Good luck!!
Routines with a cig omg lol😮
are you a non smoker?
Any update?
Smoked daily for 35 years, and quit cold turkey 7 days ago. It has not been nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I have really wanted to smoke a number of times but just ignored it. The urges pass quickly. What I did not expect was the sadness/depression: nothing is as enjoyable as it used to be. Hope this feeling passes....
Did you get tremors or shakes? 1 month for me with out smoking.thanks!
Update? Did you remain smoke free ? Did the feeling go away? On exactly 72 hours as we speak
It will your there
@@anthonyaddario4653 Yes I did. This Thanksgiving it will be 4 years smoke-free! The depression did eventually lift, once I got used to doing everything without smoking (eating, waking up, talking on the phone, etc.). I don't cough anymore, I can inhale deeply, I don't get bronchitis every year, etc. There really are too many benefits to list. Every time I think about smoking again, I remember how hard I had to fight to quit. I know if I ever had even one I would probably regain the habit. Once an addict always an addict. Congratulations on choosing to quit Anthony. You got this.
i smoked 1 to 2 packs a day for 26 years. 3 weeks ago i just quite. cold turkey. no gum no patch nothing. hope i can stay smoke free.
Are you still smoke free.
There are many components to stopping smoking including eg motivation and help from friends.
One resource I discovered that succeeds in merging these is the Quit Smoking Crusher (see the website QuitSmokingCrusher.com) without a doubt the most helpful method i've heard of.
Check out all the website QuitSmokingCrusher.com and interesting testimonials.

You know Chris? I am almost going to make it through day One. And it’s the end of the day and I am struggling SOOOOOO bad. Anxiety is eating at me. I’m so close to caving into the craving. I left a post in the support group and then came straight to your channel. I picked this video. And after 20 seconds I realized, your voice and personality is sooooo calming and grounding. Your whole being is so profoundly comforting, that I don’t think it matters what video I picked or what words you say. YOU GROUND ME. You have a special gift. I am so grateful to you. I hope that all you are doing to help others comes back around to you 🤗🤗❤️. THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.
So true
Hi Chris. I can’t thank you enough for these videos. I know this sounds crazy but I started smoking at age ELEVEN. I’m 52 years old now so that’s 41 years of smoking. I’m absolutely desperate to quit. It’s all I think about. My husband quit 2 years ago and feels amazing today. I’ve made it through 2 entire days twice but caved on day 3 both times. I’m experiencing intense heart palpitations and they scare me so much even tho I’ve read that this is very common. Also pain in the veins in my arms and I had a blood vessel in my palm burst spontaneously. After 41 years, I’m sure my body is literally freaking out. I am watching your videos over and over and they’ve helped me so much. Wish me luck to get through day 3 on my next attempt which will hopefully be this weekend. 🙏🏼
I wish you all the luck and hope you are able to deal with the withdrawal symptoms. I have also smoked for 30years, and I am on day 12 today, smoke free. I have taken up vaping, to help me with my journey. Maybe you should try vaping to help you climb this mountain? I must say that although its day 12, it's not getting easier for me, not sure when it does get easier and how long it will take for me to stop thinking about cigs.
I smoked for (only) 13 years, but I was not helped by the nicotine vape that I had, since it just kept my cravings going. If you are going to use a vape, I suggest using one that you can adjust how much nicotine you get (to slowly lower it) or one with no nicotine at all. Also, remember that day 3 is the hardest day by far! It does start to get slowly better after that, even though the withdrawal may slowly go away over a period of a few weeks. For my first 10 days, I had a constant feeling that this was how I was going to feel the rest of my life. It does get better though eventually. If you feel you may not be able to make it past the first 4-5 days, then you may want to see your doctor. I spent a night in the ER due to vomiting and was prescribed some anxiety medicine, which helped tremendously (especially since I used cigarettes to self-medicate for anxiety). Medicine and nicotine replacement therapies like the patch, gum, or vapes will not stop withdrawal, but they can make some of it more bearable, especially if your body is so used to having its nicotine. You can do though. The peak is always days 2-3 for cold turkey. You will start to feel better eventually, and you will be much healthier in the long run.
Wishing you every success in the world with your latest attempt..let's make this the last attempt you need! :) Sorry to hear you've been having so many troubles but I have found that the body gets to work very quickly on repairing all that damage and making us feel good again :)
Thank you all for your advice and well-wishing. I appreciate it so much. It’s 10:30 am on day 3 now and besides being terribly nauseous and very weepy, I’m staying with it. It’s the horror of this quitting process that’s proving to me how bad smoking really is and I can’t wait to be free of it.
You can do it. Make it through today and every day will get a little easier.
Its been 26 days since my last cigarette, I have finally quit after 13 years. My method was to stay hydrated, take a shower once a day, lots of prayers and tolerating the cravings now matter how bad i felt and started quitting in times when i was stressed and the environment was tough so i that i would do good when times are good!! Anyways, thanks to god, thanks Chris and good luck to those who want to quit cold turkey like me!!!! May God bless you !!! This quitting was dedicated to my mom!!!
Cut it out with that god stuff. You quit not a mystical force guiding you. Its 2021 why we still believing in stone age folklore to guide us through life. The glory is to you and your willpower and nothing else.
I quit 3 days ago and I have so much anxiety and nausea but in weird waves and your video truly made me feel better. Realizing that I’m doing this for myself is exactly what I needed.. when I feel bad I will imagine it’s my body getting rid of those toxins. People say it gets a bit easier after 4 days. I’m optimistic. Thank you.
I'm still enjoying being smoke free, day 5. Your videos continue to support my efforts. Thank you Chris! 😃
So glad to hear it! :) Five days is a big achievement and already brings loads of positive change to your body :) Keep up the great work! I'm really humbled to have played even a tiny part in your journey so far :)
My mood is all over the place. I’m entering day 4 of withdrawals. Feeling grouchy as all getup with high impulsivity to react. So I’m staying home for at least one week. Might hideout for two though.
It’s that pressure in the chest when a craving hits. Coupled with an itchy sensation followed by an irritableness that has me wanting to snap on others. I did already on day one. So here I am in bed trying to hang in with my endeavor.
It sucks currently. Waiting on that cough to begin next. Nasal drainage has started today. Tiredness is in play but tonight my eyes won’t close to sleep. I’m here past midnight listening to your video & waiting to get sleepy. ☹️
I couldn’t even sew earlier and whipped my sewing kit into the trash... 🤣
Decided not to engage in frustrating activities for a couple weeks. Luckily the needles didn’t bust out all over the place, ffs! 😊
I may watch your videos until I get over the hump. Thanks for posting it! 🙃👍🏽
Yep! Trying to not give in to my sweet tooth too. And changing my diet around while incorporating more exercise. Phew! Doing multiple life improvements currently.
I was just telling my sister about how there are no good videos of real people who quit smoking. Well, I was wrong. You are super cute and helpful. Thank youu!!
hitting the 48 hours mark right now, it is beginning to be really hard...
been smoking a pack a day for the past 25 years, i keep reminding myself that quitting smoking is an act of self love
Thank you for this Video Chris. I am going on my 5th day of quiting smoking and I have been quick to anger and I have been feeling tired and terrible. I am working so hard not to take it out on my family. I have 4 and 5 year old. And my mother and husband are both smokers. They are trying to support me, but its hard to understand when your not in it. Hearing anger is energy is really helpful. I wish I could movr my body more. The physical stress of quiting gave me my first shingles outbreak. But I am not letting that stop me. Time to plant some peas in the garden.
I’m not sure it will help with shingles, but L lysine is great against viruses which shingles is a byproduct of.
Keep up the good work!!!
"No, no, no, no, no, no..." Me driving past my spot where I bought my cigarettes. 😂 It's officially 8 days today! My worst days were #2 and #5. Doing good today so far. 👍

I started smoking in 1968... I was 13 years old !! In the 60,s things were so much different !! No one really knew about hoe serious this horrible habit was a killer.. I an now 68 .. The good news is that I was a very dedicated health nut while smoking right after a hour and a half sometimes two hours of really dedicated weight lifting !!! Then, a nice smoke !! Well... now the past 3 years I have not lifted anything heavier than a bowl of oatmeal??? Nuts wouldnt ya say ?? These days at night I can hear my throat crackle .. I know that I am headed towards some serious trouble if I do not quit this nonsense !!! I am Listening to you man !! I am afraid of the outcome.. So ... today ... I QUIT !!! Will keep you posted ...
Good luck, keep us updated

this is my fifth day of quiting smoke and i feel uncomfortable but thanks to you and the advice that really hyped me up to really quit smoking.
I'm on the night of day 3 about to head into day 4 and you've been a huge help and I can tell your truely doing this only to help ppl and somehow someway the universe will repay you for this! Your the fuckin man!
Thanks for your kind words, Malcom! Really glad the videos have been helpful. Wishing you every success on your quit journney! :)
Chris,
I stopped a few days ago and have smoked for forty years or so. What sold me on your videos is how passionate you remain in each one Even a few years apart these vids are narrated by a sincere individual who wants nothing more than to help others with his knowledge and experience. I appreciate your efforts sir. So I’m giving it another shot using you as my guide. 12/6/2019. Day 3
I used to vape alot and i mean alot with a high nicotine content in the juice. I just quit about weeks ago and the withdrawal symptoms came to me like a hurricane. Watching this video made me feel better and made me want to fight off the urges harder. Thank you good sir! You have helped me alot! Lots of love!
I find that's a big problem with the vape, there's no natural end like a cigarette so you can just keep pushing your tolerance higher and higher..
@david, what are your withdrawal symptoms?
I’m just on day one😩 I WILL NOT SMOKE AGAIN! Lol at the no no no no no no no! That’s exactly what I’ve told myself today ❤️
I hope you overcome your addition and see a better version of yourself on the other side ma'am
Thanks for making this Chris! It was worth the wait, even though the physical symptoms are mostly (if not completly gone) for me at this point. It is Day 37 now and what you said about the symptoms not lasting long is definatly correct. First two weeks were full of physical symptoms, but the closer I got to Day 30 the more they went away.
Also never considered the increased heartrate and "crawly" feeling in my veins to be the cravings themselves and also be relatated to addreneline, but it makes sense. For me that was the most frightening part of the process.
Now just dealing with the mental side of things and finding healthier ways to manage stress.
Thank you again for taking my suggestion, I hope you have a wonderful day! God bless!
Thanks Jordan, got here eventually with this one! Congratulations on making it to Day 37...glad to hear the symptoms are subsiding, good things are definitely on their way for you. :) Take care and here's to many more smoke free days!
Thank you my friend

@Michael Maragh hi, can i ask how long did you experience shortness of breathe and slight palpitation? Thankyou in advance if you will still notice this.
@Michael Maragh i see. Thankyou so much for that. Im on my 12th day, i am still experiencing the withdrawal sysmptoms. I just quit right away without doing alternative options. I often feel that shortness of breathe when im eating as well but after that it will be gone though it still hard but i know what to do know especially controlling my anxiety. I also do this with prayers so I can overcome this quitting stage without relapse. Thankyou so much for that my friend. Godbless and I hope no more going back to smoke. 😅
I remember this cat from 2016 congratulations brother! I've tried to quit five times and I'm currently on day 23 of my sixth quit. I've gone cold turkey this time and I'm feeling good about it thank you for being inspirational
Man of calm, reasoned assurance. I see why you were urged to tackle this subject. Didn't detect any arrogance or salesmanship. Day 5 with patch assist.
I quit 14 months ago, but I have no problem being in the company of smokers. (Just because I stopped doesn't mean they should have to too). It was a decision I made myself. Being puritanical or critical in the company of those who smoke is counter productive.
Thanks Chris
I'm just 2 weeks in- it's the dizziness that's hardest to cope with for me.
I feel like I've been on the piss for a weekend and can't bend down or lean over without getting dizzy.
I'm determined though and won't smoke again.
Thanks for the video mate
Friends . I smoked more than 6 years. I am absolutely feeling enough normal. Go back to green foods, salads, every morning empty belly take around 10 mint leaves and just leave for walking. Lemonade water bottle must b with you. Leave mobile and take.maximum sleep. I have been curing, stomach, liver, kidneys and heart by home remedies. I just know before no.matter how huge the happiness is front of me. I am just silent. Because disappointment and sickness never let u enjoy the reality. Now i have started laughing for small small things or jokes. So this thing encourages me to never smoke again.
These videos are very comforting, 7 days smoke free.
Man you cheered me up in a very needed moment, Thanks a lot !
Hi, Chris im day 7 quiting smoking with nicotine patch. You are really helping me a lot. I got your book Quitting Smoking and be Happy and i just ordered the book you recommended titled The Chimp Paradox. Thank you for all the information, inspiration, and motivation.
IM 61 AND SMOKED 45 YEARS,. ON MY 6TH WEEK AND HAVE BEEN GETTING DIZZY WHEN I BREATH DEEP.NOT GOING BACK .STARTED TRAINING AGAIN .STILL FEEL SHIT, YOU MUST WANT IT TO HAPPEN....ALSO SMOKED WEED!!! GIVEN THAT UP AS WELL,DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW LONG DIZZY WHEN BREATHING DEEP LAST....????
Hey Chris, thanks for explaining the exhaustion!! The way ive been coping is doing exactly what you were saying 😊 Letting it be ok if the dishes and the laundry pile up, and when i have the energy, ill do the dishes and a load of clothes to get by. Ive made my recovery a journey with God and ever day gets a little better.! Learning all i can about coping and moving forward with a new future motivates me. Im 2 weeks off nicotine, cannabis, kratom and energy drinks. I do have a smidge of caffeine to get through the day, but my need for that has decreased almost not needing it at all. I avoid putting pressure or stress on myself, thanks so much for doing these videos!!!! Praying for you and all of us ex smokers
Have smoked since 8yrs and now just about 53yrs. Use to take apack of 20 pieces and over . Its hard but I have hope and faith in God I will fight to be a winner. I want to say 30 days gone
Yes thank you so much. Im 5 days in and have never been so confident to quit. The breathing actually does help with cravings!
Make some vedio about anxiety during quit tobacco plz...
Yes, the anxiety was the worst for me too. Dizziness , adrenaline rushes the worst.

I've been studying quitting smoking and found an awesome resource at Quit Smoking Crusher (check it out on google)
Thank you for making this video - I stumbled upon it from the subreddit r/stopsmoking and I NEEDED this. I am at about 36 hours since I quit and my withdrawal symptoms are sucking the life from my day. But you reminded me why I quit and reminded me of ways to get through. I'm not an active person, so gonna go dance to some 80's pop music mix and see if that helps. I'm trying, and hopefully can report later that I made it another day. Either way - you earned another subscriber! Thanks
Thank you, Alexandria! Really glad you found this one helpful :) Turn that music up loud and do whatever you need to feel good :) Congratulations on making it 36 hours too...here's to many more ahead for you. Wishing you every success! :)
Have tried to quit smoking many times this month, your content is helpful, I resist craving because I don't want to start over!!!
Your advice is SO GREAT! I’m only on day 2. but I keep coming back to these videos and actively practising your advice and it’s helped so much! ❤️ thank you. I’m ALSO so grateful you were once a smoker so you can now share all this great advice with us. I’ve already noticed how good breathing in fresh air feels. I started dancing around the park oval near my house tonight with headphones in just dancing and running the pain out so hard because I can’t smoke and have nothing else to do- and I have to do something! And that also felt so damn good! Thank you thank you ❤️
Thank you so much for the kind words, Diyanah, so glad to hear you're finding the videos helpful and enjoying that fresh air!
I smoked for 3 years, now it's day 20 I stopped, I am happy
Excellent news :) Congratulations!
I'm 36 years old. I've smoked during 3 periods during my life. Approximately 5 years the first time (age 18-23), 8 months the second time (34-35), 7 months the third time (35-36). I quit 3½ months ago, hopefully for the last time ever.
First time I quit, I did it cold turkey. The two last times I used nicotine lozenges. I have to say that the most severe withdrawal symptom for me was low mood. Lack of desire to live, lack of motivation. Mild/moderate depressive symptoms.
I've smoked around 5-10 per day. After this third quit I'm noticing that my body seems to be slower to recover, possibly due to getting older combined with the damage from previous smoking rounds.
My airways and lungs feel a bit sore from time to time, and I've started to cough up phlegm with brown stuff in it. Lots of ex-smokers report that, but I never really paid any attention to what I might have been coughing up after I quit the previous times. It feels like my lungs and airways aren't producing enough mucus to get rid of the crap fast enough.
When I look closely at the stuff that I'm coughing up, it contains shards of brown stuff. It looks like my lungs are shedding its inner coating. It's really disgusting, and I find it kind of worrying that this stuff is only starting to come up now, more than 3 months after I had my last smoke. But better late than never.
I never thought I smoked enough to discolor my lungs, but apparently I have.
I have to admit I really enjoyed smoking and the temptation will probably never fully leave me. But if I feel that I ever become overcome with temptation to start again, I'll just go back and look at the pictures I took of the stuff I coughed up.
It's been 4 months since your reply but I wanted to thank you for it and just say to where you said you didn't feel you were producing enough phlegm, lots of people don't pay attention to air moisture content and quality in general. Drinking 8 glasses of water or more per day and keeping your homes humidity at least 40% or higher will help the dry coughs. Much like a hot shower helps. If you can't humidify the whole house even just the room you sleep in would be helpful.
Does anyone in their early days of quitting get really straange vivid dreams?
I did the first time I stopped. I astral traveled, dreamed music a few times, went through a portal, experienced ultra high definition other worldly environments, met someone in a petrol station who claimed to be an Egyptian God, flew a building like it was a spaceship etc... I also had the odd auditory hallucination when awake during the early days of stopping, mind you I had quit weed as well as tobacco.
I just came across your videos.
Thank you so much for doing these.
Great positive energi.
Bless you
Just started... The journey will be tough but i am in for it 💯🙋
Best of luck
This channel is a great resource!
I am starting my quit in the morning, I have a feeling I will be watching your channel all week haha.
Hi Chris, I am on day 3!!! Your videos are brilliant! Thank you!!!!
Love everything about you! Thanks man! Im on hour 6 right now .... my lord....
Thanks for your advice and insights Chris! You've given me a better perspective about the process and how to better deal and manage it.
Today's the day!
Hi Chris, I'm 48 hours off smokes and 3 months off alcohol. The cigarettes have the worse withdrawal, anxiety and the urge to smoke comes in waves. Watching your videos help. Now when I get the urge to smoke, I jump up and do a task that I maybe have been putting off. For example, sweeping , mopping the floor cleaning windows and fixtures around.😂
Day three. Time now. Learn to love the suck. I can feel the rage creeping up.
I can help you learn to love the suck xx

Im one of those having negative reactions. I quit 2 weeks to this day. Everytime I exercise vigurously I feel like my lungs are numb and I feel like I cant take in oxygen. Its hard to explain but its like I cant feel my lungs and cant feel the breathing even if im not breathing real fast yet. I then go into anxiety attack and start to think im dying. Its awful at the moment
try to keep it light in the start.. increase your workout intensity gradually your lungs need some time..their capacity will increase with time and working out fastens the process
It's my third day of not having a cigarette, I love watching your videos as it gives me a positive attitude, I am struggling mainly when I first get up as my routine used to be, get up make a coffee then have a cigarette, now I've stopped smoking I am finding it hard, can you keep your videos going please,
Hi Chris. I love watching your videos. I am 24 days quit, and am still using 21mg nicotine patch. I have 4 more patches and then will start using 14mg patch. I'm a little worried about going down, but I found a way out of the awful withdrawal the other day. I was having a horrible time. It came on suddenly, not that I wanted a cigarette. It was an awful feeling of jumping out of my skin, angry at the world, etc. So I normally take clonazapem 0.5mg twice a day. So I went and took another one, and soon enough I had gone and rested and took a nap, and the experience was over. So now I'm taking one and a half of the clonazepams during the day (I don't work), when I feel I most need it. The doctor had said I could take up to 3 per day if I needed to. So, when I go down on the patch, I am going to continue doing that. Once my body is off the nicotine, and I am feeling better, I"m sure I'll be able to dose down on the Clonazepam. It has been a hard journey, but much better this time round since I have youtube videos to watch, and meditation videos as well. I'm so glad you are making videos! Thank you, Chris.
I love your selfless attitude
1 week smoke free ♥️
Congratulations!
Much Gratitude to you...I’m going through the smokers flu now!
☹️☹️☹️but I’m going to stay strong
Hang on in there Madison, it'll pass soon! :)
Lol umm it turned out to be pneumonia
But I’m 5days strong... God bless
I just want to cry Chris. I’m on day 8 one video said I’d have tingling in my hands and feet but I woke feeling like my hands and feet had walked through poison ivy. It didn’t feel like tingling. I jumped in the shower ran burning hot water on my hands and feet. I keep trying to be my better self. But lord I’m struggling big time. Upside I do sleep at night but awaken to great grief. I don’t think running or jumping bicycling yet but I’m going to a friends and hopefully she’ll let be still. Thanks for the tips!!!😥😓😭😢
I've quit its been 2 weeks now and I feel very dizzy at times. Last evening the floor and everything around me was turning. I had the shivers and my heart was beating so fast. It was very scary 😨 we got this girl we can do it
day 3... I don't think I can do it. I didn't know these symptoms could make me cry. My brain is screaming and my eyes watering... I'm not good/courageous enough to do it. I feel so powerless. please pray for me so that I don't go out of my mind and buy a pack...
Rain Clouds oh my god, your comment appeared at such an incredibly important moment for me. Gave me strength. thank you so much, bless you!
You can hang in there I’m on day 8 it does get better the crappy feeling still come and go but they are way less intense just a little breathing in and out will get you through it
LUCKY I really hope I can come to day 8 without driving crazy, the problem with me is I really don't/can't believe that these terrible feelings are temporary... I feel like I'm always gonna miss smoking and my life without it will be a hell; I somehow know it is not true because I know it sounds crazy, but I just have this feeling .....
I’m not gonna tell you they go away easy but they do go away I thought the same shit I was feeling like I was gonna just quit breathing but I got through them try to see what time they usually happen so you can prepare yourself before they get there like do jumping jacks or go sit on your porch and just breathe-fresh air till they pass or talk to someone bout random shit
Never give up! Keep trying no matter what. Again and again until it’s DONE. Hang in there Esin. Best to you from Atlanta - USA. -Paige
I’m quitting . !12 am is it! I’m. Having all types of serious stuff going on. I been coughing that brown junk up. My legs are going into spasms. I keep getting really bad head aches my teeth n gums burn. My sinus hurt. I’m hit with that smoker flue.
I’m on some serious meds. I’m bipolar. I’m not okay. My chest hurts.
how are you now brother?
I've been smoking since I've been 11. Had a year or longer where I wasn't able to steal smokes so I quit but then I was able to get cigarettes at the age of 16 and I'm 19 now and I was to quit. I've found this video one hour after my "Last cigarette" hopefully i can make that statement true and truly quit smoking.
I'm Australian Smoking taxs here have forced me into extreme poverty with irreversible life threatening heath problems that follow it. if I fail to quit now I will suffer from starvation and homelessness even if i stopped eating I can't afford rent. Australia doesn't care about it's people anymore.
Sorry to hear about your circumstances over there. You can do this! Wishing you every success on your journey :)
I can understand your feeling.... Cigarettes are too damn expensive in ur country. 20 dollars for a pack is just too much . The amount I spent on cigarettes on my 1 mth trip to Australia would have covered my cigarettes expenses of 6 months in India. Good luck with quitting.
Same in Norway unfortunately
Worse now. $59 a pack of 40's.
I hope you are still around and see where I’m thankful for your help
Thank you dude very very much! Anger IS an energy!
Chris your Breathing sound to improve greatly since your first stop smoking video. ❤ this proves your point. Smoking 🚬 is just 1 of the many states of mind/consciousness that we can work through.
Neville Goddard teachings explains states of consciousness. Allen Carr easy way to stop smoking points out just like you Chris .
Your drinking water is the only way to flush your body.
To stop smoking 🚬 you need to ask yourself that question !
Why?
You do do this.
Ask yourself if this is happening to you !
This smoking is like a dog running after its tail ! Never getting the reward ?
So in all your day would you do business with someone that promises you a end .
But never delivers and takes your money everyday!
You wouldn't do business with them .
You would hate them for it !
You are doing it when your are smoking 🚬.
Giving and getting no end product.
Your on the hamster wheel. All you need to stop running after it !
Allen Carr and Chris drive it home if you are open !
Quitting is very easy! I have done it a thousand times :)
it means u resmoke a thousand times 😂😂
@@lhunminthangkhongsai8162 haha.
The more times you quit the more severe and longer withdrawal symptoms ARE
@@yahyaelmi8435
No it doesnt. Dont go around discouraging other people.
Fact: ONLY progress in your smoking addiction (smoking more or stronger nic levels) will make your withdrawal longer and much harsh.
I'm a newbie on quitting smoking I've stopped for about a week now my heart beat has been pounding like it's coming out of my chest and cravings also like my body is wanting to break out in cold sweats
Sorry to hear you've had a tough time with it, Jessica. The bouncing-off-the-walls-tearing-your-hair-out stage won't last long and you can certainly get through it. Hope the video was helpful in some way :)
when I quit smoking . I experienced dizziness, pounding heart beat and shortness of breath .. I think this is a part of withdrawal process.. I quit smoking past 2weeks
I thought i was the only one with this heartbeat coming out the chest thing its been 2 wks since i quit im not going back and i say that with confidence because i quit 3 other times and i refuse to quit over and over this time im dtermined because theirs alot i wanna do and smoking has held me down from it so im determined and will so happy when this withdrawel phase is over u keep up the good work also we got this

Hi I am on my third day, my God this is so difficult, God hear me. I need your help
Sorry to hear you're struggling, Gwen. Please hold on in there, things do get much, much better.
I am trying, my head is hurting on and off very often
Hope you're doing OK, Gwen . I'v ebeen thinking of you and sending good energy your way to get you through this quit...
Wondering how Gwen is today with not smoking?
the headaches can can be terrible. I feared that I was a cough away from doing physical harm to my brain. Some people will have if not all, irreversible damage. I wish Chris that you wouldn't down -play the side effects. For a 40 year old that smoked 20 years at a half pack a day, the side effects will be different from a teenager that smoked a pack a day for 2 years. There is a lot of medical information to consider both physical and mental. It is always a good idea to quit smoking! But much like quitting Heroine cold turkey can be deadly, so can quitting nicotine. Be careful in giving medical advice when the outcome can result in death.
I am on the 37th day of my quit. Apart from the withdrawal symptoms, the only real negative I have experienced has been a foggy mind. My short term memory has become terrible and I am finding it difficult to articulate myself in conversation. This has been a definite consequence of quitting smoking. I read one article than suggests when people quit the oxygen and blood flow to the brain temporarily drops. But everything readjusts with time. I hope they are right.
How are you feeling now
To help with the coughing, one could try either lungwort herb, or living silica
I have the quitters flu bad right now thank you for the help to fight thru
Hi Chris thank. I love your videos. Pitty I just discovered you. Hope you're doing great 💪✌️
I smoked a lot since I was 13 now I'm 22 I just quit smoking 4 days ago for the craving what I do is I play focus intense game like moba or pubg to focus my attention and it helps
It's been 1 month since I've not smoked a single cigarette.... However I usually get a little bit of acidity at times... And my breathing becomes fast....
I also have psoriasis which had improved drastically ever since I've quit smoking...
Thanks for your videos. They are really helpful. I thought I'd share my story because it might also help someone.
I stopped smoking cold Turkey just over a month ago. I used to smoke a pack a day for 25 years. Days 1-3 were fine. I had cravings but it wasnt too bad. I cried all day 4 and on day 5 the shakes started. I had lack of sleep, I was over eating like crazy, i was very very emotional and I thought many times of just smoking so I didnt have to deal with the withdrawal symptoms.
4+ weeks on I have not been coughing, but I have a stuffy nose EVERY MORNING. I still have the odd craving, but most symptoms have subsided - but havent gone completely. I am constantly out of breath... way more than before I stopped.
I want to have kids so I have to stay a non smoker. At the moment the only benefit for me is being able to get pregnant and saving money. I'm not feeling anxious anymore!
Congratulations!
Cass Living I’m having the shakes right now it’s terrifying I stop cold turkey

I'm on day 2 and really. Frustrated? I really appreciate the videos and they have helped me a ton to say no to a smoke. Thanks so much
Excellent video. Very helpful. I'm in day 5 of quitting. Thank you.
I will be quitting cold turkey soon
I did it before I'll do it again. Every time I get the urge to smoke, I'll be doing 10 push ups and 10 jump squats
The more you try to quit the easier it get each time. So don't get discouraged. This too shall pass.
thank you man! great video!

Can I suggest a glass of warm water first thing in the morning because you’re more than likely to have constipation for a few weeks until your digestive system adjusts.
I absolutely love you! Your videos are extremely helpful to me right now. Tonight I am 7 days into my quit.. I sleep 3 hours a night and then my mind just can not rest at all. Do you know how long this is going to last for ? Not sleeping is making my anxiety very bad. I also feel nauseous and very dizzy :( please help ..
Hi Janelle, really glad the videos are helping :) Sorry to hear you've been having such a hard time with your sleeping, I can definitely appreciate how bad that can make you feel! Hey Janelle how long did your symptoms last? I'm having the same
Just quit cold turkey for the new year, I’m on day 2 and have a sore throat, headache, just sluggish and tired and hungry. I’m done giving up when I get withdrawals I’m pushing through!
I quit on 1st of January too 💪👌
@@Angel33313 I quit on January 7th so 5 days now and feeling good. First time going cold turkey and I think that's the way to go. Let me know how you are doing now. :)
True...I fought cravings by drinking lots of water....
Thanks for the vid. Any advice about feeling spaced out all the time and difficulty concentrating?
Im going on 3months I was lightheaded and dizzy only around 7to 9 pm I be fine all day. and chest disconforts panic attacks anxiey mouth have funny taste the feeling have me crying and I cheering myself on still havent smoked
I have same problem ..i,m quit smoking 4 month .now you feeling better..?
I would just like to say once you have stopped for a week your taste buds and sense of smell come back i got hungry a lot more but i used strawberries and blueberries for there flavour mainly to help fight the cravings the cravings themselves dont last longer than 5 minutes i would say its been 2 weeks without a cigarette or weed and I feel great now
When cravings get very bad I find a paracetamol helps. With lots of water. Also when the lack of energy becomes depressive have an energy drink, early in the day otherwise you can't sleep. And all the advice that Chris says 👍
5th day and going strong god help me more ..
I found although I had a relapse after 3mths not smoking at all so I tried technique of drinking water it helps to detox your system faster and is also good for reducing caffeine so not so tempted drank orange juice in morning too had horlicks at night to relax. Eating went up but weekend went for a nice slow walk first and made it short then went for a longer one and so on. Plus did house work.
Thank you for this.
I have realpsed 6 months ago and broke my 6 months streak because of weight gain, i did a mistake by replacing a bad habit with a bad one too. I started to eat day and night just to have the dopamine i used to have from smoking and gained a lot of weight i regretted quitting cigarettes and i decided to stop eating a lot and i quit sugary food and junk food i had horrible withdrawal symptoms from them but i started to feel better after 1 week but then smoking urges came back harder than it should be and i realpsed. Im a smoker now but the good thing is i manged to lose a lot of weight and recovered my old body i feel good about it and i will quit smoking soon when i reach the weight i want.
