Hiking in Japan: Winter Hike in Mount Akagi

In this video, I'm going to showcase Mount Akagi, show you how to access it, and introduce some of the basics of winter hiking.
Mount Akagi is a mountain located in Gunma Prefecture, Japan. It is known for its scenic beauty, particularly its autumn foliage. The mountain stands at an elevation of 1,828 meters (5,997 feet). There are several trails leading to the summit, and the climb is considered to be relatively moderate in difficulty. The mountain is also home to several shrines, temples, and other cultural sites, making it a popular destination for history and culture buffs as well.
ACCESS:
First, go to JR Maebashi Station from Tokyo or other areas. From Maebashi Station, it is convenient to use fixed-route buses or nonstop buses.
Tokyo Station - Takasaki Station ( Shinkansen or Bullet Train )
Takasaki station - Maebashi station ( Local train )
Maebashi station - Fujimi onsen - Akagiyama Visitor's Center ( Bus )
