I'm using lone ranger but I think these guys dont sell these boots anymore. Excellent product (and company people) I think but probably didn't sell well. I bought them for 10k. I'm also contemplating buying Forma adventure boots but they are expensive. What is your budget and what options are you looking at currently? 🙂
I am new to riding, and had no idea what the shoes costed. I was initially thinking around 8k, but after doing my research I'm realising that the shoes with CE certification are really expensive. Almost 15-17k.
Whats your purpose? Raida and Tarmac should have some reasonable priced options, not sure if CE certified though. Or find someone who is travelling to Thailand, Vietnam or other asian countries, you may save a few thousand on more expensive brands. If you really want something makeshift right now, then check Orazo (though I personally don't like how they look).
Totally depends on the time of the year you choose and your adrenaline but I'd suggest get a good pair of waterproof gloves and not to stick to normal leather ones. Reason is that the weather in the mountains is mostly unpredictable and its best to be completely prepared for all situations. I'd suggest look at options from Viaterra. I've had good experience with their gloves (Tundra I guess is the name). IMO, most Rynox products are overrated so I don't look that way but you are free to choose. Heard dry ice are not that bad. I'd suggest go and try each option because most winter gloves are thick so its best to have a good fit or your palms start paining after a while.
@ Thanks for the detailed reply. I too own Rynox products and I’m not satisfied with the quality of their recent products. I will look Viaterra and Solace just like you mentioned in your video. But getting a Viaterra or Solace WP is a task in offline stores here in my place
Genuine feedback. Biggest problem with small brands. I've faced this issue with Rahgear as well. Ping them on Insta or through email on their website, I'm hoping they'd help.
Me also a biker but I couldn’t have any type of body gear, haa just I have helmet and shoes so I want to ask you can you kindly give your bbg jocket but not for free I’ll pay you some money because I want buylike second hand
If you want to use it for touring you can borrow it from me. I dont want any cash, you just pay for the courier to and fro (and clean it before you give it back for the next person 😀). I have winter liner too but not the rain liner. This way you can use it temporarily and also you can test it before you decide to buy one.

Would you suggest a waterproof winter gloves for Ladakh/Spiti ride? Or can we use normal leather riding gloves to beat the cold

Will you be able to share your email id here? I'll send you an email with details. Which city are you from?
