This is one of the most great powerful poems about the human being and the metaphysics of our own reality.

As a Portuguese speaker, and a lover of this poem, I must say, I was delighted to hear it.
    Both translation and reading.
    Thank you.

How is it like reading and understanding Possoa's poems in it's original language? I envy you coz I can only read it translated.

I'm in love with this great man's poems, and loved them more by your sweet voice which makes me go in a dreaming like state of mind, especially before I go to bed while my eyes are closed, please keep reading for Pessoa..

So good! This has inspired me to start work on a version for UA-cam. In a different style to yours, and a different translation, but the same wonderful poem!

    Counter poem
    A free verse
    Ode to Fernando Pessoa
    I walk through your paws
    Touching and counting your nails
Until the stony stairs lead me to the cave
Where I sit in amazement, longing
Longing for you to take my heart,
    My very soul
    And my presence, very being
    My great forefather
    In complete serenity
    Without a murmur
    In this chamber of yours
    Where clouds touch her lips
    Fell her body
    While mother earth silently awaits
    Thunder, the rain
    Contrast the blue sky
Incise the moment precisely in my mind
    Where lies lust
    The desire
    And I weep
    Not with lament
But at the zenith of joy !
    Being one with nature
    Being one with the universe
    Whole universe
    My love for you
    And for my forefathers !
    By remasiri. ❤

When translated, you lose the Real meaning of a lot words and phrases; i am so lucky to have Portuguese as my native language. Thanks for the vídeo and recitation.
