Gerald Mc Clellan has beat him.
how did you get this rare training footage?
Rainy Day Boxing YES SIRR...HE WAS A REAL ONE!!
Rainy Day Boxing roy jones hands down the boxer that ever lived he had the quickest hands and coudlnt b touched in his first ten years as a pro boxer
The perfect combination of speed and power.
And intelligence
And skill
And charisma
And my axe
RJJ in his prime, probably the greatest of all time
I agree, in his prime as far as raw talent and ability he was absolutely the best. You a hater or just didn’t watch him in his prime if you don’t know this. He fought 3 times a year and dodged NOONE.
Facts
Kinda have to agree for raw talent and human execution of movement in his prime best I've ever seen and hes not my favourite boxer but objectively the best in his prime I have ever seen.
@@williesamdavis503 He dodged Dariusz Michalczewski.
Ali is my GOAT boxer, but As far as Who is the best boxers IN THEIR PRIME? Roy Jones and Mike Tyson has to be up there for greatest of all time. Both freaks of nature.
Probably the best allrounded fighter ever!! Speed, footwork, defence and power...Prime Jones was a freak of nature.
Ai8789 I should have stated that too😉
Before his time and one of his kind in his time............ period
I give that honor to marvin hagler but roy was a damn freak
AlanNades you compare hagler to the greats? He’s not even close to that conversation he knew how to fight one way
@@fatherwithfragrance6569 hagler was the best middleweight hands down also youre wrong just go watch the the tommy hearns fight and see how he changed styles 2-3 times during the fight
Uniqueness
Style
Grace
Charisma
Athleticism
Super human ability
Makes him the greatest boxer that ever lived.
Roy Jones jr is the man!
🏆Award- Winning comment 👏👐👏👐👏👐👏👐👏👐👏👐👏👐👏🏆
He was a physical phenom but without all that hard work and dedication, he wouldn't have been so dominant in his era. Throw him into any era and he would dominate. To beat two all-time great master boxers decisively in Toney and Hopkins is testament to how good he really was. Both those boxers were highly skilled and would be Champions in any era, it's just RJJ in his peak was on a level by himself. I've never seen anyone generate so much power and accuracy in both hands, with so much speed and agility. It must have been a nightmare to face him. It's the punches you don't see coming that knock you out, and with RJJ, he can do it more often than most people.
Also beat Hopkins with a bad right hand, yall musta forgot
Never going to see an athlete this gifted in the sport of boxing again
I laugh when people talk about Calzaghe, GGG, Ward, Bertiev, Kovalev and all these middleweights, super middleweights and light heavyweights of the last 15 years. In his prime, Roy was the baddest man to ever lace ‘em up. Made some bad moves after the Ruiz fight and fought way too long which is sad, but I remember the real RJJ and he was the best I’ve ever seen.
Pound for pound the best to lace em up
Thanx Slack..True RJJ FANS NEEDED TO HEAR THAT .ASWELL AS NEWBIES .SEEN THEM ALL IN THE PAST 40 YEARS AND ROY JONES IS TOP OF THE LIST..A TRUE FIGHTER...
I'm a RJJ fan but I'm pretty sure he wanted no part of Gerald McClellan
When he beat prime Bhop and James tony
i think it was the weight cut back down that messed him up, pretty bad move
I'm pretty sure most of us will agree,,in his prime Roy Jones Jr. was a force to be reckoned with. He has reflexive speed that he times perfectly with his footwork. In addition to that,,,,he had knock out power.
And an unbelievable chin.
Calzaghe fans would say he’d still beat Roy if both were in their primes. Roy was the best in my era imo
turtleturbo1025 uuuuuhhhmmmm,,,,,,,,,, no.😒😒. Definitely not. What most people don't understand about making weight,,cutting weight and so on is the fact it can wear you down faster than you think. Roy Jones Jr did it 6 times. Over a period of time he started dealing with the consequences of it.
James Richardson ummm yes they are saying it bc CZ went undefeated but I disagree too they jump to heavy weight then back down to fight tarver. I think jones was the best. He should in Floyd’s place cause he had it all
Prime Roy just doesn't get beat
About time your channel started to take in some subs mate. Well deserved, keep it up, great quality footage.
This aged well

Greatest of all time in his prime, real ones know
Word!
👊
This real one agree
Fantastic fighter but not better than sugar ray Robinson.
@@markhall6026 accomplishment wise, Roy Jones Jr will never be close to SRR, but the way RJJ showed dominance in the ring is nothing but impressive
The best boxer ive seen in my lifetime hands down no one comes close...
Sugar ray Robinson?
Anthony we don’t have footage of his prime tho :(
@@minds777
that just shows you how great and ahead of his time he way. I love how Roy and Ray both threw fast combinations and Three or more fast left hooks! They had superhuman abilities same with Ali Leonard
My all time favorite boxer... to me, he is the best to ever do it... in his prime he was unbeatable.
Facts bro

Rjj such a complete fighter
He was amazing.
My Favorite Fighter to Choose on Fight Night games.
Roy Jones jr my favorite to watch doing his amazing work MATRIX style

Hand speed, power, reflexes, slick head movement, tricky footwork, amazing punch selection, accuracy, stamina, and unpredictability. Roy Jones had it all, he’s the greatest fighter of all time!
living legend
One of the realest to ever do it, in any sport! 🥊😵🔥🐐
Today, Roy was in my boxing club. I had that pleasure to talk with him, he signed on my t-shirt and we took a picture. He is living legend, big champion. True inspiration for us young boxers.
GOAT
Who would just dislike this guy. He's fucking amazing. Best of the best...💪
Best fighter, HANDS DOWN
Roy was one of a kind .One of the greatest of all time!!!!
Greatest*
Rjj 1of the best that ever did it..respect
Best*
He is the most athletic and electrifying boxer to ever set foot in a boxing ring ,hands down. Its a shame what happened to his career after the fight with ruiz. But in his 20s and early 30s he was unbelievable. His speed, skill, footwork, power and lethal combinations were in impeccable and cant be touched.
someone send this to Roy Jones Jr! Well done Rainy Day Boxing! Thank you for the content. Inspiring Fighters and fans around the world. blessing to you.
A prime Roy Jones jr was superhuman, he would dominate the sport in any era
Roy Jones in his prime was the baddest man to every do it.
G.O.A.T.
Jones was a beast. His movements is quick.
Naturally gifted beast!
People have to understand that he is the best ever
No way dumby sugar ray and ali
ShootAtHer SpareNoArrows I would have to disagree with that
NotKing Ali well roy is definitely one of the best but both of them have better resumes than Jones
Likely the most talented boxer I've ever seen. In his prime he couldn't be touched.
Roy in his prime = G.O.A.T
There’s something about his style, it’s unmatched!
Roy was amazingly fast and skillful
in his prime..THE MOST SKILLED THE MOST TALENTED THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!!
ROY was a MONSTER!!👊👊
HOLY SHIT !!!!! Why haven't I ever heard of this guy before up until now ? I thank God in Heaven that I found this by accident , I really need to study Roy Jones Jr.
This channel motivates me everyday
word
I started watching boxing with my dad in the 70s as a wee boy. In all the time since I've seen 4 genius level boxers. RJJ, Mike Tyson, Naseem Hamed, Lomachenko
Hey what do you think about Josh Kelly I know it's still super early but just wondering
No Floyd???
Lomacheko with like 13 total fights? 😂 good 1
Pound for pound number 1 of all times
Another 5* video from Rainy Day Boxing. I could spend my night watching these. Brilliant
Jack Crowther Cheers mate! Appreciate the support!
Rainy Day Boxing i love them. Please keep em coming 👍
Real Definition of a Boxer.
One of my favorites
Loved watching Roy in his prime. Unstoppable
Absolutely phenomenal! One of the greatest to ever do it!
Phenomenal .
RJ Game as can be.....Never quit! That is a real fighter....
The reason he was so untouchable wasn´t only his godly combination of speed and power, it was also his long fuckin range and accuracy , which allowed him to keep the other guy on distance and deliver his punches from very akward angles that nobody was used to...
the GOAT!
Nice theres never been a fighter that can do what Roy did a physical phenom
Roy’s the best! Incredible talent! Incredible athlete!
I first saw RJJ one Halloween night back in the day when he was just getting started, don't even remember who he was fighting, but I was so impressed with this kid that after that fight, I followed his boxing career closely! That trash talking between he and Toney was crazy and Roy beating his ass warned everyone that there was a new sheriff in town! Thx for the amazing memories Roy!
Roy Jones is not only one of the best fighters of all times he is one of the greatest natural athletes of all times.
I listen to this doing on repeat at the gym and when I jog faithfully
I saved this video on my watch list for the right "rainy day" because Roy Jones. Jr. is my favourite fighter. Simply spectacular!! The best to ever to do it. RJ
RDB, thank you for all the brilliance. I hope you and yours are enjoying a magnificent holiday season. As always, all the best! 👊👊✌
Thank you for your words of encouragement and support Michael! Happy holidays to you too friend 🎄👋
that is called born with a talent
What a pleaseure to see RJJ in bis Prime !
I don't care Wat anyone says to me Roy jones n mike tyson r G.O.A.T
Hey that's crazy because that's exactly what I say. Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr are the greatest fighters of all time so your comment is great because it's 100 percent true
@The Real Jesus Yeshua I respect your opinion
Sephiroth they both are GOATS but you don’t care what people say.😏
Iron Mike and RJ mine as well 👍
Amaizing boxer. Very explosive punching
Roy in his prime was the best I've ever seen. He's in my top 5 of greatest boxers of all time. But, I think in his prime, he over trained himself a little bit.
Ghost Ridah AK47 over trained? How so? He was small even for LHW and he dominated the division
+waylon jones overtraining means you fatigue ur body to the point of exhaustion and dont let ur body recover idk if roy did that but just pointing that by overtraining you dont get bigger
Ghost Ridah AK47 u dont overtrain look at mayweathers training
StonedToTheBone
Size and over training don't have any correlation. Size comes down to genetics and nutrition. Also, RJJ had/has a narrow/athletic frame, and him gaining size would have negatively impacted his athleticism based on his frame.
I agree, going up to hw and back down to light heavy killed him
What a TALENTED MAN
Yes!!!! Speed, skill and pover! Boxing legends tv thinks that Roy Jones is the G.O.A.T.
I think that would be Sugar Ray Robinson.......173-19....imo.
fight fan me too.
He is a boxing genius
A real hero not like the social media clowns of today
Roy Jones Jr. is one of my favorits boxers of all time, I just love the way he fights. And cool video !
Dude in his day had some freakish biceps!!
Old School training. Nothing fancy like today's fighters, with the cones, sit up balls and high tech crap! Roy, Jr was/is AWESOME!
Super fast.
Imagining having a job like this, finding clips of fighters all day, putting them together and getting paid. Great work!
Been a hole two years already
That's some vintage classic. Thanks for posting
i love roy jones and i love prince naseem too both my fav
Nobody beats Prime Roy! Change my mind!
People can say he fought too long all they want but imho, the fact he just retired (66-9 w/ 47ko) last year (Feb 18) and was still fighting pretty damn stout competition... just adds to my admiration and respect for him. This guy is a damn warrior.
I'm also part of the group that says...
his prime on his best night, I just can't think of anyone dating back to Robinson who would've stood tall.
Roy in his prime was unstoppable. Nobody was beating him.
Fastest hands in boxing
Waylon Jones Ali, before the layoff.
Jahleel Sayers Yep, The 60's Ali is the most unbeatable boxer.
Connor Styles yea but he was still taking a beating i say most durable fighter ali hands down but roy jones in his first tens years couldnt b touched
Sorry, but that title still belongs to the one and only Muhammad Ali.
Agreed
Roy in his prime was one of the most talented fighters in history. Talent plus hard work equals success. No boxer today could've beat Jones in his prime.
Nobody like him, ever. That whole unorthodox style he created, with his technical ability, speed and power - he was a once in a generation athlete, but had the base of being one of the greatest amateurs in US history. Too fast to keep up with, but guys couldn't press him because he created such great angles and had such explosive power...guys would basically have to just sit in front of him and wait to get hit.
Royjj...Tyson ...Tommy Morrison..!!!!!no one better ./// new comers 2018!!!!heavy hiiterszzzzz...
I promise floyd training is second to none after seeing roy train
?
There will never be another Roy jones .... Untouchable
petfect body
Great vid on the pound for pound greatest
Ohhhhhhh shit you done put it together with that body head flow
The definition of a well rounded boxer
The true p4p king of boxing.

Cree
Roy Jones highlights are the best
Wow, I haven’t even seen some of this trainin material from Roy and I study him like crazy! Fantastic work on this one!
He is The G.O.A.T!
I don´t know if Roy was the best ever, there were so many great boxers in the past.
But I´m sure of this: RJJ was the most entertaining boxer of all time. His fights always were the most interesting, by far.
He's the tbe
He's without a doubt in my Top 3 greatest p4p
Who else u got in top3?
Thomas Durnin Ray Robinson, Jones Jr. and Tyson: All three were beasts in their prime
Trey Brown
Hey, those are my top 3 as well.
Great minds think the same.
This Dude was a Beast in His prime
Wow! I can only imagine his boxing skills combine with Muay Thai.
Uffffff invincible
