tip: set your start keyframe, then just highlight "Motion" in the effects panel, use your arrow keys to move frames and you can just use your mouse for repositioning, saves moving between panels every keyframe.
Legendary bro!!
Scroll wheel's pretty nice as well
Thanks. Video explanation was hard to understand.
I didnt see the "highlight Motion" in the effect panel. Could you give me more details or a simple direction to find it?
@@bytenullified3113 At the top of the fx (where you animate) you just click on the word "motion" at the top of all the properties.
If you clicked the show guides icon and you can't see those two blue lines. Drag them out from the Vertical and horizontal rulers. And you'll see them✌️
literally tysm. have a good day!!
ty
Thanksssssss
Thank you!!!!
My man, I've been looking for this all day. Short and to the point, Subbed and I'll come back when I need something else. Also, Sam Kolder can kick rocks, doesn't even center his text
hahaha love the Sam Kolder Line 😁 Great to have you on board !!
Helpful tip: Instead of using rulers, in "Add Guide" menu you can set the units to percent and use the value 50(50%). This way the guide will be set at exactly the center of your video.
Thank you so much! I've been sweating about figuring out either how to use some Premiere plug-in I've never used or get fluent enough in After Effects to do this automatically. The project I'm working on doesn't really need this to be done automatically, and I thought it would be a lot harder than this! The rulers help a lot, as does the realization that if you click the Motion tab you can just drag the picture to create a new keyframe automatically. Thanks again!
This was so chaotic, i feel like i just walked into a conflict I didn’t even know existed. But now I know how to track objects! Thanks man 😂
Even though I know exactly how to do this, these tutorials of yours are just so fun to watch, love your work mate!
Brooo the support is sick thanks for watching them anyway! 😄
Follow me on Instagram for some fun stuff 🤍 @ peter.kae
Thx I dint know you could do this now I will be able to center my text and do better motion tracking
Thank you so much. I tried doing this for the first time to track a video for a phone wallpaper and it worked out perfectly!
Great to hear it worked well for you! 🥰 Just the best
Have you ever missed the center so drastically like Sam ? Like if yes.
Thanks for the tutorial! Btw: Your example by Sam Kolder is just an example of golden ratio since he aligned the text centered but slightly to the left because of the man in the picture - if he had placed it in the exact centre of the screen it would appear unpleasing for the spectator
I got educated on this and admit I was wrong haha
How do you render the clip once you're done keyframing?
Do you think there is a chance that Sam Kolder put the text off center on purpose because of the asymmetrical layout of the picture it is in? I have sometimes put a text slightly off center myself, because I found that centering it looked weird in the picture/video that it was in.
Got your point! I guess you are right. Just tried to find a reason to give him a little roast :p
Thanks so much! This is the best tutorial about tracking I've ever seen!
thanks a lot !! Appreciate you think so :)
Dude I love your videos! I’ve subscribed and look forward to learning more 😊
Love to hear Jonny !! There is more stuff to come so stay tuned. Glad to have you on board !
Great video! Thank you! Can hardly wait to watch more of your great content!
Thank you! I've been wondering how to do this for months! Most tutorial videos out there are so dragged on and boring, but you're funny, and you don't take yourself too seriously while at the same time giving the desired information. I subscribed and liked the video!
btw quick question: what font style did you use there for the text? 1:14
Heavy DEMO
Ahh legendary comment !! And thanks to Mr. Toxic for answering ☺️👍🏻
@@PeterKae Thank You So Much For Replying 😊
Nice, man! Thank you for short and clear tutorial! Love it!
the beginning made me laugh hard lmao, and great tutorial too: )
Dude this vid explained exactly what I needed. Thanks!
Thanks for the simple explanation. I've always seen this effect in videos I'm trying to emulate but didn't know how to do it in Premiere. I know that After Effects has an actual plug-in for motion tracking so thought there was one in Premiere. Didn't know it was as simply as keyframing lol
Its not often that I comment, but dude....
Your video's are clean AF!
Subbed!
Thanks! Moving the frame itself saves a lot of time.
So first I did my position mapping so it moves around how I want, and then I tried to scale in at a point where I had moved the position to the bottom right, but instead of scaling in to the centre of the visible frame, it scaled in using the centre of the _entire_ frame as the reference, completeling srewing up the position by moving up and left the more I scaled in.
Having no luck trying to get aronud this and it's getting frustrating.. :(
Thanks bro, great clean editing and straight-to-the-point! Super helpful
Hey thanks a lot!! Nice to let me know that :)
i have several questions:
1. why didnt my safe margins appear eventhough u have turned it on?
2. how do you make the keyframes automatically appear by moving the frames? i cannot even move the frame to make sure the object in my video centered?
did i do something wrong? hopefully you will be able to help me out and thank you in advance
This is great stuff! I thought you could only do this in after effects, but this is helpful!
yes and actually a bit simpler ☺️👍🏻 thanks for reaching out
Nailed it as always Peter! Thanks!!! 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
thanks brother !! appreciation goes out ❤️
You are amazing brother. Perfect video to learn about motion tracking. I am happy with my results. Thank you so much Peter!
I'm having trouble moving the frame with my mouse, I can only seem to do it with the position numbers in the effect controls tab
I know this problem yes. Try to click on the "Motion" part of the effect controls window first.
Amazing! Question tho! there are times when I don't want the camera to track. So I put a key to reset the starting point. But I have to switch between panels. Do you know how to put a keyframe point with a keyboard shortcut? because in your video the ball is constantly moving. But for my workout videos, I stop and move again.
I guess I know what you mean! Interesting question. Not sure if there is a shortcut for a keyframe. If I'll find out I might include it in a future tutorial. Just the best
Thank you! This was very helpful. Short and straight to the point. Will be saving this for when I need a refresher.
Hey Lysander! Glad you reached out :) Thanks for letting me know your thoughts about the video, that's always so appreciated. Just the best for your future way in editing
So many watched videos. This is the first to help me understand and entertain me at the same time. Thank you, Peter.😁
Thank you so much that feedback was very uplifting :)
Hey that video was cool ! I subbed without even thinking
dude that was a legendary move !! thanks for the feedback 👍🏻☺️
Fast and easy - love it! Keep up the great work! :)
Big thanks goes out to exo1337 aka van buyten 😜👍🏻👍🏻
@@PeterKae hahaha
Does premiere have a way to lock on a pixel or location of one layer so it can (follow a location of another layer you want to follow to) do this "for you"?
Unfortunately not yet.. Hope this comes soon!
helpful, thank you Peter! Since the video was posted 3 years ago, do you (or anyone on the thread) knows is there an AI tool that can do this automatically?
love that I'm not the only one having trouble saying those things after one another as a german
What 's the font called at 0:45 when you said "like" O:
What a G. Just found this tutorial and I am mind blown how easy you made it. Subbed for sure, thank you!
that’s a very appreciated comment bro !
I love these little details like 0:19 - Can you do a tutorial for that please?
YES! Just for you then bro 😄👍🏻
I love your content! Subscribed!!! keep up the amazing work. 😆✨💎
Much appreciation goes out !! That was nice to hear my dear ;)
Peter!!! I finally keyframed my first video properly because of you! Thank you brother! You're are a genius! And you're a comedian too! :-P. Much love brother!
Bro this is so nice to read even its a bit late haha thank you so much! I'm more active on IG @peter.kae in case you want to be entertained :D
This was great! Just what I was looking for. Can you give advice for how to scale without reducing the quality?
Great stuff, G!!!
nice work mate i wish u luck for future !! ❤️
Throwing shade at Sam made me laugh! Subscribed lol
somebody needs to put him in his place :p
Please help I can't find the ruler and other tools for this in my premiere pro
there is a little „+“ sign so you can use this one to find the rulers :)
THANK YOU SOOO MUCHHH I was trying to do this for weeks
ahh great to hear I saved you sone time Beyza ! Just the best goes out :)
Came for the tutorial but ended up with some laughs - great work, Peter!
Thanks Ginny!!
i somehow dont have the option show rulers when i click on the +, is it maybe because i have the 2018 version?
mhm yes this is just available on a newer version. I think since about 2019 or so :)
i've been looking for a way to auto track and follow the object (like the soccerball) so i dont have to go in frame by frame, is there even a way to do it? I dont want to track an element to another element, i want the camera to autolock onto a section of video that i choose as it moves about but idk if that even exists
Hey! There is no way to do it in Premiere Pro but you can do it in After Effects! I also have a Tutorial about that it's called "Camera to Face Motion Tracking" Jsut the best :)
@@PeterKae Thanks! Your a real homie, ill be sure to check it out!
my guide lines arnt showing, anyone know how to fix this?
Really cool video, well jokes. Would you suggest doing this in After effcts (as seen on ur other video) or Premiere pro? I'm not so comfortable with AE but P.pro looks like it'll take ages for a 30 second video lol
Haha yes you are right in Premiere it will
take ages for this length of video. For everything what’s longer then 5-6 seconds I would go the extra mile and learn the after effects workflow. ☺️👍🏻
I love the fact that I can keep up with you
😂 that’s good for you but what exactly do you mean haha
I personally love the way videos are short and direct to the point, it doesn't take long to watch but very informative. Saved time!
thank you so much for the kind feedback!! always appreciate comments like that :) just the best
Brooo clean and fast tutorial! You desrve more views and subs!
Thanks brother !! Im quite happy already but why not 😄 send me some haha
how do i get the video on the right side of the program. am struggling and feeling goofy
You can move the windows by clicking with the left mouse key on them and holding and draging them whereever you want. Hope that helped!
Thanks for the help man. This will really improve me videos
i love how half the video is him ranting about how text should be centered
Nice video, but you can also do it in After Effects, by using the motion tracker, without keyframing each frame.
Yeah, this is just for those who don't have both
I legit saw the amazing editing in this video and pressed subscribe , Like , I already know for sure u have GOOD content!!!
thanks for letting me know brother!! appreciate you wrote this :)
Wow such a short and useful tutorial 🙌🏼❤️
thanks Usama :)
Lol you earned yourself a subscriber. Love your wit 😂
That’s lovely to hear Derrick! Glad to have you on board 😇
Thank you for this man!!
i cant find the "Show rulers" and "Show guides" does anyone mind helping me with this problem?
There is a little „+“ sign right next to the other signs. Press on that. A new menu should pop up. Now you should be able to find it in there.
I have been trying to do this, but I'm just getting black bars after a certain amount of frames. Even when I scale it in, it's still giving me the bars. I feel my anchor point might be the issue, as I see the blue thing moving around the screen. SOS!
Probably put everything in a "Nest" after you've done the keyframing and scale in on the "Nest" then. Hope that helps!
is there a way to automate the tracking like in after effects?
Yes. You can automate tracking by clicking on the Pen Tool in the Effect Controlls Window, then draw the mask. Then click on the play button right next to the point „mask“ in the effect controls window
Pretty nice tutorial. Love the pace!
Great!! Appreciated! :)
Thanks bro, you've just saved me 100 bucks. Gonna like and share
This is cool and useful, but is it really moton tracking? When I think motion tracking I'm thinking about a feature where the software does the tracking/moving for you, by marking a tracking point in the video (in this case that'd be the ball) and let the rest happen automatically. I know this is a feature in After Effects.
Thanks bro, Now my content is up another level
Broo thats so nice! I feel happy for you.
ay this is so helpfull bro thank you!!
Thanks for great , short and funny tutorial mate 👍😉
Very welcome Sarunas! ☺️
Entertaining and educational. Just how I like it! Thanks!
Very welcome dude !! Appreciate the comment :)
@@PeterKae No problem at all! :D
love your vid bro!
That’s highly appreciated Joshua !! How did you found the channel btw ??
@@PeterKae i just switched from vegas to premiere then I saw your short tutorials
this was so helpful! thank you so much!!!!
Newbie question: how do you click and drag the video to move the position?
You have to click on the point “Motion” in the effect controls video first then go with your mouse to the layer window - click and hold with the left mouse key and drag the mouse. Hope that helped !
@@PeterKae Thank you!
I liked it after the roast session. That was funny A.F
😁 Thanks brother glad you enjoyed !!
great video! what's the music at the start of the video?
I liked cause you're funny and helpful :D
Thanks!!
Why sometimes:
1 I choose a keyframe for the first position
2 Choose a keyframe for the second
But instead of following the keyframes (let's say diagonally), it just goes up, and whatever it wants before it stops on the second keyframe?
Don't know if it's a bug or not, but it always make me track frame by frame even simple trackings 😭😭
nice...i like fast tutorial n straight forward....support from malaysia
The support from malaysia is highly appreciated brother ❤️☺️
Your content is killer bro!!
super nice of you man!! thanks ☺️👍🏻
how do you get the lines? this tutorial doesnt work for premier pro 2023 unfortunately
same
@@ProHuntZz so i figured it out if ur still wondering when u have the ruler and the grid thing selected the top and left sides u will see the ruler if u hover over it u will see a cursor that most would assume is the resize window cursor but that actually is how u get the lines it took me a minute to get it but thats how i figured it out i hope this helps
@@smittsluchianoTV haha thanks! I actually find out in a minutes same as you did haha but thanks anyways
This is very efficient tutorial, thanks!
I have no „ruler lines“? Can someone please help😫
Wow. My text has never been more at the center of attention. Great tutorial!
Still honoured every time you comment!! In the future I will make a video about "how to draw circles and not ellipses" (you feedbacked that once at a VAT video :D )
@@PeterKae Can‘t wait to see you ... circle back to that 😂
thank you, helped alot
Will this same process work when editing 360 footage in Premiere?
Yes man shouldn’t be a problem !! ☺️👍🏻
Your videos are hilarious and very helpful.
Thank you so much!
Dope Brother🔥🔥
Thanks 🔥
Thank You man!
Very welcome!! :)
short and simple. thank you.

awesome vid. helped me a lot!
That’s great to hear !!
Legend ty man. now i can post my vid after like 2 days cuz i only did 2mins xD
wow this actually helped
bro the explanation is perfect and it's useful but what you really need is to slow down while speaking and moving the focus. thank you
