For everyone saying damage isn’t great. Keep in mind this is a 6-stack Titan team. The worst class for DPS as far as this encounter goes, and it looks like they’re knocking out the all Titan triumph as well.
Yeah and they can just use microcosm.
Better DPS, buffed by supers, and doesn't reset fire rate every time you have to dodge a beam.
There is no reason to use thunderlord for DPS.

This is awful dps. I did 6 void titans week 2 and we did more damage with us all on microcosm and snipes. Microcosm just got a 25% buff in raids and dungeons. Plus it frees your exotic and if you use it optimally you only need 1 reload that is pretty quick.

@@atlasfp thunderlord wants actium if you want to avoid reloading. It’s a swap exotic but that prevents you from using hazardous propulsion which is pretty good for extra damage.
This is a 2 phase for the big boss of the hardest raid, idc if there's better damage out there, worse doesn't mean bad

It's not bugged just think of the axe like it has a shiver strike cone once you throw it it gains the tracking tone and anything in front of it will gain its attention
It also makes for some hilarious interactions cuz you throw it at a subjugator and say the first two (which I've had happen) knocked them upwards into the air , that third one follows them upwards shoots behind them and off into the ether

@@flxmez2754 if it gets the job done who cares. Outside of master raids and specific encounters thunderlord is fine. Everyone and their mother has it so if I get a newer player in an LFG post I can always just ask them to throw that on if they don't have a decently rolled rocket yet. Plus you'd be surprised how many players, both new and regular, completely whiff rockets on certain bosses but can still track with hitscan weapons. I feel like y'all have like one, maybe two experiences with a really bad new player using it and having bad damage and then for some reason see that as an excuse to get mad at anyone using it. The funny part is y'all don't get mad about ppl using legendary machine guns for dps even tho thunderlord can out dps even a well rolled one.
@@ToyotaCorolla-en2mv literally any rocket is better than thunderlord. You can use the blue rocket out of collections that roles with cluster bomb and it does more damage than thunderlord. Rockets can’t come into this debate. I was talking about „easy damage options“ like leviathans breath and microcasm(which is way better for damage than tlord and doesn’t reset the firerate every time you gotta move)
@@ToyotaCorolla-en2mvit's impossible to whiff a rocket on the witness if you aim at his crit. he just doesn't move enough to dodge it, ever. so for you to say "omg don't suggest a rocket it's easy to miss those" while defending machine gun DPS is ridiculous.
I gotta say, doomed petitioner higher ground does it better. Plus, that way you can go all void and get bonus damage from your boot surges.
Microcasm is the current best DPS for non hunters
It amazes how any of you people enjoy playing this game. It’s like most of you believe if you aren’t doing 100% of the damage you’re capable of there’s no point in even playing.
When you are able to clear raids using weapons that aren't suboptimal & brainless, then you find that there is enjoyment in pushing the envelope with different better weapons that require more effort to execute for better payoff.
Many people like to actually get better at games and aren't satisfied with just shooting Thunderlord and then coping on the internet about how it cooks despite doing like 1/2 the dps of more optimal weapons.

But I’ve also seen about 37,000 videos of the still hunt celestial nighthawk combo, which just ruins any enjoyment of that being done. There comes a point where I stop caring if something is good if it makes me not enjoy the game. The point of games are to be enjoyed, and many people find joy in using what they like.
In a final stand where you might not have a super for dps or buff, might be down a player or 2, and lacking a lot of ammo, you're gonna wipe the team using this instead of a higher damage option.
You can use whatever you like with your team. But when LFG guardians are rocking really bad loadouts and basically needing a carry it's bc videos like this convince more casuals to use bad stuff.

Thunderlord had very good total damage, so in a long boss encounter like Rhulk, Witness, Nezzy, Tanik etc. Thundrelord will shine IF you can shoot ALL your bullets in CRIT hit. There is no point to be a izi apex tryhard when you literary have 30 second to do boss dps
It’s not very good, it’s passable if you have nothing else or just can’t be bothered to do an actual damage rotation. Thunder lord is good in a few situations but there is almost always a better damage option.
Being an "izzy apex tryhard" is what makes some of these chuds feel like they're good at the game 💀💀 they can swap like their little streamer they watch so they think they're a god
I wouldn't say it has "very good" total damage, especially compared to other good sustained damage heavies, like Microcosm, Whisper of the Worm, Pro Memoria, etc.
That being said, it's incredibly easy to use, and it isn't horrible at anything it does, so it's good for beginners and people who don't wanna put a ton of extra effort into boss damage (nothing wrong with that ofc, sometimes you just want something simple and easy)

Watch some guides and learn them the best you can with guides and jump in a KWTD and tell them you do kwtd just haven’t cleared yet. Most will let you stay and help you along.

Normally this is pretty average damage. With the right loadouts and builds my team typically gets his health down to between the E and W in first damage phase which lets us save supers for final stand. That being said, this looks like an All Titan run with 5 Twilight Arsenals and a Bubble. As far as damage goes this is actual great considering Titans are the least used raid class.

@@experiencemaster1743 had a guy with mothkeeper wraps + ex diris get us through day 1 herald, had 4 thunderlords deal less than an 8th of golgoroth's health in week 1 pantheon. Darci cant be compared because it's a meterstick. I bet you i can find a reason delicate tomb is better than thunderlord by weekly reset. Worst weapon in the game.
