My Trees for the London Bonsai Show, The Bonsai Zone, June 2024

I'm preparing trees for the upcoming Middlesex bonsai show this weekend in London Ontario Canada. I'm going to show my Portulacaria afra forest, my Dwarf Schefflera and my Red Maple penjing.

I think all 3 trees look really nice, Shafflera is absolutely majestic! And one with the fisherman is is just so full of light, there is something very joyful in this landscape!

Nice work getting these trees ready for the show. Takes hard work always to get them in shape to survive the long trip to the show. Great little video.

Nigel, the scheff just keeps looking better and better. All the work you've done to promote taper and movement in the canopy has really "gnarled it up!"
Good to hear the London club is reviving their show. The more bonsai is put before the public, the more the art is demystified.
Hopefully more folks will be encouraged to try their hand at it. Our club recently put on our annual show, and the most gratifying comment I overheard from a visitor was "Wow, these are REAL!"
