Just wanna say Brightworks, watching your daily upload has become suuuuch a part of my morning routine, relaxing for 30 minutes with a coffee and enjoying a cool game. Keep it up!
require constant micro to be relevant. they really aren't expensive enough or impactful enough to justify the attention. It's, if I recall, less than 100 dps. Also, it doesn't really have the burst damage to make it worth it. Soon as your first shot lands, people will start moving. If you build an agitator, you want to spend a bit of apm early just to kill every mex, radar, and con turret in range, and then you want to forget them while you focus on your more important things, like your economy, or your tier 2 units. If you want to be shooting stuff from behind hills, just build a catalyst. that thing will reward you for the apm investment. And by the time you realize you should be moving, it may be well too late.
Cool to see how similar impact and eco both zow and god hates cowards had up to almost 20 minutes. With both having a very high os it's cool how it was so apparent that their skill really was very close too!
Yellow made an impressive showing considering red was crippled and orange was all but afk for 24:00 minutes. No matter what gameplan you are going for, that number is entirely unnacceptable.
APM indicator doesn't calculate APM correctly (unless they fixed it). Producing units count as APM even tho u don't do anything to produce them. I once had about 400 APM lmao.
Brightworks, can you point me in the direction of a BAR guide, just to explain the basic concepts (energy vs metal, t1 units and what teyxare good at, and the factions) or would you be prepared to make one? I think most BAR enjoyers are moderately versed in RTS general concepts, but its kinda hard to follow along playthroughs when the units are unknowns. Like the brief 'Pawns vs Grunts' you explain near the start of this clip, bu as a more comprehensive "beginners guide" :D Thanks for the content!

I watch before work while I drink coffee
these videos have legit helped me learn
Def the best morning routine with a nice breakfast!
The unbeatable sheldon ball falls once more.
Ticks ticks are how you deal with sheldons ot at least make them inefficient
I'm happy to see someone use Agitators. Nobody uses them behind hills and set to high firing arc though. I wonder why?

would love a few very short but funny games.
Next patch notes: Fixed Plasma projectiles passing through buildings

They have a 24 video tutorial playlist on the page.
Aside from videos. Just spectating games helps a lot.
I think if yellow had pushed south a few minutes sooner the game would have flipped on it head. He had the forces and south had almost none.
It’s all about scouting. When you’re playing, it’s impossible to keep track of what the opposing team have unless you scout constantly.
First :D
