I feel like that momentary silence at the end was him realising Yanqing will need to be able to take him down in the future, deciding to make it a fun bit of training without telling Yanqing what will happen if he follows down his path.
Right before Jing Yuan's Stand ultimate attack lands, the camera pans up to show two bright stars, and after Jingliu fades from the screen, there's one extremely bright star (probably a star the ship is orbiting). Seems like symbolism of how Jing Yuan became a legend after defeating his master. In the release trailer, the first scene with Jingliu has her unmoving in a pose which seems like the one used for a corpse in a coffin, while there's a crescent moon overhead. The second scene with Jingliu has her very much active while there's a full moon that starts to be covered by an eclipse. There's a lot to speculate about what that means, but I just thought it was interesting.
I'm excited for the chance to get her. Its such a great animation as well. I've not been dissapointed thus far with StarRail. Glad to see your also enjoying these! ♥
Maybe instead of Yanqing having to kill Jing Yuan or Jing Yuan having to kill Yanqing, it could be a complete twist. You're saying maybe he didn't actually deliver a killing blow to her in that moment and maybe he spared her in some sense. What if she returns to Luofu through some external force like the Stellaron Hunters or the IPC or whoever was the real head behind planting the Stellaron, and she is who ends up killing Yanqing causing Jing Yuan to have to deal with the fact that because he didn't kill his master when he should have, it costs him his disciple that he cares for and then he finally ends her after it's too late. It would be really traumatic and it would absolutely teach him massive lesson as well as potentially being the reason he retires from being general and decides to live the rest of his life in another way that he finds fulfilling in order to heal. I think that would be a genuine amazing story for him since he constantly talks about his disappointment with his position in life and how it's so tedious and boring for him. It would make him realize that he should have been appreciating every moment he had with the people around him and that it's time to make his life something he truly wants instead of what his duty requires of him.
Watch Jing Yuan get controlled by the Stellaron or stricken with mara, and us as the trailblazer will have to put him down on behalf of Yanqing because he's not strong enough yet. I can see this happening because we pretty much kill Cocolia, who is a major leader of the first planet Jarilo. And with Jing Yuan also being a major leader of Xianzhou, I won't be surprised if this entire journey just turns into us, the trailblazers, killing all the major leaders of every planet who gets controlled by Stellarons. This is also hinted at by the scene of Jing Yuan teaching Yanqing in the exact same position as his own master that he had to kill with his own hands.
My wish for Honkai is a limited banner version of Yanqing when he’s a bit older with more of his potential unlocked after training for years. He’s so cool, I want to know more about Jing Yuan, Jing Liu and Yanqing.
@@Sergio-gy3il Glory of being in the honkai universe, you can have multiple forms/alternates of a diff time or something all together. Hell people pointed out that Silver Wolf is just a different version of Bronya, so we already have that going on.
@@GentlemanMudkip the leaked one is a current 4* that will gain a new form (in history) and mihoyo will release its 5* version, it isnt a alternative version but the same history character but with a second playable character. so it isnt comparable to silverwolf and bronia. and we will playing with that character in the story mode next update the same as we played with otto/luocha in this version.

Just because Hi3 took 8 chapters before they got an animated short, means HSR also needs, they never thought of doing one at first but tried it and it works, now they're doing it every end or halfwayy of a major arc, it works in Hi3, so it just makes sense for them to do it in HSR either??? Jing Liu is an immortal, and we don't know if Jing Yuan actually killed Jing Liu at the end of the scene.
it's possible that jing liu is still alive and can control her curse, and it's also possible that she disappeared, so it would appear as if she died
