Praggu b6 was probably the move which surprised Gukesh burning up his time . Tough luck to gukesh but the performance of both in this game shows that the future of Indian chess is in safe hands . Hope we can get someone like alireza from this talent pool .
@@ajsuhas4362 Just depends on what you mean by it. E.g. it's fair to say his ELO rating can be as high or he can be as good of a player, win as much, etc. Yes they are individual people and it's not fair to compare, I agree.
I've noticed that many of these Praggu games are him coming back from worse positions. It shows great resilience but I find it hard to believe he'll be able to get away with this consistently in the top of the top of the chess world
I agree, on the other hand he makes the games more interestig. He is not gonna consistently defeat everyone in the near future, but his games are either way very unbalanced and exciting to watch, you never know whether he will blunder or defeat Magnus with new idea.

@@manawearblack I think Arjun Eragaisi has been phenomenal past year. Let us see how he continues to progress. he will hit the 2700 milestone in the near future for sure and he will play top tier tournaments. It should be exciting to see him go against top players in classical format. Last year he did great in rapid format against Caruana and Aronian. I wish Nihal Sarin also plays to his potential. Few years ago he was the brightest talent among Indian youngsters and COVID has not helped that much but I wish he plays more classical tournaments.
@Trobosko yes I think this game really exemplifies the difference between top engine move and best move in practice for humans. Both the early 'b6' which was not a top engine move but lead to playable positions for Pragg, and gxf3 which was a top engine move but made whites position much more difficult to play.
I really love this ending and how Praggu targeted the single white piece on the board that had no defenders with Nd1. This is a great lesson for me to always look for weaknesses to exploit in every position.
At 3:04 I think you have to move the bishop, since capturing with the queen on d5 to protect the bishop is impossible due to Bxh7+ also a discovered attack towards the queen.
This game proves that the top engine move is not always the best for human. Gukesh burned his time because of opening up the G file on his king despite being the top engine move.
03:02 "You don't want this bishop here even though there is no good discoveries...you can capture wirh Queen on d5" But there is a good discovery - Bxh7+.
what are you thoughts on implementing a flag of each players nationality on the left side by their name to add some international intrigue into the analysis? thank you
