- this is just the results of my 2 day project. I used polaris razor fang lights and cut them into my bumper. Then added a pickup style light/ turn/ and back up light bar for the rear. I will do a detailed breakdown for my next video. this is just a quick teaser of the results.
Just a short video of the results. It was a lot of work, but I'm very happy with the results. Polaris fang style front running lights and blinkers, cut into my front bumper. Then the rear is a pickup light bar for between the bumper and tailgate. Plus a cargo light
WOW! As always, Ironheadbiker is gonna cause me to spend more money on my UFORCE 1000! Can't wait to see the install video! Keep up the great work!
Turned out pretty good. Lol
That is nice work! Looking forward to your install video, So much nicer and custom than I would have expected. Kudos and well done!
Thanks man! Might be a little bit before I get the video up, I gotta leave for work tomorrow, just cleaning up the wiring and putting everything back together
This is awesome!
Thanks man, I've got the muddtraxx but haven't been able to use it until I get the electrical all sealed up. Lol. Not enough hours in a day
@@ironheadbiker I hear ya! I’ll be happy for my mud and mayhem event to be over this weekend. The last two weeks I have been consumed with stuff needed for this event…but it’s gonna be AWESOME!
I can only imagine the prep work! I get to work until Sunday, but then I'll be home finishing up everything and enjoying a few days off. Have fun and good luck!
@@ironheadbiker thank you!
Nice frickin job bro. Looks awesome.
Thanks man! Still gotta wrap everything up, but it was definitely a custom job. There was nothing to mount those lights to. But yeah, I'm very happy with the results.
Love the fang lights great job do u know from what year the fang lights are from
2021 polaris. I cut them in the dash. Thanks for the kind words
@@ironheadbiker thank you so much man have a nice day
@danielochoa3770 you as well.
that’s cool how much to come do that to mine lol
It'd be cheaper to fly to Canada, buy one, and drive it home! Lol
@@ironheadbiker i jus need vid of how u did the rzr light in
You bet, I'm just getting everything (the wires) cleaned up and in conduit, then get it back together. I'm shooting little videos as I go, then I'll make and post the install video.
But just to give you an idea, I sanded down a wooden marker stake for concrete work, until it resembled the size of the fang lights. Then I used the 1/4" HDPE plastic I used on my door skins and heated it up and molded it around the wood, then cooled the plastic quick in front of my air conditioner. Lol. Then drilled holes thru the molded plastic that lined up with the studs on the back of the lights. The lights can't fit thru the cutouts, so the pressure from the studs press the molded part forward into the back side of the bumper. I may add some silicon to help everything hold in place, but right now it seems quite tight
I have a 2021 UFORCE 1000 and I'm wondering if you know what the switch in the dash with the triangle with an exclamation point in the middle does??? Also how many bars for the temp gauge go up on urs??? Most mine shows is 3 bars and fan kicks on.
Yeah it's an override switch. When you go to 4x4 LOCK, your speed and power are limited, so if you need more power:
1. Release gas pedal
2. Press switch and HOLD
3. Use gas pedal as needed, keep in mind, you must keep pressing the switch, once you release it, it kills the override and you'll be back to a "governed" speed/ power.
The 4x4 lock has full power to all 4 wheels so handling is greatly effected. The rear are always locked. So the 4x4 puts the front into a limited slip kinda mode, then the lock goes full 4x4 lock front and rear.
Thanks man!!! 😎👍
No problem. They got some mysteries for sure.
I used some rope lights from Amazon and they hyper flash. Any ideas?
Hard to guess. Start out on checking to see that the relay and flasher are all led rated because the low voltage could throw off a standard relay, or flasher. Also if you are using the rear brake lights as a turn signal, that also could cause the same issue like it did on my z950 ho ex. I just ran a separate brake/ turn/ running light instead.
Lights look awesome! Hey, have you had any issue with excessive rattling from the bed? Mine started after a few days and now it’s making a high pitch squeezing noise? Any thoughts on this? Thanks in advance.
Yeah there's a couple threaded bolts in the front on each side that provides pressure once it's down and locked. They each have 2 nuts to lock them. So loosen, extend or contract (probably extend) the bolt so the rubber sits tighter on the frame once closed and retighten both nuts. Mine also was a bit loose on one side.
@@ironheadbiker I’ll try that this afternoon, thanks! I went with the silver machine after seeing yours, the blue is sharp in person but this silver is nice.
