Bro you need to watch the music video if you haven't seen it. Ll gives you that old school hip hop feel to the max. Love this gem from two goats
Yes! The video is 🔥
Agreed! ❤
Bro he really behind
Just the beginning of that video is the best thing I saw in a long time lol
That music video directed by JakeTheShooter is Dooooppppee!!!! 🔥💥
This song is everything I love about elite MCs. LL for the classic delivery and energy. Eminem for the lyrical acrobatics.
What do ya expect from GOATs... they did nothing but make each other better.. best collab in a long time.
I like the "Not talking about a rental car when I pull out the Taurus" line. Among many many others.
You will love the video. The nostalgia is crazy for us 40 year old heads❤
There where 2 lyrical Masters on the 🎙️ MIC 🎙️ with one the the greatest Hip Hop track producer's Q-Tip and they just showed the young Cats and Mumblers and Flexers what Real Hip Hop is about and both delivered awesome and had much Respect 4 each other. Masters of their Craft 🎙️ United and gave us a present 🎁
From the age of 16 or so to the ripe young age of 56, LL has been an ENTERTAINER (Hip-hop, acting, presence, etc...) longer than most. Flowers!
don't forget the Rock the Bells company
@@redzwestisbestand still on CSi.. or whatever that show is..lol can’t remember
Love your reactions! The Farmers line was also a shout out to where LL grew up, “Farmers Blvd”. Then later on LL shouts out 8 Mile too. There’s levels to these bars.
Thank you. I knew where they were going with the Farmers Blvd reference, Hurricane Katrina, and 8 Mile. Plus the Jack the Ripper song reference was awesome.
Collaboration of the year!! Us as fans are the ones that win!! They both killed it!!!
🔥🔥
Eminem won too. He finally after all of these years got to rap with his idol. LL was the reason he started rapping.
LL is from Farmers Blvd in Queens.
Nobody’s picking up on that or don’t know that LL grew up on Famers st.
This makes my Gen X heart so happy! Being a Queens, NY girl. Hearing LL again ❤ and Em is always fire!!
I loved LL back when he first came out (Gen X here too -grew up in MA). I played him so much I wore out my cassette and had to buy a second one 😂 I saw him in concert at a Rap Fest with Run DMC, Big daddy Kane, fat boys, whodini, grand master flash, and a bunch of other rappers in the mid 80’s. Makes me so happy ll is out rapping like this!!!!❤
Eminem has made his place in history. No matter if you like him or not definitely one of the greatest.
I understand people not liking his sound or style. That's cool.
The haters though are crazy. Saying he only raps fast, has nothing to say, and all this other stuff. Trying to discredit him. There are Artist that I don't like but I recognize their skill
Llcoolj hit that beat switch like a boss definitely a goat
The first hip hop album I ever bought was “Mama Said Knock You Out”. I walked three miles to a Hasting’s store to buy it. I brought my Walkman with me so I could listen to it on the walk back home.
luv your reaction facts a duel effort they both carried this track... LL's flow is still flawless we know EM's penmanship is freaking insane bars for days... LL and EM literally murdered Q-tips beat...
this collab was well overdue ⚜⚜🥰🥰
One of the greatest songs. Of all time
I'm totality here for you reacting to the Eminem Show! 😍
This song is so ironic to me. I'm am old enough to remember when hip-hop changed. Record labels and A&R's refused to produce songs like this anymore. I heard them say the song was too underground and radio stations wouldn't play them or not enough females would support records like this. The reason that really pissed me off when I heard executives say if there were songs in this cadence it would take the shine off of rappers who couldn't rap like this.
"Spaghetti sauce and mozzarella on a tray full of pasta you got a couple of trained killers on ya".. trained killers on ya... trained killer-sanga... lasagna 😵
I call her Katrina somebody give "her a cain" Hurricane Katrina reference
❤
Two Master Goats just Goating around. Lol.
This 'bout makes your head spin at how freaking amazing the combo of these 2 goats bring it!!! ❤👊🥰🎶🎶🎶🎶 Great reaction sir 👏👏👍❤ "Mama said knock you out", my fave LL Cool J song ever! ❤🎶👊 Btw, I'm 53, so LL is only 3 years older than me and Em is like a year and half younger than me. My era, my people, my faves... This is GOLD 💛🎶🔥
Haven't heard in a minute...thanks! Ladies love him & M&M too!
“You’ve got a couple of trained killaz on ya/kill lasagne…to go along with the spaghetti/mafia bars! 😳🤯😂
You can see him hold up a plate of lasagne in the video, for those who might’ve missed it or question if that double entendre is intentionally there!
Truly a peerless lyrical genius! 14:46
Jack the Ripper showing the kids who he really is.
When this 1st dropped, I shared it on fb and said that there's going to a lot of boomers, and gen Zers surprised to find out that Sam Hannah is a rap 🐐 lol
The music video makes it twice as good.❤
You can't help but feel a grin grow from ear to ear when that theme song kick in 😁
This collaboration is just awesome. I have been going around listening to reactions. Love it
I just watched Kirzz’s reaction… I downloaded LL’s whole album a few days ago BECAUSE of this song and it’s been ON REPEAT SINCE…. I can’t wait to see what you got to say.
I am shocked you are not more familiar with LL!!!!! If you knew LL better you would have appreciated a lot more of the bars from both of them. This song is bonkers
Mention like a penchant to, come back like a vengeance like Jack the Ripper do. Penchant as in liking something but also Pinchin street has a site of an alleged Jack the Ripper murder. Who puts bars this obscure together. Crazy
Thanks!
Women Treat Me Like B.D.K (Big Daddy Kane) The King & They Feed Me Grapes! Big Daddy Kane Had An Album Cover With Women Feeding Him Grapes like Julius Caesar!
And they did the "Going Back to Cali " reference at the end was perfect!
Your gonna love the video man!!!! Love your reactions and the content you put out 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The best to do it. Eminem is GOAT. There is not even a question.
Bro you should have done the vid for this cuz the visuals would have help make even more sense to some of the bars in Eminem's last verse especially
I like the fact that your logo could be Eminem and LL Cool J in 20 years..still doing it
"You better pick a BC day cuz you're history..." was taken from one of those "Ain't No Half Steppin'" by Big Daddy Kane. I've watch a ton of these reviews and no one picked that up. Love the homage...
I love the shout out to the Goat Big Daddy Kane from Em. You have to check out the video , makes you appreciate the song even more 🔥🔥
Also peep that it was a Hurricane Katrina joke, which was a severe hurricane that hit new orleans and parts of louisianna pretty badly in the mid 2000's 🤷♂️
Voting for "Eminem Show" for sure!
This is a greater team up than Deadpool and Logan. I've spent over 40 years writing poetry, and LL Cool J is one of the reasons I got started doing it. Em has always been someone who impressed me a ton so having both of them combining and fucking killing it...this deserves to be up there with the greatest Hip-Hop songs ever. Plus it belongs on every Halloween playlist, too lol.
Can’t get enough of this song. Found your channel through Kris. Great reaction. I hope this song gets the recognition it deserves.
It's so funny you wrote your first rap to that. My brother in law did too i love singing it and we've playing with remixing it with our band. 😊 love you covered this history for sure LL sounds 🔥 ems em on ten always. Great track
Yep Eminem Show🤘keep up the good work ❤️ from New Zealand
This song is an absolute banger. It got me listening to old LL that I've never listened to before. I love it.
This is off the charts, you notice some musicians at a certain point go to another level of talent? I feel em just stepped up a level this year
farmers blvd is where LL is from in QUEENS, LL calls out 8 mile where Eminem is from
Not one reacted caught that bar when em said so as far as Boulevards I'm farmers like insurance claims.. LL is from farmers boulevard in queens NY
The "Eminem Hater Reacts" dude, Rio something, caught it and mentioned it in his second reaction to the music video.
Everyone thinks that the off ya/mafia line is the climax of a mobsters scheme, but it doesn't end there cuz its not a mobsters scheme.
It's an Italian scheme.
The true climax is Vini Vidi Vici. The scheme starts with the most famous Italian food, lasagna, and ends with the most famous quote from the most famous Italian of all time, Julius Ceasar. (which also happens to be a dig at Em's old whipping boy, Ja Rule, who's debut album carried the same name)
There was a shout out to Big Daddy Kane in there as well, everything flies by so fast in this one!
That’s why he needs to watch the video. He will definitely see the tribute to BDK in the video.
Dude I didn't know LL can go like this I didn't know he just knock me out with this one
Look up Hurricane.. cane❤
This GenX chick is loving this!
Keep in Rocking! ☮️🎶✝️
What I noticed what I miss from old school tunes is the beat flip and drop. Beastie Boys were ridiculous with it, but hearing it especially freestyle when most the back up cuts out for a couple measures and the MC's almost Acapella and keeps it going w out skipping a beat when it drops back in is pure gold.
L.L. lets get ill...lol
Nice to hear him again
Them together is wow..
Thanks
Em’s line about “Speaking of boulevards” and then “farmers”…LL is from Farmer’s Blvd, so it was a play on that history. 👍
Farmers Blvd is in Queens NY where LL grew up just like Em and 8 miles.
Mother's Finest - Baby Love !!!!
Trivia... I believe his name is James, but his stage name is short for "Ladies Love Cool J".I am one of them. I LOVE his muscular body, Eye candy!!!!
Bdk is big daddy kain. His album cover of his eating grapes.
Thanks for ypur reaction! Always great.
"and he just slips it in...." *PAUSE* *NO DIDDY* LOL
We need to hear your reaction to LL’s “I’m That Type of Guy”, which was in the Top 40 in the 80s and an early exposure to rap for many suburban and country kids.
Slugs that make you forget all that slick-ass shit that you thought of (Slugs like snails are slick)
What I liked is how Em didn't just straight DOMINATE the track like he tends to do on those guest spots. He did enough to show that he is the man, sure, but still. LL is one of his biggest idols, and I think he wanted to match his energy. As you said, a collab more so than a battle. And I love how LL still brings that old school vibe but he's not necessarily STUCK in the old school era. What a fun track!
EM couldn't dominate the track. LL's Energy, Delivery, and Stage Presence overshadowed him.
I think you would have a huge following if you started reacting to em because you’re a rapper and you’ll appreciate the bars more than an average person and that’s what we love! lol great reaction!
Goddamn LL still got it! Love it!
I love this song💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥🇵🇷
Hey BP! Definitely do EMINEM SHOW!!! I've just started watching your reactions more recently and I enjoy the realness you bring! It's funny, I just turned 40 this year and I went by my mom's house to help her with something and she was watching your reaction video and it was probably 2 days after I saw you on the Avenger's Podcast w/ Cliff and Knox! Knox is my choice for GOAT of breakdowns, he has truly changed the way I listen and appreciate music, from the flow patterns, rhyme schemes, cadence, pockets, and every other element of what is going on in the track. Cliff is a fellow Chicago guy and I feel like I'm just chilling with him during the Vids. After watching a few more of yours, I'm sure I'll know exactly what it is that makes me come back for more!! Oh and I love the double with your initials and your character in the Avenger's podcast lol 👌 nicely done!!
Went to Breaking Benjamin and Staind concert last night with my son. His first concert and my first in probably 30 years. Awesome show. It’s been awhile by Staind is one of my all time favorite songs. I would love to hear a reaction.
Yeah bro like everyone else said, watch the video. The video is 🔥🔥🔥
He said that because LL is from farmers Blvd in queens NY
they sounded good as hell together on this
I am SO excited/happy for James Todd Smith. This is the ish. I love that dude so much. Just bought two autographed copies of his new album and so excited to get an autograph from this LEGEND.
Edit: I didn't appreciate The Eminem Show at the time, and had the same trajectory as BP. I have revisited and it is dope. Check it out.
Farmers Boulevard is where LL grew up and Farmers is an real insurance company

The BDK pick a BC date because you’re history is insane if you know BDK and his Ain’t no half steppin track. Wild
“It’s E & J meaning me and James and y’all got the Affogato”- fyi Affogato is coffee or a liqueur and vanilla ice cream🔥🔥🔥

EMINEM SHOW LFG !!!!! I'll watch fo sure!!
Knowing you don't like to brake down bars, but you did a really good job doing it and I liked it.
Operating under the title "Rapper First time Reaction.....", I am shocked that you have never reacted to China's Hua Chenyu. He is Utterly Amazing & Unique.....I suppose start at the beginning with Chenyu's "Nunchucks" ua-cam.com/video/lLs-0A0yEuA/v-deo.html...Maybe Chenyu's "Qi Tian" (Equal to Heaven) or "Fake Monk" (as a side note (further videos/live concerts), his stages are beyond fantastic (multi award winning) "God Tree" ua-cam.com/video/OBjsOfvuSd4/v-deo.htmlsi=GfPYd0GnccOjGy-k Don't miss out! ♥
