I think this animation was great. Something to note is that Dan Feng,Jing Liu, Jing Yuan, Blade, and Baihung were apart of a group called the high cloud quintet. I'm sure there is more information about that somewhere in the game if you want to look into them more.
Yinxing aka Blade mentioned that out of 5 people (the 5 from the High Cloud Quintet: 5 heroes during the big war) 3 people have to pay the price And since Jing Yuan isn’t one of em, Dan Feng is one that has to pay the price and Foxians live around 300 years (so she’s prob dead 😢) This means that the 3 who have to pay the price are prob Dan Feng, Jingliu and Blade himself
00:48 from left to right should be Jing Yuan (the Cloud Knight Lieutenant, last to join the group), Jingliu (the Sword Champion of the Luofu, leader of the High-Cloud Quintet and mentor of Jing Yuan), Baiheng (the Foxian Traveler and member of the Nameless), Yingxing (the Outworlder Craftsman, Blade; he is shown in his mortal form since he has white hair from old age prolly; also crafted his own sword and the weapons for Jing Yuan, Baiheng and Dan Feng IIRC) and the fifth member of the Quintet is Dan Feng (Imbibitor Lunae) also Stelle best MC confirmed
For clarification, Beiheng has probably passed away by now. Foxians only live a couple hundred or so years, and it's been a good long while since the days of the High Cloud Quintet - not even Fu Xuan's that old.
To be honest most of us were surprised by the myriad trailer bc they droped it out of nowhere while the animation was teased a week before is release but it make sense to get myriad 1st it was nice to know more about the long lore, here with this animation idk how to comment anymore that day was very emotional for most of us who been deep into dan heng lore story, wont lie i tear up few times, theres so much , is beautiful but so much sadness hiden inside 😢 for both dan heng and dan feng
