Thank you for the very thorough review on the Apprentice and the feedback! If anyone is looking for a pack designed around EDC, they should look at our FADE Collection of packs, briefs, slings, ect.
I carried the Vertx Gamut 2.0 for awhile. I didn't like how narrow it was and went back to my Cannae Gear backpack I got for like $40 7 years ago. I like a backpack to be able to sit up on its own and have a lot of organization options.
@@brockmannwells The sitting upright on its own is a real thing. This Eberlestock does that better than the other two bags, which is strange because it lacks a plastic 'back plate'. It's always hard to know what's going to work until you carry something everyday. Lol
the nail clippers being the one tool to carry comment: kinda weird but have you ever tried using the scissors on a multitool to cut your nails? i don't use clippers anymore after doing this.
I haven't, i can't remember if my wave+ has scissors but next time, if they do, i might try that. at the very least that would free up an extra set of nail clippers to keep in the car. lol

Been considering some of the FADE stuff myself. Y'all make excellent gear, thanks for commenting!
I bought one on black Friday… not disappointed at all. Better than some of my MR/Hpg
I have one too, also got it for $40. Great deal and bag for EDC!
Eberlestock had military contracts which if why it's built so well. Super high quality and it's not vertx expensive.
