The EN VAs did an amazing job. I could feel the remorse when Jing Yuan was sentencing Dan Feng. Alejandro and Nicholas did a stellar performance.

I absolutely adore how adorable March was at the end. The "cheese" with the smile and the fact that Dan Heng just casually did it with his usual dead pan look, its just a very wholesome moment.
The Astral Express crew were in bubbles. They were the "air" that he breathed and kept him alive while he was drowning in his regret.

Ngl i think Cyyu is one of the most complete VAs out there. Like he can literally make a character be badass as well as have a lovely side to them.
"Double pay" pls dont be cringe. They're paid to do a good job and he did just that.
His voice acting during the boss fight was also top tier. His voice just hit different.

The reason a lot of people tear up without knowing why is because, in the words of Dan Feng himself, they are the same mirror of each other, under the same shadow. This short is literally about self-hate, learning to look to your past self and mistakes and still have the strenght to move on, to make your own path forward. Subconsciously a lot of people are going to get it due to the similarities in character design and powers. Dan Heng IS Dan Feng, but he already paid for the crimes of his past (shackling prison and banishment). He just needed HIMSELF to accept it.

The fact that Dan Heng is almost always posing in the March 7 photos breaks my heart (he also posed in one of the trailers for the game) He looks like a typical edgy character (first impression), but the way he interacts with the crew members makes him a very lively and realistic character. The Astral Express are the first people to treat him well, and he expresses his love for them the way he knows how. I like that he's quiet and unsociable not just because he's "edgy" but it's part of his character and a consequence of his past. He's just as able to care and love as other people, he's just a lonely boy who also wants to pose in pictures and live happily with his new family and friends. It all breaks my heart and I adore this character. Good luck to everyone who will be pull for him! 170 warps! Thanks for the reaction to this trailer, you were adorable!

I was surprised they had two separate VAs for Dan Heng and Dan Feng. Wonder if that was just to solidify the idea that they are their own people, or if there was some other less lore related reason.

They definitely different people(soul), reincarnation is not always mean you are the same people as the past.

The only reason why the High Elders have similar facial features is because they undergo trials for the new reborn high elders to look the same.

According to what was said in 1.2, Danfeng had a molting rebirth which isn't really a true rebirth. Its actually more like de-aging the body. So Danheng is a de-aged memory wiped Danfeng, but they are still different people, because different experiences has formed Danheng as a person of his own.
Different VAs used to express this difference, as well as the difference in age (DF is older and mature)
I love that Mina has reached a point where she's warning HSR only players or newcomers to the honkai series that a happy scenes are bait for throwing depression on everyone and that can't trust hoyo XD Truly a honkai player moment. Imy soooo loving the way they are handling HSR.

Bruh this legit made him my fav character, i already liked him before but this just made him my number one. also something i really like about this cinematic is the symbolism of like even if in your past youv made mistakes and messed up, what matters is what you do now and show that you can be better.

About stelle i think hoyo play fair for both caelus and stelle. Caelus had his time on next stop the star and interstellar journey while stelle got her time in space comedy and dan hang animation.
Most likely hoyo will pull caelus on female char more and stelle on male character to exploit the player.
The animation is so F****** GORGEOUS!!! Not sure if I'm going to pull for him, but if I get him while I'm pulling, sweet!!! But I'm more focused on getting JINGLIU, she is a must!!!
I'm honestly sad they didn't put this cutscene in the main quest itself. It would've made his involvement to the story much more impactful and let me care for them more.

Dan from this could easily be the mc with his past and there is still so much plot holes of his past to make it still interesting for the future. That far shot of the trailblaze group made it look Dan was the MC of the game, since Stella is depicted as the mc originally. The animations overall killed most animes shown today.

The way i think of his moment with march is a bit romantic in a sense is cause Dan's literally fighting his inner demons carrying all these happy and painful memories that dont really belong to him tormenting him only for the little ray of sunshine that is march as well as the rest of the crew to help him keep going. But also Making new memories that belong to him.
I would not mind if they end up getting together if i recall dan was actually the first person march saw when they saved her from that block of ice not sure tho.

First, Bib Heng's character trailer starts off with him writing his own calligraphy bio, which the style of the second trailer is done in. They introduce the 5 scions of permanence, but they only show 4 because his character trailer does his intro, and the end teases this short as well.
My theory: they'll just alternate between Stelle and Caellum for the cutscenes, so it is fair and everyone is happy.

I totally respect and support that you love to ship! Myself, I really enjoy the idea of them being more like siblings rather than romantically involved.
