There is absolutely zero chance I’d go swimming in that foam. Decaying flesh, bacteria, fish poo and who knows what else is in it on any particular day. Yuck

Pirates shave with it.
The ocean is a massive carbon sequestration machine. More CO2 means more algae blooms as more food is available. When the algae dies it sinks to the bottom of the ocean or all washes up on an Australian beach somewhere.
