I'm not sure I'd call the buffs MASSIVE, but its certainly nice. Most lists as is, will probably be able to afford another enhancement for a character unit. I think I will try shining spears in my crusade campaign though, I told myself if they come down below 100pts I'd give em a try.
why is nobody talking about how good lynx is? I took two last time I played and the literally obliterate everything they shoot at, combined with avatar of khan its very strong combo. At 180 points two lynxes are imo better than two fire prisms
Kind of hard to move around, ability makes them vulnerable because you have to fire and fade afterwards to keep it safe while prisms can safely shoot through eachother, and I think lastly it’s about to go to legends. Having said all that I actually think it’s phenomenal in a very fast aggressive list that wants to force early pressure.
I've been posting on Proxy's videos for ages praising the Lynx. It's a fantastic unit. With auto advance 9" and assault on its main gun movement isn't an issue, 23"! Was 30" in 9th ed! Hiding it is a problem but, with 16 wounds and a 5+ invuln. it's very survivable. Give it lightning fast reactions and it can soak up an awful lot of firepower. It's guns are powerful but they can wiff on damage as they're D6 not flat 6. But that makes them more fun, and less feels bad for an opponent. It's a lot more versatile than the Fire Prism as it can be used for move blocking, objective grabbing and screening (due to its size). It was 155pts on the index release which was insane after being 220 in 9th. I've picked up a pair of Prisms for when it gets sent to legends. But I will be gutted when it goes. My pair have always done great work for me.
I was surprised voidscarred didn't have different price for 5 and 10, i.e. 75/160 or 70/150. You get a lot of powerful specialists at 10, at 5 you have just one special weapon.
Just starting Eldar, split the Eldritch omens box and getting combat patrol, may get up to 1k with some other stuff but waiting on the refresh for 2k. No changes for my units but nice to see a buff
The only model I have, that got a point decrease, is the wraithknight (and warlocks, but I never run them in conclave). I will now proceed to be "that guy" and squeeze the knight into a incursion list.

I also think the bike conclave could have gotten a more heavy handed buff, and I still question if some of these things are going to be effective at all. Corsairs are still a bit of a nothing unit imo, and as someone who plays against lethal hits chainsword spam a lot, I still don't think I can justify a purchase on a wraithknight xD I mathed it out against Crusaders once, and it'll kill the "scouts" and maybe a couple marines before going down so meeeh. 90 point spears might be an interesting pick now to Ingress and pick apart some backmarkers. The investment is getting low enough on those to start checking them out. All in all I'm happy to try out some of these newly buffed units and see how they do again!
They buffed sanguinary guards probably as the new models dont have wings. They have to reduce the costs to make them sell more. I love the old wings they had. So good. I make kayvaans vanguard veterans with those.
Where is the info about the yncarnee? Can't find where it is mentioned that thing bout the center of the base. And what the exact implications of that chagne? Does that mean that if there isn't space enough for it, the Yncarne can't use its ability?
It takes about 1-2 inches off any potential charges the yncarne will make. Luckily, it retained the as close as possible part of the rule so if you can't place the yncarne over the center of the last destroyed models base you can adjust accordingly.
None of the units buffed I tend to use, so my current army is currently unaffected. I would have liked some points drops for 10 man Aspect units, as they still only contain 1 Exarch.

I need help with the yncarne rule you mentioned. I haven’t played the model yet but should I be playing its special ability different from how the app rules play? It just states as close to last model as possible out of engagement. Are you saying that if I can’t be on the center of the last model I can’t use the ability?
The unit that died while surrounded ect, yncarne would pop in outside the shell of enemy models, 1.1" away from them at the closest point from the dead unit. That fulfills the requirements of the ability as it is 'as close as possible, outside of engagement range'.

Why did they nerf vanguard veterans? They got to stop nerfing space marine stuff that arent a problem. Prices meed to vary per detachment. Ba assaults should be more expensive. Not space marine. They are useless in comparison.
Wraithknights are completely useless right now. They do not have the output to orevent poi ts and are not good enough at scoring points. In an editiom centered around scoring points the wraithknight doesnt score. That is the problem. That they work in non competitive is simply a bad excuse. Anything works in a "for fun" game. That is irrelevant to the balance of the game.
They are pretty awesome and as a matter of fact they can score if played to their strengths. OC 10 with support means that they can’t get obj stolen out from under them. The Skathach wraithknight has been competitive for a while and I think the regular wraithknight is still pretty decent. Not every single unit will ever be ultra competitive, I’m beginning to think you hate fun lol 😆

Thanks for the points buffs GW, but none of the units chosen will help our current WR.

Their rules are just not good enough to warrant the points. 5 man wraiths don't work. The reason 10 is so good is because you get more bang for your buck with Phantasm and Fire and Fade. Also a spiritseer Is worth it in 10. In 5, they get wiped out before he can resurrect any, and the lethal hits Is way less impactful on 5. Wave serpents don't do enough, and most things that want to use them, just run on foot. Falcons going down is nice. As is the Fire Prism. However the 30pts you save if you take 3 of either doesn't buy you anything due to 10th having a terrible list building design. The main buff to Aeldari is other factions being nerfed. However AM didn't get any hits, and they are a very hard match up, in addition to being a popular army. So I think we are still in a very crappy spot.

Tank Commanders got the "squadron" keyword, meaning they can now order themselves, as well as get [Lethal Hits] vs monsters and vehicles.

I like to think of the Spiritseer only costing 45 points in a 5 man in the wave serpent due to the decreases! I'll try it out for sure.
