6:50.. I'd swear I heard Paul talk about meeting a Jamaican named Desmond who always answered Paul & John's greetings with: 'Obladee, obladah. Life goes on.'
He was a dj in a club that Macca went to a lot...Paul would ask "how's things, Desmond?) and Desmond always replied with a smile and would say 'Obladee, obladah. Life goes on.'
Tracey Ullman and Paul were both in the movie Give my Regards to Broad Street. I remember it being my favourite movie of the year back when I went to see a movie every Friday night. But apparently I hadn't heard that according to the critics it's no good. Also despite being a perfectly acceptable movie, whatever the critics said, it seems to have evaporated without a trace.
I love Paul, and I enjoy the movie….but it’s terrible. I think Paul was surrounded by “yes” men at that point, when he would’ve benefited from a Lennon type to tell when an idea was trash.
Beatals then changed it Beatles.. he was a fan of buddy holly and the crickets which the word has a double meaning they insect and the game of Cricket in England.. he wanted a name that had a double meaning so Stu and John came up with Beatles like the insect and Beat like the drum beat.

9:15 very telling, McCartney stops dead, and lets Tracy tell her story. Speaks volumes about one of the most famous and successful people in the world?
You can find a recreation of Suicide in the Beatles style by a group called Apple Jam. Tracey Ullman was fit on this. Not so much on Larry David's last series. 😂

The 4 Beatles had great humour and never took themselves too seriously! Fantastic!
I like this as it is British. The show, the audience, the host. It's a whole different vibe and understanding.
What would you expect in a British TV show with British guests?
@@alexbowman7582He didn’t say that he was expecting something else. He was saying that he liked it.
I haven't watched too much Brit TV..so yes was appreciating the difference from here in U.S. altho I don't watch American TV anymore.
Paul is such a gift to us.
One thing about the Beatles, all 4 had a great sense of humor. Always making us laugh in their interviews.

Yeah PID is a real laugh riot
Always loved his sense of humor (among his many other gifts)
Saw Paul live in concert back in 93, with Linda on keyboards. Was an amazing concert never forget it. He’s an incredible entertainer

he looks so young and beautiful
Paul McCartney giving homage to Buddy Holly. That's awesome!
He produced a very good documentary on Buddy back in the mid 90s.
@@Mr.56Goldtop He mentions it in this interview.

Paul's last minute 'shall I wear a tie' look.
He was only 42 here.
was thinking exactly that! 🙂
So young looking at 42. Beautiful.
41, actually
Looks about 60
you know what I mean...
I was distracted by Michael Aspel's hair; it looked like it had the ability to leave the room at any moment
And I was distracted by Tracey. But funny observation nonetheless.

Paul is so funny, he seems to be a real smarty pants here. I luckily saw him in 92 and 2022.
A fresh Paul McCartney 🎸😊
