I'm not giving my Note 20 Ultra up. I'm almost got it paid for. And also I feel like that I'm making a wise decision. Yeah S22 Ultra is a better phone in certain features but those features are not enough for me to upgrade and plus I have a 512gb SD card that will last me for awhile and if I upgrade I have to pay more. I feel like I downgraded in the storage because now that I have 512 storage space and plus the storage space that came with the phone. I have more storage than upgrade. No!!! I will stick with my Note 20 Ultra. And I love it ❤️. And also I have the last note. Yea, S22 Ultra has the blueprint of a note but it call S22 Ultra. Point blank. But anyways keep on doing what you are doing cause I'm looking forward to your lastest video. Totally hear you. The trade in offer and promos got me to preorder because I'm basically getting a 256GB Graphite model, Galaxy Buds Pro, S-View Cover case, and Leather Case for $600 and trading in my S22 Ultra with a cracked screen If my screen wasn't messed up I wouldn't have bothered.
I'm with you. I've the note 20 ultra 5G with 512gb SD card. I ordered the 512gb s22 ultra just to see why the excitement. Of course I will return it before the 14 days trial period is over. The lack of SD card, the lack of MST feature, the note so great battery life 5000mha are not compelling enough to give up my note. Plus this note 20 ultra might be the last true note. Now, if samsung is able to bring a killer fold 4 with true note specs, better battery, SD card slot, MST and the mighty S Pen slot, then only then I will not hesitate to trade. Or maybe if the next S23 has the SD card slot, MST and better battery life with good speakers, then I'll trade. Peace

Right, most people don't keep their phones for 5 years but some do for sure. Also that feature is very useful for people who aren't buying the latest flagship. If I want to buy an older model because it's cheaper or has some features that were removed in the newest models, it would be very nice to have a good couple of years of updates ahead.

Nah, I cancelled my order for the S22 Ultra. Note 20 Ultra still going strong. I know I'll get the S22 Ultra Note later on although the difference between the two are not considerably major. Watching other brands still.
Bad mistake, you will only be getting security patches until next year 2023 and then no more on the note, the s22 will have 5 years security updates until 2027. I paid a difference of $232 with trade in...what a deal!
I keep on choosing the pictures to be better at the right side and thinking it was s22 ultra but surprised that label below of the pictures i'm preferring are from the Note 20 Ultra
Great content. My note20 ultra is only a 6-month-old brand new out of the box. In order to get what I have in my note20 ultra, I would have to spend at least 1,600 on the s22 ultra with 1b of memory, especially since the pre-order's are over. I only paid 720.00 with a trade-in of my note10+ and the SD card of 1tb cost me 25.00. So for my brand new note20 ultra, it cost 745.00, maybe when the snote23 ultra comes next year I'll trade in my note20 ultra. Maybe.
S22u seems to be getting complaints on its SD 8 gen1 processor and its overheating / battery life complaints recently.... For sure the hardware is an upgrade. If it was me giving my own honest suggestion, I'd say if one already has Note 20U, one shouldn't upgrade. But if one is upgrading from even older phones for reason of maybe 5G compatibility, then the newer device always the way to go (applies to almost any technology with continuous hardware and software updates). Even if I think note20u hardware may be more appealing to me for various reasons, I would never feel comfortable recommending it for new buyers. The main reason is that N20U does not even have the 5G full band support in some countries.

The update support schedule is a moot point if you're gonna upgrade after only two years. For someone deciding which one to buy right now, update schedule matters. For someone who already has a Note 20, they didn't even get to the end of their updates so if they really care about that, they should stick with their phone until updates stop and then get whatever is out at that time.

I can't decide. I have an order (512) in, the date just slipped 2 weeks to April 12th. I am tossing around the idea of cancelling. I got the 512 for $510, they gave me $850 for the Note 20 Ultra. My buddy got the S22U and he said it's not that much of an upgrade.....someone help me decide. LOL!
The only reason I did not switch to apple was I wanted to give the fingerprint reader another shot as the note 20 ultra I have drove me crazy. Thankfully it is far better and the camera for my use is as well.

You can get a Note 20 ultra on Facebook marketplace for around 500 o 600 dollars. Way cheaper than the 1300 hundred dollars S22 ultra.
