Hi guys, some of you are pointing out some mis-colouring in the last pier-pano and you are totally right. I didn't see it during the editing phase, probably due to my colour-blindess and I didn't use my "catch unwanted colours process". Now that you point it out, you're totally right! I had to go in and check the editing file and it turns out it has happened in the Ai noise-reduction in CameraRaw/Lightroom. I have made a story about it on Instagram. The Instagram story will be gone 24 hours after I post this comment ;)
I have never seen those weird boxes before, maybe is a Camera raw bug. I use the Lightroom's AI NR and I have never seen anyting like that, if you push it too far on the slider maybe you can see some weird AI things, like blurrinesh, but there is no reason for the AI to create big color boxes all over the photos
@@JaimeHedrerahaving not seen these boxes, I can say that even the newest version of Topaz Photo AI has similar effects on images… a grid of “boxes” (it’s a grid, haven’t measured the pixel dimensions of each grid-division, but square and looks like 64*64 or maybe 128*128 pixels), appears, as slight (but super visible in printing) discoloration … easily seen if you crush the processed image contrast. Topaz has yet to address this, as this effectively renders their software unusable for images to print!
The pier photo at the end has colour squares that don’t match. The water is browner in some squares and greener in others in a checkerboard arrangement 13:41 . Is this due to the processing? You can also see it less dramatically in the sunset photo to the lower right of the pier in the water 14:04
It has do be the brightly lit boardwalk for me, with the drama behind it. I've always loved photographs of brightly lit things/areas in front of heavy, moody skies. Wonderful.
The photos are very good! That time-lapse with that song was epic! It was like an adventure movie, on the high seas or in port areas before setting sail on the adventure. Regards from southest of Brazil!
I love these videos the most, because the weather and landscape is closer to the day to day life and not necessarily a travel ticket away from being able to capture it myself.
I enjoyed the video as usual Mads. Wow those rain clouds were amazing. You could definitely see how heavy the rain was on the water with the two boats. The time lapse was amazing as we're the image's. Catch you on the next one.
Mads, these Panos from thy done, the quantum foam effect of the train in the lake and the clouds in thy clouds at the warf. Some of your best photos I've seen. A day you'll not soon forget.
Beautiful video, Mads! I like the sun-lit pier best, the difference between the sky & plants/pier is dramatic. That storm---wow! Beautiful clouds & the shots of the "frozen" rain drops on the surface of the water were really cool. Great sun set, too!
Absolutely fantastic. Wish we had clouds like this in Britain, but I don’t think I have ever seen anything like it before. Great shots with both camera and drone! Thanks.
Great video. It is super when a front like that moves in and you are in the right spot. It is surprising how fast it actually moves and how quickly the formations can change.
In terms of your question Mads, I preferred the sunlit boardwalk image as the sky in the background really made the foreground pop. As for the rest of the video, wow, what an experience to capture the images and the timelapse at the end. Those conditions really made for some dramatic images. Can I ask what the weather app was you were using when you discussed the approaching weather front?
The shots were fantastic but the final one from the time lapse takes the cake. Unbelievable! One question for you: When shooting manual time lapse, what do you base the initial exposure on? Existing light or open or close down a stop or so?
Impressive the chubby rain drops on the water! Awesome! Loved the final time lapse……fast motion! I’m seeing red/green squares in your final images……am I seeing that right? Intentional to protect copyright?
G’day Mads from the land “DOWNUNDER”; Australia. I have been a follower of your channel for a while now and absolutely love your work. I noticed your drone shot in this vid of the boat and shelf cloud pano. How do you get your drone shots so sharp? I have the “DJI Mavic 3 pro. Your reply will greatly appreciated.
That very final photo is beautiful, phenomenal clouds and colours! The image before that has some weird square purple/green artefacts in the water, it seems? Or is that just me??
I prefer the sunlit boardwalk image but would like to see as a 16:9 letterbox aspect ratio - I think that would make the parallel lines of water, reeds, sky and could stand out very graphically
What lens did you use for the first photo? You need to update the description under the video because you still have A7RIII in it, and you are currently using A7RV
I have a problem with the first picture. Long exposure will get you smooth waters, alright. But those sharp long weeds... you can't have gotten that on a long exposure with all that wind on the same shot, can you? Did you overlay two different shots with different exposure times? Or what am I missing here?

OMG! You are colorblind as well, and in photography? For this reason, can you expand on your “catch unwanted color process”?

I would have loved to have seen a black and white version of the boardwalk shots. Especially the last one. They would have been glorious!

Wonderful cloudscapes and insane weather, but they make the most mind blowing photos.
It has do be the brightly lit boardwalk for me, with the drama behind it. I've always loved photographs of brightly lit things/areas in front of heavy, moody skies. Wonderful.

I like them both. Different emotions from each. From Lolo, Montana
I love these videos the most, because the weather and landscape is closer to the day to day life and not necessarily a travel ticket away from being able to capture it myself.
I enjoyed the video as usual Mads.
Wow those rain clouds were amazing.

Catch you on the next one.
Fantastic last image Mads !!!
Mads, these Panos from thy done, the quantum foam effect of the train in the lake and the clouds in thy clouds at the warf. Some of your best photos I've seen. A day you'll not soon forget.
One of the most amazing cloud landscape pics you could see anywhere- you should make a new PhotoBook. GREAT JOB!!!
Superb images Mads, you show us how well images come out in bad weather very nicely. Thank you.
Great video Mads, that cloud and sky was completely insane. Congrats once more.
Beautiful video, Mads! I like the sun-lit pier best, the difference between the sky & plants/pier is dramatic. That storm---wow! Beautiful clouds & the shots of the "frozen" rain drops on the surface of the water were really cool. Great sun set, too!
Love your drone shots, the best of this video
Stunning shots! Funny experience of the rain shower 🤣

Beautiful! Loved this.
Absolutely fantastic. Wish we had clouds like this in Britain, but I don’t think I have ever seen anything like it before. Great shots with both camera and drone! Thanks.

Just gorgeous, as you'd say!
Great video Mads...you captured the mood very interesting... cheers from Australia 🦘🦘😊
Gorgeous captures, Mads
Absolutely great video! Congratulations!

The last picture Masterpiece
beautiful
Fantastic shots ❤
Magnificent Timelapse, Mads! 😍🥰🤩!!!!!!
Awesome skies!!
That timelapse was insane....
amazing pics
Thank you for taking drone photos in the presentation. Hope for more of that. Good luck.
Great video. It is super when a front like that moves in and you are in the right spot. It is surprising how fast it actually moves and how quickly the formations can change.
Gorgeous clouds!
I absolutely adore the final capture as I am a sucker for sunset images!😄
I like the photo with the foreground in the shadow.
Wow, that sunset picture was exquisite, sometime thr best sunsets are after the storm pass
Wow that’s was amazing Mads.
So many brilliant panoramas.
Well done Sir.
The colours of the final image are great.
AWESOME!!!!!!!
WOW Just WOW!
That time lapse at 13:00-ish...holy cow. That was some storm cloud!
In terms of your question Mads, I preferred the sunlit boardwalk image as the sky in the background really made the foreground pop. Brilliant moody landscapes, I especially liked the drone panoramic images!
Stunning!
Nice one Mads, some great mood, and loved the time-lapse 🥰👍
That final sunset image is insane! 😍👏
Wow that last photo 😮😮 👏
Great photo. Was it two photos merge because of the wind? One fast shutter to freeze and the other to smooth the water?
That red boat !!!
Very inspiring, thank you.
What skys,great.
Awesome shots Mads
Impressive the chubby rain drops on the water! Awesome!
Loved the final time lapse……fast motion!
I’m seeing red/green squares in your final images……am I seeing that right? Intentional to protect copyright?
Noticed it as well, but felt too novice to comment that on a pro 😅
@@aaohknsn I wasn’t sure if I should either to be honest ;)
Excellent image 📸 sharpness is quite impressive.
Great video
Great sunset shots! So, when are you going to make like Thomas Heaton and come over here to the U.S. for some storm-chasing?
Drones are the best.
Well done lad!
Просто супер!!!! Молодец!!!!!
That looks to me like what they refer to as a Roll Cloud.

I think the one in shadow looks better. Did you try a vertical there? I think that would have worked well.
That very final photo is beautiful, phenomenal clouds and colours!
The image before that has some weird square purple/green artefacts in the water, it seems? Or is that just me??
Спасибо за видосик
Köszönjük!
Beautiful video and scenes. Cheers! I have a question. What is the swivel bracket for camera you are using? Thanks.
Great video... it might be just me... but the first photo on your last montage has very bag green blocking artifacts? Looks like an upload issue?
I prefer the left hand photo at 2:23 as it has a bit more dynamic range.
I prefer the sunlit boardwalk image but would like to see as a 16:9 letterbox aspect ratio - I think that would make the parallel lines of water, reeds, sky and could stand out very graphically
As usual Mads, the most beautiful photos on UA-cam! Absolutely gorgeous!
Wooow
that one at 7:08 - o m g
I prefer the darker foreground. Less distracting bright light in foreground and emphasizing the background clouds.
Very moody and atmospheric shots. ( spouts not sprouts. Totally different 😂 yeah I know, my Danish is non existent)
7:21 was a little bit scary. but very beautiful photos
What lens did you use for the first photo? You need to update the description under the video because you still have A7RIII in it, and you are currently using A7RV
what app were you using to show the clouds as you slid the slider on your phone?
Excellent video but I wish that you could have added the focal length, shutter speed etc etc
I have a problem with the first picture. Long exposure will get you smooth waters, alright.
But those sharp long weeds... you can't have gotten that on a long exposure with all that wind on the same shot, can you?

Hi, what storm radar app are you using?
