I never grew up listening to METAL before I played highschool baseball. Been playing since I was five but my coaches refused to let us listen to anything else but METAL. Slipknot was one of the first that played for 9 am workouts followed by Disturbed and Metallica and I can’t tell you guys enough how much these songs changed my life. Whenever I heard them I threw the weight harder and definitely became focused overall.

2009, my first Slipknot concert. I saw the entire band live, and complete, only a few years later the bassist dies and then most recently, the drummer. I cherish that concert, it was so full of energy and it was so fun, but they will keep going forward because it is their way.
