Add to (mitigatable) side-effects of beach "renourishment":
    Shark attacks via
    1) direct access channels (esp to areas between "sandbars"), and
    2) bait-fish populations created near recent dredging

Very informative, thanks! The Filipinos opposed to the present rehabilitation of the famous Manila Bay particularly in the adding of white sand in its shoreline should watch this vlog to be more enlightened why it should be done.

How prolific considering what has just happened to Daytona Beach after Nicole and Ian in 2022! Where do the beaches obtain all this new sand??

I was in SA Beach yesterday and saw them doing this to an area where the beach cuts off near a hotel. Then I was in Daytona Beach shores watching the high waves hit the seawall and erode sand in real time. I am waiting for these guys to come back here to DB shores. We need them!

You're telling me what am I doing here!?!? I'm born and raised in Orange county California and live in San Diego California!!! 🤣🤣🤣 But I was looking up Virginia Beach because I was reading an article about that shit bag Carl Lentz who is the leader or was the leader of Hillsong Church in New York City and said he was from Virginia Beach. So I wanted to look up surfing in Virginia Beach and I came across this article about them replenishing the sands. LOL man the damn internet's wild. But nothing's worse than the fucking Instagram because you can be looking at a homies page and next thing you know you're looking at some 5-year-old kid and Lithuania who's posting cuss words in English trying to be cool with his friends and then you're looking at some 69 year old woman in Turkey and then all of a sudden you're in the middle of China all within 10 minutes because of Instagram 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

    "Sand"
Would like to see a comparison of the make-up of actual beach sand and what's being dredged. Sand doesn't form the mud the video shows. Using non-sand on a beach causes it to diffuse in the water as it erodes, and eventually settle onto reefs that may be smothered.
Beach sand in most places is comprised mainly of shell and reef material. How many thousands of tons of shells have been removed from beaches modern humans use?
