And it's so restricted. We can't wear shorts, skinny jeans or what. It's just a blouse with collar and a short skirt. Ugh.

I also go to china town and the japanese store that's in Chicago (an hour and 45 minutes from where I live at). The internet is always a good place, like ebay and amazon to buy cute stuff from Asia.

They're uniforms. I'm pretty sure most japanese uniforms are skirts for girls and pants for boys. Girls can wear shorts under their skirts and socks though, so you can be more covered up if you wish

Sandaaay I use to carry a teddy bear to school, mostly during exams so I'd have something to sleep on. But with schools in the US they kinda force ya to take heavy textbooks home where as textbooks over there are normally as thick as a notebook or they have to leave it at school.

not all japan people but some of these "high school kawaii girls" really try hard to be "kawaii".who wants that much stuff on their backpacks just to make it look cute?if you really like this kind of stuff its ok but its really obvious that they TRY to be cute.i think people should be what they are.not what others want them to be.i love japan culture and anime so much but these girls try to make their voice and everything kawaii in their life just to suit "japaneese high school girl" form and i dont think its good for them.i always think that eveeyone has a diffrent personality and not being able to show that is a problem about your self confidence. I just wonder something. Why do all the Japanese girls at schools always wear skirts? Like are they allowed to wear shorts or pants? I couldn't wear skirts all the time. They make me feel naked.
They're uniforms. I'm pretty sure most japanese uniforms are skirts for girls and pants for boys. Girls can wear shorts under their skirts and socks though, so you can be more covered up if you wish
Ugh. All or rather most Asian schools have uniform indicated for their students to wear. Skirt is definktely for girls and pants for boys. Like my school, I have to wear the prescripted uniform to school every single day. and it's always skirt.
Japanese cuteness is something you can't compare to other countries! they're at the top level!!

fham (old account) the thing is Japanese high school are different from American school in the way classes are distributed. Like for example one class stays together for the rest of school years, the classroom doesn't change, the student don't go to other classrooms, the teachers comes in the class room. And most of the break times while staying in the classroom is pretty boring, they will bring makeup to wear and small pillows or something like that

Sandaaay I use to carry a teddy bear to school, mostly during exams so I'd have something to sleep on. But with schools in the US they kinda force ya to take heavy textbooks home where as textbooks over there are normally as thick as a notebook or they have to leave it at school.
Sandaaay I used to bring my death Bunny to bring me Luck during exams and I used to bring my ds and PSP so I can play with my friends (yeah my friends and I were the types that hanged out in the IT room to either play games, watch videos or do studies)
