ED-E, brave little eyebot, stood firm 'til the end against a true military robot in the Sergeant. Raul, experienced gunslinger, making quick work of the dangerous Charon. Even blowing him up in a bit of tactical brilliance. Jericho and Boone being surprisingly even, the old raider getting in a good win at first because of the assault rifle through the broken cover of the house, but with a straight line, Boone took the victory. Veronica vs Cross & Lily vs Fawkes 10/10 You can tell both BOS companions trained most of there lives for this. For the mutants its a battle of the tanks. Only Liberty Prime out performs Fawkes in terms of HP! RIP Lily
First off, Fawkes is insanely strong. Second I have a hard time imagining any follower from any fallout game killing Veronica in a 1v1 if she has her perks from the base game and dead money. She’s a rapid fire fist rifle with those perks.
I love the FNV companions more since their stories are fleshed out and had a lot of writing put into them, but like, Fawkes bro. My undisputed favorite companion of all time. A intelligent, vault dweller super mutant who has good morals. Like cmon. Not to mention what an absolute beast he is. He was using a regular sledgehammer, imagine that tank with the Gatling laser. He’s an unkillable one man army
Think a fully armed Fawkes was the best boss battle in fallout 3. And extra fun and convenient since could choose where to lead him when you wanted to start your fight 🤔 Have to find your own fun when deathclaws aren't that hard anymore lategame.
Should’ve made it FairPlay for everyone and made everyone wear the same armor lowkey the new vegas companions and NPC’s are more balanced then 3’s where but Charon is a absolute badass
I’ve always wondered when you do these; are the stats and strengths of different weapons and gear comparable between Fallout 3 and New Vegas? To me it seemed like lots of things in New Vegas were much stronger than in Fallout 3, but that could just be my mind playing tricks on me and the bigger damage numbers and price tags.
From what I can tell comparing stuff on the wiki, the New Vegas weapons seem to be marginally better than FO3 weapons. But DR is a better defensive stat than DT once you get to late game gear since it’s percentage based reduction rather than flat reduction. So New Vegas weapons deal more but get countered by better defenses, while FO3 weapons outside of DLC and explosives get shut out by New Vegas armor due to lower base damage. In general, both in game stat wise and lore wise I’d say the Courier mid diffs the Lone Survivor. In-game because the Courier has a higher level, better and more perks, and access to a wide variety of perks and weapons that can straight up remove someone from a fight (And Stay Back, Super Slam, Compliance Regulator, the Sonic Emitters, etc). Lore-wise because the Courier is treated like a force of nature in the Mojave and able to single-handedly swing the ending for any faction or themselves. Fawkes, Dogmeat, and RL-3 are all intentionally broken in game though; they all have like 15,000 HP while the highest HP in New Vegas is 3500 with the X-42 Roboscorpion I believe.

@@lordpumpkinhead265 fair point, Fawkes is pretty much there just to sponge all the lasers and plasmas of all the Enclave lol. It's just impossible for him to die lol.
@@lordpumpkinhead265 i still do want to see NV companions with all their upgrades though and see how they will fare with the other FO3 companions.
Lovely video! Very nice 😊
It's because fallout 3 companions are tank af because they can die in game
The fallout 3 companions have a stupid amount of health, I think Fawkes has 15000
It's because fallout 3 was actually realistic? Your not gonna 2 shot a super mutant brute with a car bumper sword buddy, maybe in NV
Jericho vs boone was great it was they were think how take out each other moving, all the time taking cover geting protection on a ruined house, great match.
jericho is a tactical companion, give him cover and he solos everything.
boone is a sniper, if jericho is out in the open, jericho doesn't stand a chance.
No way Veronica killed a dude in power armor.
Butch was a follower. That’s hilarious
Veronica vs Cross & Lily vs Fawkes 10/10
You can tell both BOS companions trained most of there lives for this.
For the mutants its a battle of the tanks. Only Liberty Prime out performs Fawkes in terms of HP! RIP Lily
Bro where is fawkes gatling laser
I bet Fawkes solos every NV companion... Try it!!!
Also maybe try a Fawkes & Lily vs The World battle lol
Dog meat and fawkes have obscene amounts of health I think it was to make up for the fact that you couldn't equip them.
nothing can beat that super mutant from fallout 3
The companions in fo3 are broken, i remember trying to kill fawkes and dogmeat with a fat man and it didnt work
This was so cool
You killed Rex with a console command
I like to see the legendary creatures from fnv face each other or fallout 3 dlc enemies vs fallout new vegas's dlc enemies
Should have given them unique versions of their weapons from their respective games
Think a fully armed Fawkes was the best boss battle in fallout 3.
And extra fun and convenient since could choose where to lead him when you wanted to start your fight 🤔
Have to find your own fun when deathclaws aren't that hard anymore lategame.
Fawkes at 15:49 😳 (watch full video before spoiler)
Bro you need to update this video with one that is more balanced, no car explosions and give each companion their preferred weapon, this is so skewed.
Should include the DLC companions : )
FNV's companions are way more interesting.
Should’ve made it FairPlay for everyone and made everyone wear the same armor lowkey the new vegas companions and NPC’s are more balanced then 3’s where but Charon is a absolute badass
Fawkes slams everything lol
I don't understand. How do you make these hostile towards one another?
Lily vs Fawkes. Fawkes with his sledge (Fawkes super sledge) no brainer. Lily is down. Further Fawkes has his gatling laser. Sorry Lilly.
fo3 companions weren’t essential so the devs gave them more health, new vegas companions are essential so they have less health
How did you put both fallout 3 companions and NEW VEGAS companions in the same format?!?
Tale of Two Wastelands
I don't believe it,rexyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!no!
Fallout 3 OG companions are sick Dogmeat and Fawkes all the way
any chance for companions vs factions?
Hey there guys! Quick question: Is there like a tutorial for NPC battles in Fallout?
I want to do something like Veronica and Lily in the Second Battle of Hoover Dam or Cross and Fawkes taking the purifier back and I wanted to know if there was a way to do that
@@drrafa4031 I have a tutorial on how to make them! Check it out!
@@RiotNpcBattles Sorry for the late reply but, while the tutorial I found on the channel helped with characters, it didn't explain how to stage places or events like the Hoover Dam
How do you do that? Is there a way to clear the area of NPCs or do you just save before doing it?
@@drrafa4031there’s a mod named community wasteland project that removes all npcs in the wasteland, idk if thats what he uses in his videos but its pretty useful if you want to clear an area and add your own npcs
I'd be curious to know how it'd effect the outcome if the NV companions had their perks. I could only identify Raul's ghost vaquero outfit associated with his rate of fire perk..
Why Raul have his quest completed?
Fallout 3 is superior no question.
