The dances that did back then are funny today for were fierce back then Dancing has come a long way. Forever Came Today by the Jacksons is still an awesome powerful song. The Jacksons are the BEST! Michael Jackson is FOREVER! Wherever you are my angel Michael I honestly love you for all eternity!
I got kind of confused at first, as that song was a Diana Ross song or thats who I first heard sing it. Then when it was introduced as a Jackson song and Michael started singing, I again became confused more because he sounded so much like Diana Ross, I had to replay the video. Now I am playing it again for the 3rd time and It sounds like it could be either one singing . I had never noticed before of how they sounded so much alike, its scary...I have always loved this song , now I have reasons to love it TWICE as much... RIP Michael and Much love to you Ms. Ross....and Thanks for the memories ,RIP Mr. Cornelius and much love to the Soul Train Dancers, thank you for making my young Saturday mornings bareable...
I wasn't aware of the Supremes version till many years after I had heard the Jackson's version. The first has a slower tempo and more dramatic flair as only the Supremes could do. The second version has a more 70's upbeat disco sound to it. The Jacksons version takes me back to that 70's family road trip form Cali to Lousiana in the 64 Buick with that reverb switch for the radio. Good times!
....he loved the ground Diana walked on....and he imitated her vocally....he of course was the better singer....but vocally he has said that he loved how pop her vocals were...
Loved this ever since the day it came out. I love when Jermaine come in with his part.

Not made favorite song, but it sounds better than the Supremes version that was released a few years earlier.

A Diana Ross and the Supremes track from the album “Reflections”…with the Andantes session singers on background vocals. Should’ve been a #1!
This is the shortened 45 version of the J5 cover. Check out the album version from “Moving Violations”. Outstanding💕
