT Jeeps.
Jay mind ya business coming from a donk owner i don’t approve of this msg
I will pay you guys 50,000 grand for the jeep
The shifts sound awful. Did you guys tune the transmission after the turbo? Or can you not do that?

dream car bro
Beautiful!!!
So adding a turbo to a 285HP 3.6 liter V6 gives you 550hp ??? HORSESHIT
auto 👎👎👎👎
Very cool Jeep
You should fasten your seatbelt ????
Oh yeah just drive that jeep 80mph no seatbelt without doors bright idea... also lets see that thing "flexed out" lmao
The reds too much and the front is yucky but man what a badass Jeep and as long as he enjoys it his way, that’s what matters.
Thanks again Justin and the entire NFI Empire Team! I had a blast working with you guys.
Good-looking Mall crawler

I want one
Cool 😎. Wonder how turbo holds up long term. OlllllllO #JTRSPARTACUS
Nice!
I'm not usually much of a jeep guy... But dang !!! That is one sweet rig !!!
The exhaust note is terrible. The turbo sound is awesome. Interior is gaudy.
Aren’t Jeep people touchy about the grill?
Dang! Almost 100,000 views on this one!

I think those horsepower numbers are a gross exaggeration!
Tj's were the last of the jeeps
If you seen one, you've seen them all
beautiful
All I see is supercharger setups for 15’ +
Joe Stacks I need 15’ I assume the head is diff I know the mani is
Metal Cloak 4 piston shocks are sweet, #Autoedits...
6 piston shocks... I stand corrected
That is a sweet ass Jeep! 👍
Like any cool build... it's all in the details
Let’s put 40s on stock axles
The hood struts are pimp as shit!
40s on mopar 44 lol mall crawler.
Looks like it goes pretty good considering the size of tire!
letterpool until you see the size of the wheels
this is mostly driven on smooth surface road
edit: ONLY
What is the value of that jeep?
Do you still have the jeep
apocalipsies car
Come one dude you just said you chose precision turbo bc of it’s spool up time....just change the compressor wheel to a more aggressive wheel.
Thanks for the awesome video!
Coold
Too each his on.However with the size of the wheels and tires and turbo kit you should put on a 6pot calipers for the brakes the setup your running really isn’t good if you pack in some passenger you are going to get some serious brake fade.one more thing never take that Jeep off-road
I have to admit my comment was a little salty but your reply was professional and If You Needed Somebody to test your products out I'm that guy
NO expenses ,then you should have put a hemi in it!!🔧🔩🔧🇺🇸
No expense spared and rocking a Smitty Built bumper 😂😂
How are you going to even attempt to offroad with an open cold air intake?
What brand is the screen of the center console you installed? Thank you!
no expense spared, except on the stock axles
Broo please make a custom lada niva!I am thinking to buy a new one!
Nice jeep until I seen that boat anchor of a bumper
Ñice! 👍
Awesome so beautiful the last part of episide🥰😍🤩
Get rid of those big wheels and that stupid looking grill, and you have a nice rig.
Nice
Nice keep but should have went with a hemi or LS
I'd like to know more about the battery set up.
0:33 that Hummer ...spewed in my mouth a little bit
guy those aren't drilled did you even look?
Have this beautiful thing ever been off the road?
@6:52 "oh YEAH!!!" (I didnt hear shit, but I gotta make it sound good for the video) LOL
At about 6:50-6:51 you can clealry hear the blow off valve on the turbo, and I was acknowledging the torque pushing me back into the seat.
it sounds like an airplane passing by.
Put armrests on the exterior side of the seats
how much to build a jeep like that?
Can it be done to a 2018 Rubicon?
“No expense spared” still has Dana 44 not even a 1 ton d60 upgrade......
Good to see something nice in erie still lol
Curious why he went with a turbo kit vs. a supercharger with less lag?
Had a super charger in it, stage 2 turbo as faster
Chris your a SHARP guy
*bops head* yah could have had a v8!
