Teisco engineers: shall we just use a Gibson style Switch? No, here’s a couple of light switches, they’ll work 😂
i think the pickups are afterrarket

'Excellent job!
I was so glad to see you keep it as original as possible.
One hint on getting the intonation just right: Pluck each string, one at a time, while touching the string at the 12th fret. If you hear a beat frequency, (a warbling tone much lower than the string's primary tone,), move the bridge slightly until you don't hear any beat frequency. Do it across all strings until no string has a beat frequency and it will be perfect.
Good job it looks fantastic. Interesting that model used a nut and not a zero fret like most. I have a Teisco EP11T and I love it.
I would like to think that, somewhere, there are craftsman smiling, and honored, at your work on their instruments. Thank You for letting us look over your shoulder. Best Regards and Best Wishes!
You do fantastic work. That guitar is 100% better now and ready to make 50 more years of music 👍🏼
Fantastic job! I really like the tone of that guitar too!

Heyo! you probably wont see this but I actually got inspired to learn how to restore guitars thanks to watching your videos! I brought home this used blue stratocaster from our school that they let me bring home and it was so worth it being able to derust it and polish the frets! One of the best things ive done and it looks so good now! You're my biggest inspiration to do that so I hope you continue to make content like this I could watch it for hours thanks!
I want this guitar! I love these old Teisco guitars ❤
What a cool old guitar, glad you had the chance to make it shine again!😎👍👍
Most cathartic video I've watched all week,You have talent.
The pickups are not potted. Makes it sound different than your average newer style pickup.
Surprisingly good for Punk guitar at the end.
Great job. Your good at this. Love watching you work. Thanks.
Codeine have not been playing acoustic guitar on the current tour.

That turned out super good. Terrific outcome. Just one comment, have you considered re- chroming some of the metal parts? Love what you do.
Probably not worth the cost to have it done, TBH
Another beautiful restoration! Well done! Keep up the good work! 😊 👍🏻
Gold Foil
i tthough the fretboard was chipped but they are just huge markers 😅
Mighty fine job!! A man could jam some fat blues on that bad boy! Great restoration video! 🙌🏽
Yes he does good work but to refer to that guitar as a bad boy is a stretch, it sounds horrible.
Hi Friend, very interesting old guitar, beautiful, original and great sound ! You made once more an outstanding restoration showing how talented you are. Thank you for this nice video and see you soon...
Great sound? are you kidding me? that guitar was not worthy of his time and effort, it is a piece of k r a p and it sounds it.
Guiter tones like that cannot be found on today's guitars. The only way to get those retro tones is to do what you have done. Find an old relic from the 60's and restore it. Great job and super cool sounds! 👍👍👍🎸

Such inspirational work!! The control plates were superb!! Would you consider "yellowing" them with tea or something to make them appear more age appropriate? Outstanding work my good man!!
*Awesome 😱😱😱👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙏🏻🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🙋🏻♂️😃*
Guyatone! Beautiful and so cool!
fantastic work! Love to see you bring these back but this was such a unique guitar was thrilled to see it through!
great work, if you rewind the pickups they sound even better.
awesome, as always, love this channel so much, thank you, great work, friend!
Great restoration! I love you keep everything original. Also, I didn’t see you add the ground wire to the tail piece. Without that you will have a buzz. :)
sorry gents but that is not an acoustic guitar but an electric.

Those pickups are horribly microphonic but leaving them on the guitar was the right choice.
So it is not just me, my ears were bleeding.
I've heard about this vintage electric guitar called Teisco before and am always curious how it sounded. Excellent job restoring that Teisco electric guitar!! 🎸
Whoa, that started out kind of rough, but you did another excellent restore jo b. Love your work.
Nice. As always
Fantastic! I enjoyed every moment of this beautiful work of art! 👍
I totally thought those inlays were places where the fretboard had been chipped away!!! Nice work as always. I still wanna know where you get all these old rusted out guitars!?!?
I did too. I thought, oh man ,he's gonna have to replace that fret board. What a surprise when he cleaned it!
Same here!
When gluing in the frets you can use Vaseline on the fretboard to stop the glue on the open wood.
Yes, it worried me when he started lightly chiseling against the fretboard grain. Still, turned out very clean! Have to be careful not to dig a trench on either side of the fret!
Awesome job. Has a very interesting sound, too. I like it! 🤘
😊 this is my favorite guitar channel on UA-cam❤
I have love your videos and your talent in both refurbishment and playing. This is definitely one of my favorites. Thank you for saving these instruments and showing their capabilities and for the hours of entertainment!
Nice Codeine cover
This is not “full acoustic” guitar. It is “hollow-body electric guitar” without solid block.
A semi-solid body electric guitar with gold-foil pickups. Same family as Guyatone, same inlays.
Excellent work, that came out beautiful!! I enjoy fixing and restoring instruments too, and have a real fondness for the older Japanese instruments like this.
Excelent video as always thanks for share
Most probably this video is the best one so far, but I don0t understand why you kept the original wires, condensers and pegs. It's not worth it. You could have a better guitar with small improvements that would look like the original one. You can tell that those pickups are very noisy.
Just my humble opinion. Cheers.
Nice! Love the old Teiscos but tough to find over here..
I dunno if I like its too slick I think when it comes to vintage the less the better
This guitar is rockabilly all the way.Would have liked major chords or even cowboy chords for your demo but youre the artist after all.
Fantastic job
Nice resto job!! What do you do with the finished projects?
Very nice restoration job! 1:st class!
Cool guitar. Those gold foil pickups are probably worth as much as the whole guitar.
Is it real gold?
This guitar would sound great for jazz.
No it would not, the guitar sounds like shite, through no fault of his own.
@@briandeeley1599 Well, I guess because you said it, it *must* be true.🤦🏻♂️
@@EddieG1888 There are other people commenting the same thing, you don't have an ear.
@@briandeeley1599 Did you hear it playing jazz? No. So STFU.
Excellent job
Such wonderful work, as per usual :) Couple of questions, if you don't mind...
1 What was that gunk on the guitar? Tobacco residue? That poor thing must have stunk!!
2 Odd that the neck has two wires, and the bridge has three. I have never seen that. Is that usual?
3 When you were wiring the rocker switches to the pickups and the pots, which 2-wire wire went to the pots, the first set you soldered, or the second?
Thanks, and GREAT job!!!
Hello!, If u can, can you tell me where you get these junk guitar? I'm looking for these style of guitar but I can't find it on internet nor recycle shop, I would like to know!
Looks great, but it could use some modern pick-ups.
Might cost a little, but you could get some custom-made to fit the old covers.
That thing looks cool as fck. Nice clanky sound too. Great job.
What a beauty this one ended up being after you got through with it! Good work as always, sir.
Good Job, Bravo
Does that guitar have no truss rod?

I have to say, this was impressive! Nice work!
However i do have to add a bit of criticism, you need to work a bit on your routing.
By the way, nice playing at the end!

now this is the work of an artist.

What are those forked wrenches used to tighten down the nuts on the pots? Ive never seen that type before and they seem very useful!

Everytime this guy making soundcheck at the end of restoration he plays very strange nonmelodic atonic messy stuff :)
He's Japanese. Very moody.
What solution do you use in the ultrasonic cleaner?
guitar is made of wood right? wood doesn't rust.
Wow, you didn’t spray paint this one first…..
