They aren't fixing shinies. Don't give me hope. Unless they do something like gengar and garchomp where their mega shinies are the fix instead of fixing the normal form's shiny. They could give bad shinies mega evolutions that fix them that way but I don't think they will fix regular forms. If they could they would have done that already. We got combusken in gen 8 but nothing in gen 9.
