Italian Reacts To Finnish Supermarket Prisma

The supermarket sushi quality is pretty good. Especially those ones that you can grab yourself, they are restaurant quality almost i'd say
I think the term for this kind of store is actually "hypermarket" 😁 We have very many Prismas here, and they are all almost the same. Sure, there are smaller ones, that do not have quite as much stuff. But for example the one near where I live seems to be quite similiar to this one in the video.
I laughed out loud for you getting so pissed over the guy just walking past the salmiakki! 😄
The hypermarkets we have in Italy they do have a little bit of everything like Prisma but nowhere as furnished
Potatoes are to Finns like pasta is to Italians. They sell Italian first new season potatoes here in Finland, because Finns really love the first new season potatoes, but they aren't quite the same. The Swedish ones aren't the same either. They came to stores before the Finnish ones do. And if you want fresh potatoes, you grow them on your backyard. I wish there would be a video of all the things they sell in Finland as "Authentic Italian food-Just like your mother makes it!" so you could comment them. Those supermarkets, which sell "everything", tend to put specialized smaller stores out of business, which is kind of a bad thing. Especially in smaller towns. In larger cities there's usually market halls to by food and such products from the large store chains don't sell: "The BIGGEST MARKET HALL in NORDICS, Finland".
Unfortunately that is capitalism at its peak, i get what you mean
@@mauronicolo89 That it is. Usually those supermarkets are on the outskirts of the city, so to get there, first you have to visit a car dealership, which is probably located closer to you than the supermarket. Or just shop online and have the products delivered. The market squares have survived though. They are lively places especially during summer. You can find the local delicacies there: "Funny food 4: Finland, Helsinki food on the market", "Seafood festival in Tampere, Finland | walking and tasting food", "Kauppatori Savonlinna Market Square 4K ULTRA HD" and "Joensuu market square prices summer 2022". In Christmas time there are Christmas markets: "Tampereen Joulutori - Drone View 12/2022" and "Tampere Christmas Market 2023 (Tampereen Joulutori 2023)". Probably partly because the big store chains tend to be a bit on the generic side, the flea markets and second hand stores are popular: "Jyväskylä Flea Market, Finland(Jyväskylän,Suomi, kirpputori elokuussa 2023)" and "Buying Second Hand Furnitures, clothes & Household Items in Finland? Kirppis". Probably for the same reason this Finland's largest "village store" is a popular summer trip destination: "Las Vegas in Finland | Tuurin Kyläkauppa VLOG". This store tour is all about candy and other things good for you, salmiakki included: "FINLAND FRIDAY: SUPERMARKET TOUR pt. 2 Sweets & drinks!".
Thanks for all the suggestions!@@finnishculturalchannel
This Prisma is near my workplace so I often shopping there. This Seppälä Prisma is largest hypermarket in province Central-Finland. We have 3 Prismas in Jyväskylä. 2 other Prismas are smaller.
Like I said before. You are now a honorary Finn. Just because you like salmiakki
ahah
Prisma really is the 'Finnish Walmart' lol Much bigger supermarkets and Prismas are in southern cities.
Walmart on kyllä semmone halpistuote kauppa enemmänki. Prismasta saa sentää iha laadukkaita tuotteita
@@Juhani96 Totta. Jopa jenkkien rakas Target on huonompi kuin Prisma.
I bought hier in Lappeenranta (Finland ) on Prisma a freezer and refrigerator combination, because my old one did break down.
Prisma isn't supermarket. It's hypermarket.
Local co-op, buy everything and nothing "do you have the client card?". I once was lured to one of them by an 80-year old neighbour lady with a walker. Trying to find something to eat we got stuck in ladies' underpants and bras. Finally, having grasped some basics, we had to sit down on a mountain of potato chips just to calm down and call a cab. Overwhelming, the least to say...😅
Citymarket is more better than Prisma. Is a bit more expensive than Prisma!
for sure there was cheaper paper that he showed to us. works just well.
i would never use paper, i wash my ass.
I think the one he showed us was that "Just 1", which they claim that only one piece of the paper is enough to wipe your ass. So yes, it would be the most expensive 😅
