• Vintage hawaiian music...
Vintage Hawaiian music is a beautiful fusion of various influences, including traditional Polynesian melodies, Western harmonies, and even elements from Portuguese and Spanish music. It's characterized by gentle ukulele strumming, melodic steel guitar, rhythmic basslines, and soothing vocal harmonies. The lyrics often celebrate the natural beauty of the Hawaiian islands, love, and the simple joys of life.
As for tourists on the beach, envision a vibrant scene filled with people from all walks of life, drawn to the allure of Hawaii's picturesque shores. You'll see families building sandcastles, couples strolling hand in hand along the shoreline, and groups of friends soaking up the sun. Some might be lounging on colorful beach towels, while others engage in water sports like surfing or paddleboarding. The air is filled with laughter, the scent of sunscreen, and the distant sound of waves crashing against the shore. Amidst it all, there might be a live band playing traditional Hawaiian tunes, adding to the laid-back atmosphere and providing a soundtrack to the tourists' idyllic beach experience.

The kids who grew up during this time have all mostly departed this world now. To those still here with us, enjoy the rest of your days in peace.
WDYM? Kids born in 1940? Or 1930? Anyways there's millions and millions, huge number of people born in 1940 still alive. They are barely in their mid 80s. Talking about people born in 1930 their numbers are lower but plenty of them around too! They are barely in their mid 90s. Being in the mid 90s is nothing special for today's world. So yeah. There's a famous painter from my city and my country. He was born in 1923. And he is STILL looking perfectly fine and normal and still active. He was a completely adult dude in these times of the 1940s. So not a kid from the 40s, but even young adult from the 40s. Went through Covid like nothing and i suffered GREATLY aged 39, in the late parts of the 2021.
@@Just_another_Euro_dude just because there is millions does not mean that *_MOST_* have not passed yet.
There used to be *_BILLIONS_* of people alive in the 40s.
Now there is only *_millions_* of people who were alive in the 40s.
That's over a 90% decrease, therefore it is *_TRUE_* to say that: "most of those alive during this time are gone now, and that there is few left".
Also: only 60% of people born in the 2015 birth cohort will live past 80, and 20% will die by 70.
Most people die in their 60s-70s on average. Living past 80, especially in awesome amazing shape/health is a great gift.
@@Just_another_Euro_dude if you were a kid in the 40s you're about 85-90, so your years are running out... And that painter is holding up well then, but most people don't live till they're 101
Amen 🙏🏻 in Christ Jesus
See you on the other side, on that most beautiful beach. God Willing, pray for I and all!!!
I'm 1000 miles from the nearest Beach let alone Hawaii but if I close my eyes and lean back in the sunlight with headphones in I am transported. Thank you.
What a crazy thought. Are you in the Midwest? Generally, I am never more than 30 mins away from a beach. The furthest I've ever been is 4 hours/300 miles when I was in Guadalajara.
Can you also hear the thousands of native hawaiians who cant afford to eat or a place to live in because foreigners stole their land and country
Womp womp😢😢
God damn Hawaii in the 40’s seems sooooo much cooler than Hawaii in 2024.
Lots of things seem that way these days
i dont get it
Seems is the right word. Pearl Harbor and WWII were probably kind of a buzzkill.
@@niclas9990 True, to say the 50s would be more accurate
Well, they're paintings....😅
But you are probably quite right 👍
ITS EITHER going to give a hawaii vibe or a fallout vibe

Out with that degenerate trash!
My parents were teens in the 40s. My dad died 10 years ago and my mom died a year and a half ago at age 92. They loved the music of those days and even would go on dates to see Lawrence Welk play at the Aragon Ballroom in Santa Monica long before his TV fame. Their wedding song was in fact the Hawaiian Wedding Song. This is so peaceful to listen to these songs and makes me want to relive those times.
videos like this make me realize i have so much to live for. this is just the beginning
Currently listening to this in a cloudy London while studying for an exam 🤣 hopefully the weather will be sunny someday...
I’m in the same shit hole
It won't 😉
That quite noice
Im 106 years old. This is dope!
I am 107 years old, I was already in my 20's when these music came out, and it was the rage of the teens. I could not catch up with it as I had my second newborn daughter, and these sounded anyways too loud and wild to my ears, accustomed to those sweet 30's music. Anyways, good for you wild teenagers!
I'm 7468 years old!
@@Wstarlights Wow, tell me about your life!
I miss me home Maui. Job took me away so long ago then I got trapped on the madland. Music makes me want to go home.
I love to listen nostalgic music especially in the 40’s from Hawaii. Im
73 years old . Been to Hawaii 5 times .
I've been to Hawaii 5x too it's now time for italy, Paris and Scotland
Getting ready for a date night in a beachside resort, this is perfect
How did it go?😅
One of those nights.. She's Puerto Rican Colombian 🔥.. i'm still here and going on another date in two nights.
@@PaulAllen786 sounds awesome, best of luck 😊
Damn that's crazy you don't realize yet
At first I was going to comment about how the sound of the waves were too loud, but it reminded me of the time I was sleeping in my apartment at the time in Lahaina and thinking about how loud the waves were crashing up against the wall 20 feet away. Great memories there, and happy Hawaii was the first place my family called home when they left their country.
I adore music from the 40s, more likely because my parents were both kids from the Depression and this is the type of thing they’d listen to.
请问您的年龄是?
my grandparents were into Dean Martin and Bing Crosby
Well...here's my summer drinking Playlist
Mam oh man this reminds me when I pulled liberty when I was in the navy. Fond memories!
Hooyah my guy, what was your rate? I was an IT, was a fun time but im glad im a civillian again
As an interior designer i find these songs very inspiring and it makes me feel dreamy while drawing or designing a space. I feel very motivated. It's like a journey to another space for me ! I wish i can see Hawaii one day. Greetings from Turkey !!
Sounds like such a cool job man. One day I’d like to do that or go to school to be an architect. I’ve been to Hawaii many times and one thing I can tell you is there’s nothing like north shore Oahu. If I could buy a house anywhere it’s there
"On a quiet evening, I decided to unwind with a book and some BGM. The music set a tranquil tone, making the fictional world I was reading about come alive. The characters' emotions seemed more profound, and the plot twists more thrilling, all thanks to the subtle yet powerful influence of the background music."
@@jazzwithlove8888 I can relate!
最近、寝る時には必ず聴いています。波の音がとても心地良いです。犬の鳴き声や子供の声に心が温かくなります❤😊イラストもレトロな雰囲気が素敵👍
My lil dog barks everytime she hears the dog on the beach 🤣🤣
Cute!
Really wonder if that dogs family tree is still alive
Love the music in this playlist. Thank you. I want to go to Hawaii during the 40's and 50's of course!
This is so beautiful. I just love the sounds of the waves and the little dog, not to mention the beautiful Hawaiian music that I'm fond of
Love this music. Wish I could escape from my mundane existence and venture into a different reality, like in this image. Thanks for sharing. ✨🌞✨
don´t we all?
don´t escape from your reality, create your reality!

This vibe made me think of the Endless Summer surfing documentary from the 60s. Watched it for the first time a couple years ago. It's great for some feel good nostalgia that takes you back in time to the coasts of Hawaii, California, South Africa, and the South Pacific :)
Oh Yessss!! LOVE THE soothing OCEAN WAVES with the beautiful VINTAGE HAWAIIAN MUSIC & gorgeous TROPICAL VINTAGE ART!!!
THANK YOU!!!
Do you know the Title of the famous Song at 5:58? It is one of my alltime Childhood (and still TODAY) favorites!! Much Thanks!!!
I see a reply for the Name of the song was posted, but now it is missing or deleted. Can you repost the name, please? Thanks!
Would you please post a mix without the waves ? It's distracting and too loud. Just a thought.... thanks I love the concept for sure
Same here. Very relaxing. God bless. Jesus loves you!
@@atelierrndthe dog bark woke me up lol
Those were the days...my friend, yet only a memory for a few... Aloha...
This is chilling me out. I'm super stressed about getting a new job, so this is just what I need 😄
I hate that feeling. You got this man! Something good always comes along. Some jobs are easier to get than others. Good luck!
same. haven't done an interview before
I can relate. Having to find another job as well. I just suck at the whole application process... But I wish you luck if you still haven't found a job!
@@weirdstashcat4437 Thank you so much, I'm actually on my way to an interview right now! Good luck out there!
I think i would like people in the future, re-awakened vintage aesthetic. Imagine somewhere on a space-a floating continent like Platform that was designed as a tourist spots. Like a vintage aesthetic one. A perfect vacation place , for a get away.
Feeling good music.
I'm a steel guitarist myself and I know how far those great players from the 1940s and '50s surpassed everything of the type, both before and after this great period, helped by the influence of swing music from the Big Band era. Also, the vocals were of the highest order - from the great steel guitarist/vocalist Bernie Kaai to the falsetto singing of Danny Kuaana, and so much more! The "Duke Kamoku" instrumental tracks included are from 1962/'63 and in my opinion too laid back - not in the class of the recordings a decade or so earlier. I recall that the sound of the surf was originally present here! But I feel strongly that your own addition of the surf on the earlier recordings offers nothing but an irritating distraction, which spoiled my enjoyment of the music as a whole. I feel sure those who can appreciate the high class musicianship would agree with me!
I like it..... it's about ambience: the music AND the sounds you'd hear if you were on that beach and the performers were there or just an old portable radio Dad brought. Did you hear the dog? Nice dog. Hawaii has many aspects and nuances .... where folks of all classes are welcome!
don't be so harsh and sore about it, it's music 🎶 to be enjoyed my friends, have a piña colada a joint and chill, listen and lay back 😊
Make your own channel. Lol.
I will never complain about hearing my mother ocean waving in the background, but they could have turned it down, but I'm gonna bump it anyway. This building needs culture. I'm giving them my parents' NOW. Lol🎉❤😂😅
My mother also played lap steel.
I live in Hawaii. I love seeing vintage picture of old Hawaii. Thank you for your creation.
I didnt grow up with this but I remember it being played as oldies in the 60s ❤
1993 here and I love this kind of music so much, it makes me nostalgic because I used to hear music like this on tv in movies when I was a child
The paintings are so wonderful to look at - together with the vintage Hawaiian music, the effect is magical!🌺🌺🌺☀️☀️☀️
Wspaniała muzyka. Rewelacyjna:)
Born in ‘88. Love this vibe so much.
I love the waves, the music and the ambiance it creates. You're a genius! xox
Love the background noise as far as I am concerned. See you after a nap.
I love the postcards. They are beautiful, classic, vintage. The people depicted looked very happy, the guys look very natural and carefree in their swimming briefs. The ladies, look very stylish.
AI art is getting pretty good at ~ vibes ~
Unfortunately looks to be AI generated. Best giveaway is to look at the hands, feet and faces that the AI always struggles with, or when you can see people literally melting into each other.
@@Hukkavei Personally, I was kind of enjoying the vague deviations toward pornographic reference data with the occasional giant bulge or grasped breast. It's fascinating how in the comments people are convinced they're seeing genuine art from the time. AI really is an efficient tool for producing pleasant slop.
the ai art 😭
Mahalo for sharing! I was just there a week ago. I grew up there.
Just got done with my vacation in Kauai. I miss the beach already 😗
Everybody's getting nostalgic over the music, and adapting the island life mindset, but I'm also over here using it as sleep ambiance. Been having bad brain days where my mental health overwhelm's me at night. This is the music that I've been listening to help me through it. Whether it be every day tasks, or falling asleep too.
The dog barks are a bit irksone and not as soothing, but it is what it is. Doesn't change the fact that this helps me achieve relaxtion and sleep.
I am glad it's helping you sleep. Did you try the exact same video minus the barking and waves? I remade it. ua-cam.com/video/yRw2MlG0AHU/v-deo.htmlsi=GgN3i3FFtQkC_kYE
If only we could time travel.... the world seemed so. much more lovely back then Im sure.
I would definitely travel back to 30's - 40's with no doubts, that was the the golden era....
16:11, LOL, ok, everyone's having a good time.

Amazing choice for the first sing. It immediately sets the mood!
i feel like im inside a spongebob episode every time i hear this playlist. so nostalgic.
Thank you very much from France👍🏻👏🇫🇷💖 Bénédictus 🙏🕊
Well I actually like the sound effects. It’s about immersion 😅 and it works for me.
(Maybe choose a softer wave pattern to appease them next time 😂)
I agree, a little less often & quieter 😎👍
I love the music but I find the waves too distracting and intrusive. Perhaps lessen the volume and lengthen the space between ebbs. It would go a long way to perfecting a more relaxing listening experience so the music takes more center stage
Beautiful music, pictures and ambience! Takes me to a place of dreamy blue skies and sandy pristine beaches... love the aesthetic :)
Timeless and perfect tunes to end my day. I take a deep breath, relax and savor these sweet sounds. Thank you...
So beautiful 😍 & peaceful ☺️

Hawaii's definitely going into my bucket list!!
Love this. Never been to Hawaii, but its the right vibes for a morning routine :)
