Is a collar or harness better for dogs that pull on the leash during walks? Leash Pulling can be challenging, especially if you are not using the correct collar or harness for your dog. Most times you can correct your dog from pulling during their walk if you simply change the equipment that you are using with your dog.

I personally do not care for any harness when training a dog or pup. Once they are adults and know how to walk properly without pulling you can try a harness. But if your dog wants to pull with a harness at any age I suggest going back to a collar.

We use a chain type martingale collar for Hachi and its helped a lot with stopping him from pulling.

Your information is always so great and helpful! I have 2 huskies, who I have pull me when I am on rollerblades. I initially taught the 1st one not to pull when walking, but then had to convince her to pull once she was older. ???Should I get collars for when they are just walking??? Will it mess up there pulling when I want them too????

Dogs are so intelligent they will learn that a collar is for nice walks and harnesses are for pulling! Get both
