One of the biggest things that Turkish people are proud of is seeing people who love Turkey and Turks and :) you made a Turk happy ..Greetings from Turkey
We visited Turkiye twice and fell in love with it. We covered Ankara, Trabzon (Uzungol Lake, Sumela Monastery), Kars, Ruins of Ani, Van, Erzurum, Diyarbakir, Sanliurfa (aka Urfa), Cappadocia (hot air balloon), Eskisehir, Antalya, Demre (place of Santa Claus), Olympos Ancient City Ruins of Lycia, Boat tour of Kekova (Sunken City), Marmaris, Denizli (Pamukkale / hot springs), Izmir (ruins of Ephesus), Bursa and ofcourse Istanbul. Traveling through Turkiye, we thought the buses were awesome. European side of Istanbul is nice but Kadikoy (asian side of Istanbul) has its charms as well. We hope you guys will enjoy traveling Turkiye as much as we did. Love & respect from Bangladesh.
@@Hunterbay872 we agree, Van was a hidden gem, the castle was one of the biggest we have seen and Xerxes epigraph was very intriguing. We do plan to visit a third time and visit Mardin, Mount Ararat, Nemrut Daag (Nimrod's Mountain) etc. Lets hope we can make it someday soon.
I was born and raised in Istanbul. I watched your video by chance and said, "I wish I could forget all I know about Istanbul and come here as a tourist for the first time."

Turkey is the most beautiful country of the world, I was there with my daughter 2weeks ago We fell in ❤❤ love with the people and country!! We will return next year !!!!!
Guys, it's the best travel video I've ever seen! My hubby and I are flying to Istanbul in two days, and having watched your videos I've made a list of what to do and what to see there. You are amazing! Keep taking us places.
A wonderful vlog from beautiful Istanbul I shared this video to my friends and they really enjoyed watching it It was very professional Good luck my dear friend
The two big candle holders are from the Kingdom of Hungary , Suleiman brought it to Hagia Sophia after taking Buda. One of the mosaics depicting Empress Irene who was a Hungarian princess, the daughter of St. Laszlo of the Hungarian Kingdom.
I’m Indian, and we are currently in Istanbul for a vacation. We covered almost everything listed above and our personal favourite was the St Basillica Cistern. Somehow the video has missed Hamami Turkish Bath at Chemberlitas. It was the best sauna bath we had and the place is filled with history and legends. In fact everything at Istanbul has a history of not less than 500yrs! Amazing city, amazing people! ❤
I am going to Turkey next week, can you tell me about your experience with Hamami Turkish Bath at Chemberlitas? I am looking to find a hamam experience including sauna and bath like in a traditional turkish hamam.
This captivating video showcasing 10 incredible things to do in Istanbul has truly ignited my wanderlust for this magnificent city. Istanbul, with its rich history, vibrant culture, and breathtaking landscapes, offers an unforgettable journey for every traveler. The video takes us on a whirlwind tour of Istanbul's most iconic attractions, showcasing the city's seamless blend of the ancient and the contemporary. From the majestic Hagia Sophia, with its awe-inspiring architecture, to the mesmerizing Blue Mosque, adorned with intricate tilework, every corner of Istanbul exudes a sense of grandeur and historical significance.
I love watching your vlogs because you're the best at describing and showing what makes a place great. We went to Istanbul a few weeks ago and we were blown away by how awesome it was. It was beautiful, interesting, huge, hilly, the taxi drivers were insane and we most definitely want to go back. Seeing your videos remind me of how much we had left to see (we were only there for 5 days). Thanks again for the great vids!
Summer tourism has just started in Turkey. If you want to take a swimming break, the cities of Turkey on the shores of the Mediterranean and Aegean seas are really beautiful, I recommend it. Especially small summer cities such as Kaş, Akyaka, Fethiye.^^
but they're from South Africa. South Africa has very beautiful beaches, fauna, environment but for the atmosphere, they should definitely travel to Aegean or Med. Though, they've mentioned not having enough time.

Just a suggestion for those who want to visit Turkey. You can buy a museum card to enter all the museums in Turkey. It will cost around $100 but it makes sense to have it if you wanna go all of the historical places.

Am in Istanbul at the moment and the prices have shot up this year due to inflation - you said the Topkapi Palace was expensive at 500 lira, but as of January this year the price has rocketed to 1500 lira (€43)! It is unbearably expensive now which has made so many attractions out of our budget 😕 Thank you so much for these great videos, I love your channel!
Thank you for your recommendation of the foodie tour, we have just experienced it today and loved it! We do recommend doing it early in your Istanbul stay as guide suggested so many others things to add to our days here.
Thank you very much for introducing our country, our country carries the legacy of the Byzantine, Seljuk and Ottoman Empires. history, tourism, culture, gastronomy, nature etc. It is very rich in all respects, our people are hospitable and friendly. I recommend you to visit our other cities (Aegean, Black Sea, Mediterranean, Cappadocia, Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia).
I enjoyed your videos very much. I visited Turkey last year in September, it was a beautiful experience, l enjoyed every single day l was there. I went Istanbul, Capadokia, Bodrum, Izmir, Ephesus, Pamukale. I wish l could have stay longer. I will.
I stayed 3 minutes walk from Galata tower for a few days, and just FYI for everyone - its right in the middle of a hill. So if you want to go downwards towards Eminou or the touristy city center of Istanbul then you're a walk down, but if you want to go up towards istiklal street then its quite a steep long walk. There are subway entrances but they're either a hike upwards or a walk downwards. People underestimate the amount of steep upwards walking you have to do, but after walking just 3-4 days in the galata area, i sprained my ankle just due to the angle of my feet even though i had the most comfortable athletic walking shoes on. Conclusion - Stay near galata tower as little as possible just for the experience, then move somewhere more convenient and authentic.
Hi! I hope your ankle has healed well! For a first time solo-female traveller, do you recommend maybe 2-3 nights in the Galata area? Which is the most central and walkable area to stay in? And also convenient to all public transit? I don’t mind crowded areas; I feel more safe there.

Thank you for the great tip!! I did the Taste of two continents food tour yesterday after having seen your video when I was about to leave Dubai. It is a REALLY good deal and I highly recommend it!!! There was SO much food!! Really it was too much for me to eat! By the end I was just nibbling. The food IS delicious....but the best part...it is ALL so exotic compared to what you (probably) eat on a regular basis. Also, the tour guides are historians...mine had a PhD in history...her name is Hatar. Some of the food was to my delight, some of the flavors were not to my liking...but it was a VERY interesting experience! My tip....don't eat much at breakfast...I did and then I couldn't recover! Thanks ,well i like it U both have done fabulous job Some Qs Now Is Istanbul card easy to get &is only for traveling Wt about hotels is cheap or expensive pls want to know it And metro trains Finally Wt info do u have about museum (entry ,Availability &Time tour) Also wt abt Hajimustapha sweets The most famous sweets of turkey it is in Istanbul Tks 😊🙏🙏👍
istanbul rocks we love this country, so much to see, we love the " Maras Dondurmasi" only icecream you can cut it with a knife and fork, have gum tree sap to make it like a chewing gum, " Iskender Doner" yumm, " Chesnut Sekeri" Turkish 'Kestane sekeri" yumm, snack "Feta parseley Gozleme" 'yougrt "'Manda Yogurdu"
as a Turkish person, I didnt know much about the history of the hippodrome. It is actually a pretty magnificent building, unfortunately most of it is below ground level. There is a current project to reclaim and restore it, if it is completed, it would be something as significant as colloseum in Rome. You are right about the Obelisk, there is also a serpent statue there brought from temple of Delphi in Greece. IT is also about 3000 years old, left from the times of Plato.
I’m doing a cheap country tour while I build my finances. I’m doing one year in India and I’m more than six months into that. I had a short break in Nepal for visa purposes and I want to spend one year in Mauritius next. Istanbul looks like a very appealing option at some point. Your videos are always the best quality both in presenting and in the videography. Rhett needs to give us some tips.
I'm going to pass on the admission price of the tower too, when I'm there in May. I'll admire the view from a rooftop restaurant/bar instead, where I can get the view with a meal !
Loved your input guys. I’m from CPT living in Ireland and visiting Istanbul. What is the name of the restaurant you had that amazing soup. Winter here now and I am dying to try it tomorrow. Off to your spots tomorrow 🤗 Also …Up until now I always bragged Cape Town had the BEST coffee in the world given the variety of places we had. Well that has changed after my I have been here 😅

Who else thinks that the girl in these videos could be a big tv presenter/journalist. She has such a bubbly and charismatic personality and makes the videos so fun
Such a sweet comment🥹. Thank you for the confidence boost!🙏🏻❤️
Hello great video and very helpful thanks a lot, I have a questions , can we bring our drone from outside country and fly there?
Just to make it clear, blue mosque amd Ayasofya are free to enter since they are mosques. It is never with a price to enter a mosque
Bir yabancı camiye gidince paramı istiyorlar.

Beyram soup is the king of all soup in Turkey🤘
as a Turkish person, I didnt know much about the history of the hippodrome.
Istanbul is my favorite city in the world ❤❤❤
Just wondering if November is good time of the year to visit turkey ?
I’m doing a cheap country tour while I build my finances. I’m doing one year in India and I’m more than six months into that. I had a short break in Nepal for visa purposes and I want to spend one year in Mauritius next. Istanbul looks like a very appealing option at some point. Your videos are always the best quality both in presenting and in the videography. Rhett needs to give us some tips.
I like the balat area ❤ so beautiful houses ❤
Istanbul is the center of the world, even if you travel for 50 years, it is impossible to get to know the city.
The hotels are hit and miss there I’ve just booked the Sheraton city centre one but it’s half an hour away from the main area of faith
I'm going to pass on the admission price of the tower too, when I'm there in May. I'll admire the view from a rooftop restaurant/bar instead, where I can get the view with a meal !
Come again my friends, greeting from Türkiye🇹🇷 😄👌🏼
You must go to the islands of Istanbul, It's the best place of there.
