i almost gave up on working my abs because of neck pain and thought that i should just leave it there. think i'll give ab exercises a go again and thank you for your tips!
Wonderful! It’s totally possible to strengthen your core with “neck friendly” exercises! And the stronger your core gets…you’ll eventually be able to do those “crunched up” exercises WITHOUT straining in your neck. YOU CAN DO IT!!! 💖😘💪🏼 Be sure to try this workout 👉 ua-cam.com/video/h2Ik2aVZX_o/v-deo.html
Jennifer Bond no they’re definitely not all neck friendly, it’d take a little if explanation to tell you why and I’m guessing that you may not have head or neck issues or a hyper mobility disorder so I’m glad they all work well for you
Thanks a tonne! This video is all I had to see and I feel so relieved now! I tried the apple under chin trick and it works like magic! Now I can actually enjoy my ab workout! Thanks!
thank you dear Desiree! this video reminded me that before i started working out with you i made those mistakes and never wanted to do ab workout!!! and through your videos i got much better and now do ab workout thank you so much!!!!! 💕💪✅
Dear Dansique I already knew all of this tips and actually I don't do make the mistakes you talk about in this video but I still get pain on my neck. While I do your routine I feel my core working fine and I can do easily all of them but I do really need to rest my neck or on my arms (kind of awkward, but it works) or Lately I used a yoga block just to support my neck. Thanks for your help any way :)
Using a yoga block is a great option. The stronger your core gets, the less tension you'll naturally take in your neck, so keep up with your core exercises! xo
this is great helpful information. Thank you. I have a strong core, but deal with neck pain all the time. I've not been holding my head correctly so I appreciate any info with helping with this issue. Pinched nerves are NO FUN!
That doesn’t sound fun. 😳 I’m so glad you found this video helpful though...try to be more aware of your head placement and that should alleviate the discomfort. 👍🏼
Girl no matter how many times i try to do this my neck still hurts sooo bad it might be that i'm doing this wrong but i watched this vid like a million times and my neck still hurts🥲 plz tell me a few things that i might be doing wrong in this, so my neck does not hurt anymore
Try not to get frustrate…if your posture/alignment is correct and you’re still experiencing pain it’s most likely because you’re just gripping in your neck. The stronger your core gets the less you’ll grip in your neck. Try these 2 neck friendly workouts below…do them consistently until you build up more core strength… ua-cam.com/video/fToHIheb2PU/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/JpA7_HsIHIM/v-deo.html
There are plenty of ways to strengthen your core without having to be in the "crunch" position. Try this workout of mine ua-cam.com/video/h2Ik2aVZX_o/v-deo.html and let me know how to goes! xo
Omg I wish I knew this before doing a 30min workout without this kind of instruction with like 20min being core workouts. I can barely move my neck or sit up ;( !!!
I experienced whiplash about 30 years ago and as a result, the curve in my neck went in the opposite direction. Chiropractors weren't known in my area at that time so it took years before I had any corrective treatment. It's still only 50% corrected. Could this contribute to my neck pain?
Aricka Ladebu If during your core exercises your head/neck is in the incorrect place...then YES absolutely, that’ll cause more neck pain. I would stick to core exercises that don’t require you to lay down then curl up. You can easily work the core by holding planks and doing exercises where you’re sitting up. Here’s a great workout specifically made for people who experience neck pain. ua-cam.com/video/h2Ik2aVZX_o/v-deo.html 💖💖💖
This should be the first video anyone watches before they start Pilates.
You've given me confidence to start my exercises again without fear of the pain I've had in my neck...thank you
Wonderful! My pleasure...happy to help! xo
I’ve been trying to get abs for years and I never could because of my neck. I’m now able to actually do ab workouts again thank you so much :)
You're so welcome! xo

The Peachie Spoonie isn’t all her vids neck friendly if the proper form she is showing is implemented? Not being snarky I promise! 🤗
