I have been into the same problem and am thinking of buying this transmitter unit. Searching everyday if any video has been uploaded. Thank you so much brother
Man! Just when I was searching for motovlogging setup with this mic for weeks... You uploaded this! Doesn't this have that sync functionality where it turns on and off with the DJI cameras? I think I have seen some people mentioning in their reviews. You are amazing as always Happy miles brother!
U gained a subscriber harshit very well explained i use mic2 for motovlogging u can even use magnetic strip which will place the mic inside the helmet and keep it safe during rain season
brother, in the first shot, did you just clipped the mic directly on chin curtain right? i'm worried about attaching mine there due to wind noise..also did you enabled noise cancellation in that same shot?
At what timestamp in the video? At 00:00, I had it on the frame of the bike. But the inside helmet test was on the helmet chinpad, I had noise cancellation at low and there was hardly any wind noise.
Almost the same time DJI takes to connect to a wired mic. When you turn on video directly (through quickshot / snapshot), it takes about 10 secs of cam to take audio in from the mic, same with this one, connection is established in about 4 to 5 secs on average, sometime quicker and sometimes slower. Note that mic must be on for this, and in bluetooth mode (not receiver mode).
@ yeah that’s the only issue with dji. Before action 4 I was using gopro so in gopro the connection was instant even in quikshot. And in action 4 sometime it take 3-4 second sometime 12-15 sec. And one more issue is the outside noise/exhaust note is also very less on action 4 while motovlogging. One more thing to ask you is when we connect the mic mini wirelessly can we also connect wired mic and get audio from both mic??? Thanks for the prompt reply👍🏻
Hehe. I wish. No you cannot do that, or at least I have not figured a way yet. I tried, in my mind this would have been an excellent feature to have. Also on the wired mic not picking up exhaust sound, which mic do you use? I use a really cheap one and I have the same issue but my co rider uses senheiser with the same cam and its good, better than what his hero10 could churn out with an equally priced mic + media mod. Nevertheless, no such issues with the mic mini, it can very well pickup your voice and exhaust perfectly fine. Note I didn't process output for this video, but when I did it for my own reference, the output was much better (IMO).
The video was recorded on my mirrorless with receiver attached to it. On other samples in the video, they are from the tx directly paired to my action 4 (inside helmet, exhaust and comparison with phone, in all of them).

Happy miles brother!
Really liked the quality of the video.
To the point and accurate parameters of comparison.
Thank you so much for this video! You just made me even more excited for my microphone to come in the mail :)
Great video man, appreciate your work!
Top notch video harshit bhai, top quality content 🤩

Bro can you share your wired setup tutorial
I’m getting high water pressure issue … when I connect external mic with action 4 … I’ve never taken it near water till now

@ starting at 1:43 actually
Yes. That is on the chinpad, with deadcat attached. Noise cancellation low. Gain at minus 6 or so.
@@harshit_chugh that's awesome, thanks brother 🙏
How much is the delay to connect with action 4 while turning action 4 on and off

One more doubt. Did u use the receiver while shooting the moto vlog or just the mic with Bluetooth connection?
The video was recorded on my mirrorless with receiver attached to it.
On other samples in the video, they are from the tx directly paired to my action 4 (inside helmet, exhaust and comparison with phone, in all of them).
How mch time it lasts?
I'll believe the 10 hrs they say. After genuinely a lot of testing and wasted footage, I had about 50% battery left (as seen on action cam).
