  • Our fears and anxieties about quitting smoking are just stories that we tell ourselves, but we have the power to change those stories. Today, I look at the four most popular stories people tell themselves about why they can't stop smoking, and offer a counter-argument for each one.

On day 2. Smoked cigarettes for 20 years. Found one of your videos 4 days ago and have been binge watching your videos since. Honestly it has been helping me alot. So far everything you have said makes so much sense to me. This will be my second serious attempt (probably my hundredth non-serious attempt) after quitting for 2 years about 4 years ago and unfortunately started it again. Thanks for sharing your stories. They are life changing eye openers.

I just found your videos. Thank you!! I have been listening all day, one right after another. I’m inspired by these videos. I actually went for a walk this morning while listening and walked again this afternoon while listening. I just washed all the windows in my car snd removed the ashtray. I’ve been a pack a day smoker for 33 years. I’m done with it. My husband quit last Christmas cold turkey and is doing great. He hasn’t pressured me but I feel like an idiot for not quitting with him. Thank you again for your wonderful messages!

Hi Chris, Day 5 here. I agree that quitting smoking is very difficult but it can be done according to my brother in law who was able to quit smoking for more than 15 years now. I'm tired of being a slave to this cigarette. I want to free my self from this self bondage. A Pastor told me before that God gave man dominion over the plants not plants dominion over man. I'm going to free myself from this nicotine bondage for good. Thank you for all your encouragements and information.

Thank You SO Much Chris !!.....I'm on day 4 with the help of Chantix (also I've tried everything in the past)....Chantix is working for me. The Cigs just do not do it for me anymore, they are bland, useless, they taste & smell horrible. This is the last time I will ever quit, because I am now a non-smoker !......Luv All Your Videos !!

Really interesting video. Quit smoking pretty easily 9 months ago. Lately really have wanted them again. Just going to push harder forward. Cigarettes are terrible.
